My First time going to Halloween horror nights was when Universal hosted it at IOA back in 2002. But before that i have always wanted to go, but my parents thought i was too young. Any who i went with a large group(Palm beach county Sheriffs Explorers) and got to the event on a Friday at 6:30--it was more packed then Mary's Vaginal walls at this years Reflection of Fear house, i only got to do 3 houses that night(like i said it was packed) with the lines being an hour and a half long. But what i remember most from this event is the beginning where you walk in.....to this date(i only went 04, 06,07,08) they have never had such an awesome Entrance! But little did i know that, that night would create a new Addiction for me that would last is gonna last forever, or at least till HHN is no more ......

dont forget Alfred Hitchcock.....ugh idk but i hope its good whoever they pick

yea i didn't get it either a backstory might of helped Thinking about this classic thing......ya think they might be going back to some of the tactics they used when the event first started sorta like a reunion of the classic icons they had prior to 2000?

Jordan's Halloween Horror Nights 2008 Reflections of Fear Review For the record when I went through each house i was alone and every scareacter had time to reset Rating (lowest) 1 and 10 Highest Entrance Theme Walking into the event...the front that is....is the giant mirror, yea it was cool but being that was the only thing that was used for themeing really left me bummed out so i give the Entrance a overall rating of a 3 out of 10, cause to be honest the whole concept is that you were stepping into mary's world when the only thing you were stepping into was a metal detector. They should of used the big white spinnig light used in asylum and use that when walking into the event ~Scarezones~ Path of the Wicked Since this mainly had to do with the wizard of OZ im guessing where was the fucked up version of Dorthy, i did like the atmosphere with the witch as well as the tin man but other than that i didnt spend much time here. The what was suppose to be flying monkeys, didnt look like flying monkeys at all. They could of done better there. Also the Area in my opinion was mis-used and could of been so much better. Detail 5 Scares 6 Originality 5 Overall 6 Asylum in Wonderland Where do i start? This has got to be by far the best scarezone ever. You can ask any of the people who worked it i spent more time there then anywhere else, The lighting Effects was just awesome and really made you feel like wow where am i, most of if not all the scareactors were really into there part i must of taken over 200 pictures of this area alone and you can tell from my signature from the bottom of this review that yea i was in the right place at the right time. Hats off to the Caterpillar Cast A, Bunny Cast A my 2 favorites! Detail 9 Scares 8 Originality 10 Overall 9 The Skoolhouse Again most of my time was spent here as well, i loved every aspect of this area right down to the cast change. If you have never seen the cast change in Skoolhouse then shame on you all the actors go into the bus and then the next cast will come thru the exit and start shaking the bus. After about a minute the lights come on and everyone in the bus is still making it look very freaky..i think all the scare acters in here were full of energy every time they go on Set. My two favorite SA were the bunny suit with the monkey mask and the bunny mask with the light brown dress Awesome job with the iron poll against the fence very good scare tactic. Detail 10 Scares 10 Originality 10 Overall 10 Fractured Tales i thought this scarezone had great detail with some of the S.A.'s costumes (Mary and her lamb, and jack and the candlestick) I did feel however that there wasnt much detail to the area when making giving it that feel. i know the theme was tales but i felt like it was scattered and i felt lost like nothing came together Detail 3 Scares 6 Originality 5 Overall 6 American Gothlic My Journey through American Gothlic was great the first time then when i went back i was let down so that hurt what i thought about it. When i went through the 2nd time about 70% of the scareacters were just sitting around and talking to one another i was like wtf...... Detail to the area was amazing and compact making it very hard to escape any scare(when they were actually scaring). maybe someone can correct me on this but what did this Scarezone have to do with Urban Legends as well as it didn't seem to fit with any house either. Detail 7 Scares 6 Originality 7 Overall 6 Streets of Blood now on to Streets of Blood, i really like how it made you feel like somewhere else, made it even better since it was 56 degrees out as well. Also many of the actors here were Anti photo but i did manage to snap a few, i think with a bit more fog would of made this area seem better then again is was breezy that night.......all in all Great Zone Detail 6 Scares 7 Originality 7 Overall 8 Chainsaws When i went through this area i only saw one chainsaw dude so umm yea cant really review something that didn't really exist when i went through so yea, i dont hink it was a cast change cause i was in that area for a bit on a couple of nights......Whats HHN without Chainsaws? This was a big letdown Detail 0 Scares 0 Originality 0 Overall 0 Zombies Ahh finally the last scarezone....although i didn't spend much time here either most if not all the actors here were really into it, the limpy walking, the facial expressions it really felt like they were zombies, wasn't my Favorite Scare zone but overall pretty good Detail 4 Scares 8 Originality 6 Overall 6 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~Houses~ Scary Tales This House was my Favorite right from the first scene to the Last, it had great Detail Great Actors and Great Originality Hats off to the ONLY person to ever scare me at HHN The Bear! I absolutely loved the scene with Alice chomping away at the bunny. This house was Very detailed right down to the Cinnamon smell in the oven room, again Awesome House Detail 10 Scares 10 Originality 10 Overall 10 The Hollow I didn't like this house at first but going though it numerous times it turned out to be OK, nothing really to say about it other than it had great smells and great potential scares but no one scared me while in the house. Also i dont know the point of the house cause i didnt get a chance to read the backstory Detail 5 Scares 5 Originality 6 Overall 5 Dead Exposure Everyone said this was the best house but i didnt see anything grand about it. the first scene was cool making you think ur in an office but the dude telling you to go go go go just got annoying, i think if they used a fast strobe lighting that the scares would of been better. Detail 6 Scares 8 Originality 6 Overall 6 Reflections of Fear wow where do i start....seriously this house blew! i felt like i was going through Mary's Vagina when going through the house with the inflatable part. Went through about 6 times 3 for cast A and 3 for Cast B, i think the video of the needles was the only thing that creeped me out the most and the electric chair scene was also really cool Detail 7 Scares 3 Originality 3 Overall 4 Doomsday UPDATE:11/10/08 I finally watched the movie and now understand the whole house,lol. I do think that the house could of been alot better but all in all pretty good Detail 6 Scares 8 Originality 6 Overall 7.0 Body Collectors This was the first body collectors that i have been through and i liked it very much it had great detail great atmosphere and great scares in it as well, Spine scene was my favorite overall. First scene made me think damn im not in UO anymore which really set the mood for what was soon to come Detail 8 Scares 9 Originality 9 Overall 9 Interstellar Terror Just like ST3 and Creatures this house made me feel like im on a spaceship and shit went wrong and idk if most people noticed, that after the spinning vortex that everything you saw after that was upside down, a really cool effect i liked was then it seemed you were about 100 feet in the air and the astronaut was spinning at the bottom, but overall cool house Detail 8 Scares 3 Originality 7 Overall 6 Creatures I enjoyed this house cause it made me feel like shit im in redneck ville, as for a scare factor i didn't get scared. Great Job to Bryan after observing how he does things.....walking through i felt bad for the poor creature who had a 2X4 for his Arm....poor guy and for those who say that there arent any creatures.....well your wrong cause there are plenty you just have to look Detail 10 Scares 7 Originality 10 Overall 8.5 Bill and Ted I loved he show when i went on Oct. 2nd and Oct. 29th but when i went for the final night for the final performance it was AMAZING and very emotional and i give credit to all those who were involved with the performance Great Job guys, awesome way to put a close to the HHN Season House's from Best to Worst 1. Chainsaws All in all this was the Best year EVER and im looking forward to hanging out with everyone next year im open to what evenone thinks about my review but please do not get on me because you think im wrong on things

i really want want a chuckie house, but i dont know if i would call it a classic.......as small as the people in the skoolhouse were im sure they could find people small enough to play as chuckie(shivers as he writes this).....lol
