I am sorry if my post was misconstrued in any way possible as anything other than defending that you all do exist and are in fact real people. The reality is that outside of this investigation I do not know you and hold no negative opinions for you and anything I said involving that was in the spirit of us being pit on opposing sides in the game and not personal at all. Sometimes my bluntness comes off wrong, and I am aware of this. and I do apologize if anything was said that made you uncomfortable or upset.
I would have responded back directly to Gerry on facebook instead of here, but she sent me a veiled threat and blocked me. I understand, she took a personal offense, but NONE was intended. As stated, I was just letting people know that you do exist as real people and not characters in the game. In hindsight i should have left it at that instead of dragging in game opinions into it.

Thank you Rob, I accept your apology. And I hope you'll keep this experience in mind in the future on these forums. I myself am obviously very transparent about my full name, as anyone can see from the link in my footer. But other members of my family (especially ones who are not even participating in this game) are not for good reason, and they do not appreciate their personal information being handed out without their permission. I'm sure you, other fans, and the moderators of this site can understand this. That being said, I would ask that if you have anything further to add to please send me a private message, so we can keep this thread on topic and keep things that are supposed to be private...private.

I'm half looking forward to going back in now. One thing that kinda surprised me in the conference call is when they speak of how (and to horribly paraphrase) 'One of the eight houses is going to have a comedic factor in it....And it's definetly not the one everyone seems to think it is.....sequel house' So wait....My home is not going to be tongue in cheek dark humor like I thought? Well crap. We're actually going to try something...interesting.
My money is on the Zombiegeddon maze for the camp house this year. But I am a little biased

I am not keeping up with the threads as I have other irons in the fire, but after decompiling the website .FLV last night one picture caught my eye.
It is for the Saws N steam zone. Looks to be a locomotive wheel. Will they be moving E.L.B.'s Train into N.Y. as a prop? Looks to me they will be.
I hope so! Even just to see Doc Brown's train get some much needed use, instead of tucked into a dark corner like last year.

From the page released, 5 of the icons are going to be used to call forth the demons described and symbolized by the glyphs on the recently completed design. Not exactly what you described, but I'm willing to say close enough.
Now judging from your tone and the ill-mannered things I've seen you write since, you may be surprised to read this. But I am perfectly happy to be proven incorrect. Like I've said before, we're all working towards the same goal. All I ask is for evidence to support the claim, not just a "I'm right, and your wrong because I said so". Which I don't think is uncalled for because that's not a debate. That's a dictatorship.
But even with that being so, I want to tell you good job. Your assumption was correct enough. And I hope that the gratification you feel from anticipating this part of the puzzle results in your side of the conversation finally turning civil.
Now...can we please move on?

Concession for what Mr. Rage? The fact that I was correct about there being no link between these symbols and the icons? Or maybe the Pandora's box effect that this lantern has, that you cannot claim as your own since many others have said before you? Or how about the all important blood stains on the new photos that differed from past years, that in the end did not result in anything but hot air. I'm very confused here.
But since I know from extensive experience that nothing I can say, no matter how sane and logical it is, will convince you that your pride has gotten in the way of this investigation once again, I will end this by asking everyone to just read through the pages of this forum for the official record that you can unfortunately not change to simply fit your arguments.
But perhaps I'm still completely wrong and there will be a clue revealed in the future written in ancient Sumerian and your assistance will prove invaluable. You are an expert in ancient languages, are you not?

We've both met our share of correct assumptions and dead ends during this years game. So please, end this here. Ok Rob, I hope you and your friends enjoy yourself. I'm sorry to see such segregation occur simply because I questioned your theory and you're refusal to engage in a healthy debate. That's very unfortunate and I must say that I expected more after hearing such great things about your skills during the investigation from 2 years ago.

doug, im throing this out there right now... but you are really really wrong and you are letting your dislike of me for being right cloud your judgement.
Just because I blocked you on FB due to the fact I find the way you speak to people abrasive, unpleasant, and unnecessarily argumentative doesn't mean that I don't like you personally. I have no opinion of you at all as a matter of fact, because I do not know you personally. Only as another mind working on this puzzle.
But that is besides point. Because if it is revealed that I am wrong about questioning your theory of whether or not the symbols on the design represent the icons, then I will gladly concede. All I'm asking, all that I've ever asked in fact, is for you to present the evidence that does in fact prove your theory. And I'm sorry, but dropping one of the six icons just to fit your theory of 5 symbols representing each just doesn't do that.
But I don't think any of this matters honestly because we will see very VERY soon what theories were correct and which were misguided. I just hope that if you're theory is proven incorrect, you'll conduct yourself appropriately.
We're all trying to get to the same place here, there's no need to take any aspect of this game personally Rob. You above all others should understand that.

ZombieDUG, I'm sorry but the way I read your post was that Horus's theory was wrong and we should discontinue that line of thought. If you are now stating that we should look at all theories then wouldn't his also be valid?
By looking at all theories, I meant to examine all the theories and supporting evidence and if something doesn't line up...then allow the freedom to move onto the next. Rob's theory does not yet line up and evidence is proving it incorrect. So we need to look at other theories.
In the end though I have a feeling that none of this matters though.
The design the symbols are making are just the trigger for something much bigger. A puzzle to distract us from the explosion that we'll be seeing very soon.
we now have 5 icons at the pinnacle of each blade of the image.. and symbols that represent them each...
but i MUST be wrong doug... obviously
6 icons, 5 symbols. But we'll see in a couple days rob. Or maybe even in a few hours.

Also, the images of the icons in the flames are much less subjective than you think.
This is also an unsupported claim. Even though we're only a month + away from the event, we do not know for sure that BM will make an appearance or not. This might all change in just a couple days, but as of right now we need to question everything.
And I think anyone going back to look at the faces on the flames for themselves, like I have, will agree that they're very abstract and really don't look like the facial features of past icons. Hince why this theory was never confirmed, but rather remained just a cool idea.

Ok, it looks like it's necessary for me to reiterate myself. "the icons appearing in the flames was subjective evidence at best." Icons appearing in the flames were never proven. And by saying BM wasn't in those flames, well that not only doesn't prove my point incorrect it also shows that you missed the point I was making.
There are six icons in total. That's not an opinion, that's a matter of public record. Ergo, we should expect 6 segments on the symbol corresponding to each of the six icon. But that is not the case, there are 5.
So how is it out of the question to suggest we look into alternate theories and accept the possibility that the recent evidence is concluding that your initial idea is incorrect?

ummmm rob...there are 6 icons in total. That was my point. Jack, the Caretaker, the Director, the Storyteller, BM and the Usher. Don't you think that calls your theory into question, even just a little bit? Plus the icons appearing in the flames was subjective evidence at best. Keep an open mind man. The symbols are symbols of certain beings, representing their incarnations. Dieties/gods/demigods whatever....
Jack = Chaos
Caretaker = Death etc etc etc...

After looking over the recent work done with the new images by a few investigators on FB today, the pattern seems to contain only 5 sections. Which doesn't support the "each symbol represents an icon" theory.
It's looking like it might be a good idea to go back to the drawing board on the true meanings of these symbols.

right right. And I'm on to the director's photo now. And the closest thing I'm getting is the....thing, near his left hand, which reminds me of a shepards staff. the handle, with the curved top.
Interesting. Another thing that comes to mind is that the Caretaker is also seen at the end of a promo video on HHN swinging a bladed weapon at the camera. But this train of thought is also predicated on the theory that these symbols represent the icons, so we might be getting a little ahead of ourselves until we definitively prove that to be true. What evidence do we have so far to support this idea?
The six quadrants, and the reference to South American "carnivals of madness" which obviously makes you think of the Carnival of Carnage. But what else?
I think we need to prove this first before getting too far down the line. This was the mistake of a few investigators last time when people were convinced that there we meaningful differences between user archived HHN photos from past events and the scorched images. Which caused them to ignore what was right in front of their eyes, and led them ultimately to a dead-end despite the evidence others were pointing out.
So what jumps out to everyone?

If there are 6/7....that leaves Usher, Storyteller, Director, Cindy, and Eddie... or not cindy and eddie, and just the New Big Bad
If you look at what has been revealed of the pattern so far, and given the size of the pattern as a whole and there size of each individual quadrant, there will be 6 symbols in total.

Yes, they are in fact the same things (told you kids its not crosshairs... when it comes to the esoteric, trust the one who does gematria of every name just to see how it fits)

Sorry to add so LITTLE to the awesome work already done, but I think whatever the final symbol is, we might need to look at it from this angle:
I expect the next photos to fill out the right-hand side, with another of these crosses.
These forms of crosses are usually rotated at 90 degree increments like I noted above. So in my opinion this is a marker for just that, orientation. So your angle is probably a few degrees off. But we'll see once jmorri gets more pictures and she solves the puzzle!

Sounds like its probably just marketing and art direction to me. Anyone else agree this is probably the only reason for the added blood and compositional alterations? More ground just seems be being gained on the changing burn marks theory than any other right now.

Yep, you are correct. In fact the solar cross was used by many prehistoric cultures. However it was the Pagan Celts who were first recorded using it in human sacrifices and who gave it a similar religious significance to what we're familiar with today. The Pagan Celtic Cross is also the form that was later used by the modern offshoot sects of Satanists like I mentioned in my post. Hence why I figured it should be differentiated from your generic solar cross.
By the way, how are investigators fairing by digging through the archives looking for discrepancies between original photos and the ones with the burn marks? Everyone has been very quiet about this theory lately. Has it yielded any interesting evidence yet? Would love to see some!

I put this on the LT facebook page but I think we're going about it wrong lining them up vertical and horizontal. All are different sizes. I shrunk down the larger ones and treated it like a scattered pile of photos. I think we're missing some still but these I matched work for every layer of overlap.
You are RIGHT ON with this arrangement. Much closer than anyone else so far. Can't wait to see it fill in some more once we get the other pieces promised by IH and the Senior Staff.

I don't think it's a "solar cross" or even cross hairs like it's been suggested before. I think we're looking at a Pagan Celtic Cross. Which is always orientated by 90 degree increments.
It should be noted too that the Pagan Celts did have a ritual, later adopted by Satanists, that involved sacrificial...burning.
What does everyone else think?
