Thank you Rob, I accept your apology. And I hope you'll keep this experience in mind in the future on these forums. I myself am obviously very transparent about my full name, as anyone can see from the link in my footer. But other members of my family (especially ones who are not even participating in this game) are not for good reason, and they do not appreciate their personal information being handed out without their permission. From the page released, 5 of the icons are going to be used to call forth the demons described and symbolized by the glyphs on the recently completed design. Not exactly what you described, but I'm willing to say close enough. Now judging from your tone and the ill-mannered things I've seen you write since, you may be surprised to read this. But I am perfectly happy to be proven incorrect. Like I've said before, we're all working towards the same goal. All I ask is for evidence to support the claim, not just a "I'm right, and your wrong because I said so". Which I don't think is uncalled for because that's not a debate. That's a dictatorship. Concession for what Mr. Rage? The fact that I was correct about there being no link between these symbols and the icons? Or maybe the Pandora's box effect that this lantern has, that you cannot claim as your own since many others have said before you? Or how about the all important blood stains on the new photos that differed from past years, that in the end did not result in anything but hot air. I'm very confused here. But since I know from extensive experience that nothing I can say, no matter how sane and logical it is, will convince you that your pride has gotten in the way of this investigation once again, I will end this by asking everyone to just read through the pages of this forum for the official record that you can unfortunately not change to simply fit your arguments. But perhaps I'm still completely wrong and there will be a clue revealed in the future written in ancient Sumerian and your assistance will prove invaluable. Just because I blocked you on FB due to the fact I find the way you speak to people abrasive, unpleasant, and unnecessarily argumentative doesn't mean that I don't like you personally. I have no opinion of you at all as a matter of fact, because I do not know you personally. Only as another mind working on this puzzle. But that is besides point. Because if it is revealed that I am wrong about questioning your theory of whether or not the symbols on the design represent the icons, then I will gladly concede. All I'm asking, all that I've ever asked in fact, is for you to present the evidence that does in fact prove your theory. And I'm sorry, but dropping one of the six icons just to fit your theory of 5 symbols representing each just doesn't do that. But I don't think any of this matters honestly because we will see very VERY soon what theories were correct and which were misguided. I just hope that if you're theory is proven incorrect, you'll conduct yourself appropriately. By looking at all theories, I meant to examine all the theories and supporting evidence and if something doesn't line up...then allow the freedom to move onto the next. Rob's theory does not yet line up and evidence is proving it incorrect. So we need to look at other theories. In the end though I have a feeling that none of this matters though. The design the symbols are making are just the trigger for something much bigger. A puzzle to distract us from the explosion that we'll be seeing very soon. 6 icons, 5 symbols. But we'll see in a couple days rob. Or maybe even in a few hours.

This is also an unsupported claim. Even though we're only a month + away from the event, we do not know for sure that BM will make an appearance or not. This might all change in just a couple days, but as of right now we need to question everything. And I think anyone going back to look at the faces on the flames for themselves, like I have, will agree that they're very abstract and really don't look like the facial features of past icons. Hince why this theory was never confirmed, but rather remained just a cool idea.

And by saying BM wasn't in those flames, well that not only doesn't prove my point incorrect it also shows that you missed the point I was making. There are six icons in total. That's not an opinion, that's a matter of public record. Ergo, we should expect 6 segments on the symbol corresponding to each of the six icon. But that is not the case, there are 5. So how is it out of the question to suggest we look into alternate theories and accept the possibility that the recent evidence is concluding that your initial idea is incorrect? After looking over the recent work done with the new images by a few investigators on FB today, the pattern seems to contain only 5 sections. Which doesn't support the "each symbol represents an icon" theory. It's looking like it might be a good idea to go back to the drawing board on the true meanings of these symbols.

Interesting. Another thing that comes to mind is that the Caretaker is also seen at the end of a promo video on HHN swinging a bladed weapon at the camera. But this train of thought is also predicated on the theory that these symbols represent the icons, so we might be getting a little ahead of ourselves until we definitively prove that to be true. What evidence do we have so far to support this idea? The six quadrants, and the reference to South American "carnivals of madness" which obviously makes you think of the Carnival of Carnage. But what else? I think we need to prove this first before getting too far down the line. This was the mistake of a few investigators last time when people were convinced that there we meaningful differences between user archived HHN photos from past events and the scorched images. Which caused them to ignore what was right in front of their eyes, and led them ultimately to a dead-end despite the evidence others were pointing out. So what jumps out to everyone?

These forms of crosses are usually rotated at 90 degree increments like I noted above. So in my opinion this is a marker for just that, orientation. So your angle is probably a few degrees off. But we'll see once jmorri gets more pictures and she solves the puzzle!

Sounds like its probably just marketing and art direction to me. Anyone else agree this is probably the only reason for the added blood and compositional alterations? More ground just seems be being gained on the changing burn marks theory than any other right now.

Yep, you are correct. In fact the solar cross was used by many prehistoric cultures. However it was the Pagan Celts who were first recorded using it in human sacrifices and who gave it a similar religious significance to what we're familiar with today. The Pagan Celtic Cross is also the form that was later used by the modern offshoot sects of Satanists like I mentioned in my post. Hence why I figured it should be differentiated from your generic solar cross. By the way, how are investigators fairing by digging through the archives looking for discrepancies between original photos and the ones with the burn marks? Everyone has been very quiet about this theory lately. Has it yielded any interesting evidence yet? Would love to see some!

Does this symbol look familiar to anyone? I don't think it's a "solar cross" or even cross hairs like it's been suggested before. I think we're looking at a Pagan Celtic Cross. Which is always orientated by 90 degree increments. It should be noted too that the Pagan Celts did have a ritual, later adopted by Satanists, that involved sacrificial...burning.
