“I look at life like a carnival. Clowns are supposed to be happy, but they are really scary.
Carnivals are supposed to be fun, but really they are kind of creepy. But, we go and we buy
cotton candy and we force our laughter and we get on rides and we strap ourselves in and we do it.
And that’s like life to me, and love. Love is supposed to be fun, but it can sometimes be really
scary. And the funhouse mirrors that make you look so distorted that you don’t recognize
yourself and you ask yourself, ‘How did I get here? How do I get out of here?’ But, you
think that you want to do it again. That is the same as love and life.
It’s a metaphor for being in love and for life." -P!nk

You know if you have a fog machine and a real good imagination you can go to Halloween Horror Nights anytime you want...
I got out some of my fog machines today aswell...

You put a serious amount of effort into this! Just like MahB said, I was a bit skeptical. But this could, for sure, be the dark humor house at Horror Nights.
Well done.

Well... I'm back!!!
It was a bit sad to leave camp, but I'm enjoying being home...

The body's bounty is blood, and Gods Own County can refer to New Zeland, Yorkshire or the American South...
I feel this is a hint to Jaws....
what takes your blood....
I noticed that your post said "I feel this is a hint to diaster...."
Did you make a typo?

Here is my list of returning house/scarezones that I would like to see...
Ghost Town – After hearing a lot of people comments on how great this house was, I would love to see it again in person.
Leave it to Cleaver – Sting Alley. That is all that want.
Scary Tales – I did a home-haunt based off of it, and just can’t get enough. But due to the fact of already having three houses, it could maybe go on to darker (and lesser-known) tales by the Grimm Brothers.
The Hallow – Like Scary Tales I will do a home-haunt based off of it. I deeply love a true Halloween theme, but instead of just The Hallow returning, I’d love to see a whole year based on traditional Halloween. Pretty, pretty please A&D...
Catacombs – With such a fan following, it’s just a matter of time before it shows back up. We could possibly be walking through the streets of Paris and venturing through new locations instead of being stuck underground.
Saws N’ Steam – Turned into a house, a lot can be done.
The Thing – I having a feeling it could return this year. It seems like a very interesting concept, so I’d like to have it return. Hopefully, I will get soundstage or parade warehouse. (Although, B-79 is seeming to get pretty spicy, not Arctic cold).
Dead Exposure – It doesn’t have to happen with zombies again, but I’d love to see that high-anxiety feel return for a future house.
HHN 2008 – Please happen again.
I absolutely love seeing fresh, new ideas that A&D can brew up, but am in no way against repeats. I think having one (or maybe even two) repeats per year is great. As longs as they change it into a new experience while it still being a familiar theme... I’m all for it!

So, I was thinking about the back story and premise possibilities if there is to be a male/female duo as icons. The first thing I thought of was killers or what have you that took advantage of Black Tuesday and the Great Depression to entice people to wager their lives for monetary security. But wasn't the back story for the LT house last year was that the couple or husband murdered everyone at their party on Black Tuesday? Do you guys think that if there is to be a duo this year that their story would be based off the Depression era? Or maybe during the 20's this possible couple was so disgusted with the consumer culture and lust for money that decided to kill people?
I'm just tossing ideas out there to see if any stick or even sound remotely possible.
That's actually very good thinking.
While I should assume nothing for this year (due to the fact it's just too early), I think you are quite clever to think that up.

Old huh? I remember cassette drives and floppy disks... that looked like this:
And when VHS didn't exist...
That reminded me of something my 6th grade French teacher made for his students.
Right now, I'm holding all my pens in it.

That reminds me. Which version of the map do y'all prefer more? There are the type of maps where the logos/names are at the locations, or there was the XX one with just the lantern and a number (with the logo off to the side). (I prefer the the 09, 08, version, much much more than the XX version.)
