This is totally off-topic but this scene creeped me out and for some reason I think it'll perfect in a maze...
I think you just gave me an idea for my home-haunt.
It could work pretty well... Thanks!
To keep this post from getting removed.... I want Trick 'r Treat!

If you look here Nightmares was very kind to host my review of the Display.
I definitely recommend it.
Thanks for the photos, Jeramy! They were great!

And I know how you feel about the transfer from Knotts to Uni.
I went to Knotts for 7 years before going to Uni and it was clear - - Uni was by far the superior Haunt and it was only a year old at that point, post-hiatus.
I even felt like I was having an affair at one point because my love for Knotts was so strong.
In 08, I finally got a "divorce" from Haunt and tied the knot with Uni... but every now and then, I visit her for a little old time's sake...
Luckily, Uni doesn't mind
That made my day...
Hey... I'm a Gaga fan.

Thanks for the review! It was very thorough and well-worded. You touched on some good points... and I agree with many of the things you brought up.
I enjoyed reading it!

This looks extremely interesting... and very worth visiting! Since it's open for so long, I might will visit it during spring break. But, as always, I won't be able to attend the days A&D will be at the exhibit due to the dates.
Anyways, this drawing caught my eye. I remember someone mentioning that 7 was cut short due to budget cuts. If so, I was wondering if that drawing was going to be the original costume for Envy? I also read from a photo of Wrath's costume (identified as Anger by A&D), that her costume contained an origami patter. Hearing that, and remembering the rumor of the Chinese scarezone on Hollywood Boulevard sure raises an eyebrow.
Intriguing stuff, that's for sure! I can't wait to go visit it!

Even though you wouldn't be able to bring one of them into the parks, I could use a couple for my haunt.
If anyone actually knows how to purchase one of these poppers (Uncle Sam Wants You / Waterfall) or sticks (Lady Luck Minions / Thankskilling), it would be much appreciated.

Very well done review. I loved the visuals!

That video is beyond amazing!

An HHN DVD for each year would be very nice indeed. Universal listened to us about the Hoodies so maybe just maybe they will listen to us about making a DVD for the event each year...
Don't forget the coffee table book...

Just wondering if there will be a Photo contest this year ???
like the last 3 years....
I kinda want to promote your post.
Anyone know I this will happen again? I would love to see it back!

To continue this trend...
My family and I just had a wonderful dinner at Hoston's.

I'm just glad they posted house videos. I loved those!
I didn't like it when they were strict on no filming in the house, and then come the end of the event there's hardly any media of the houses at all.
However, now with the house videos on the website... I'm fine with the film restrictions.

I love this!!!
I miss this house...

Thanks for creating another great poll, Fallow!
Here are my favorite rooms of the bunch:
Distant Cemetery (extremely scary if you get the scare / consistently used / actors did quite well / wonderful design)
Hall of Crypts (pretty basic scares / the amount of boo-holes makes it ideal for repeat viewings / I always saw the actors running behind the crypts juicing as much scares out of the area as possible / I though the design was a bit unimpressive... yet accurate)
Get Lucked (pretty good distration scare... that's what type of scare it is, right? / this room was quite fun to go through multiple times due to the set design and seeing the leprechauns running around the room / I put this room on my list mainly due to the fact that the actors were always running around attempting to scare guests / I adored the set and lighting design of this room)
The Raven Hall (effective ping-pong scares / I always got multiple good scares every time though due to the intensity of the scare / actors were always in your face and scaring / I thought the set design was fairly ugly to tell you the truth)
Winged Demons (greatly scary due to the black lights and pitch blackness / I always got scares each time I passed them due to the fact that you really had no way of knowing when they would pop out / the actors utilized their space very, very well / not much set design due to the nature of the house)
Chapel (terrifying scare in the stained glass area right before the chapel itself, mainly due to the audio AAT / Even though I knew exactly where the actor would pop out, I always got scared each time through due to the sharpness of the actor’s movements and loud audio / the actors’ sharp movements were very effective / I though the pre-room area and the chapel itself look gorgeous)
Tilted Ship (due to the placing of scares, I got a few good scares in here / always a fun room to go through multiple times due to the slanted flooring / actors always utilized the disoriented guests and the hammocks to weave in-between / magnificent set design... loved the details and realistic setting)
Into the Fog (beyond effective scares / unfortunately, I only saw the effect once / the actors used their area exceptionally well... especially when they ping-ponged / not much to the set design that I can remember)
Honorable Mention (Due solely to set design):
*Winter's Nights Facacade
*Thing Facade
*Uncle Sam Wants You
*Laser Room
*Courtyard
*Waterfall

Those are some really great ideas, guys! I especially loved yours, AsylumSB.
Due to the fact that I'm not a judge, am I still able to vote in the poll?
