It is odd. It's even stranger that The Harvest is only included on the house shirt and not in any of the scarezone merch.
It's also worth noting that Universal is getting into the interactive RFID technology like Disney's Glow With the Show merch a few years back.
"Halloween Horror Nights™ 2018 The Amulet of Fear Lanyard:
For the first time ever, become a part of the terrifying experience with our interactive Halloween Horror Nights lanyard - The Amulet of Fear. This must-have skull amulet glows and vibrates with different patterns throughout the night. Keep an eye out for the jack-o-lantern icons throughout the streets of Universal Studios™, as this symbolizes when the amulet will react. Lanyard design features two-sided reversible print and breakaway closure."

So it looks like every section of the Harvest will be a different IP. Obviously the Trick 'r Treat section has Sam's fire pumpkin and the school bus door but the Halloween section is a little less obvious, beside the Haddonfield sign of course. The white sign is from the "Ridgemont Federal Sanitarium" and the mail box is from the opening credits of the movie.

ICYMI:
Contest starts on Monday
This year we've decided to play a small game.
We hope the competition is anything but tame.
To win each bracket will be a small test,
To see which evil is truly the best.
The winner will be crowned Most Anticipated this year,
With hopes that it'll leave you shaking in fear. How to play: Each day go to Twitter or Facebook and vote in that day's poll. The winner will move onto the next round and live to fight another day.
Now we want to truly see what everyone is most excited for at HHN28 so be sure to spread the word because as Tangina would say...

Also, I've heard rumor that Harry Potter may be closed during HHN this year. Is there any validity to that?
As of right now it'll be open for the event.

@TimothyJ If you're going to parks during the day then I would suggest doing Stay & Scream and doing 2 nights without Express. You'll probably get everything done that way but understand you WILL have to wait in very long lines at some point in the night. If no Stay & Scream then Express for one night for sure. Unfortunately you can't have it both ways and you'll either have to pay the big bucks to skip the lines and guarantee getting everything done or save some money to wait in longer lines and probably not see everything. Ultimately what's more important to you?

So if anyone was doubting those Poltergeist rumors, take a look at some of the latest construction photos from Hollywood. That house looks a little familiar...

So here's a thought.
We're supposedly getting a Wizard of OZ based house. The last time we had OZ at the event was Path of the Wicked in 2008 when The Wicked Witch of the West had done away with Dorothy and seized control of the merry old land of OZ for herself. Is it just a coincidence that we're supposed to have OZ returning to the event again exactly 10 years later? What if we're returning to OZ 10 years after when the scarezone took place and seeing what's happened to it's inhabitants since we last saw them.
Just saying...

I can 100% confirm that the Charlie referenced in the postcards IS the same Charlie McPherson that was later featured in the original Dead Exposure house. After doing some digging I found an old photo from HHN 18 of the Dead Exposure facade and SURPRISE, Charlie's address is the same address the postcards were sent to! 1192 E. Findlay St, Carey, OH. And just in case you were wondering, yes it's a real address and it's an old farm house.

One of the things that they mentioned was the Train Accident, which made me think about Havoc 2 - since they was such an integral part of the story.
But since that took place in Amsterdam, is that too far a stretch to assume that we will see the train car again?
It's a stretch. From what I understand we will play the part of Emily in the house. So everything we experience, she had to have experienced at some point.

What if there's things to spec about in the postcards?
Charlie was born 11/26/1918. He was Agana's first victim to die from immersion therapy on 7/22/58. He was 39 years old.
I cant seem to find a clear image of the press pass from the facade to verify the house story and the patient story match up.
Actually the Charlie McPherson from Dead Exposure was born on 10/20/1980 and died 6/24/2005 (?) so I'm pretty sure they are related.
