I complained about the lack of interactive features as well. However the event hasn't started yet so I'm still holding out for some new interactive updates.

What does that banner say that's hanging on the Hollywood truss? I'm glad to see they're using their Mardi GRAS decoration and saving some money. Green is Universal. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

Most of the HHN props are kept in the sprung tents and the Parade Warehouse. Most of the bigger items are usually destroyed or made into other things.

So do we know which is the biggest house this year? Many have said that since some of the Mardi Gras Parade floats will be used in Zombie Gras that there is extra room in which the Horror Nights the Hallow'd Past house can use. I personally hope it's a HUGE house, after all, the past 19 years of HHN deserves to be featured in a big way.

I'm not sure what exactly you asking but I only see the 5 main icons. Darkness is not in the picture.

So is the street construction going in the order of rehearsals or is it just random? If it is in order then what is the order that the streets rehearse in.

I want to see construction start on the Saws n' Steam scarezone because I have no idea what they are going to do to achieve the steampunk look in New York. The rest you can kind of guess about but I seriously have no idea about Saws n' Steam.

I think this billboard looks better in the day. At least you can clearly read it during the day. They should of had the HHN XX light up at night or something. I still think 2008 had the best billboards with Bloody Mary and the mirror.

I like Brushwood but not necessarily his shows. They're good the first few times but then they get a little old. My dream year would have 4 shows: Bill &Ted, Rocky Horror, Brushwood, and a Arrival type show.

Well I wonder who it could be? But yeah, I was surprised too when he said that about the Catacombs. I was only expecting to see skeleton mummy things inside.

You can clearly see the hooks on the wooden poles for hanging something in between them which could very well be for hanging strings of lights. However, they could also be for hanging some Mexican paper banners (which could also be black light reactive). Something like these:

Last night on the Brian Brushwood show he was interviewing Patrick from Universal Creative. He said 2 things that peaked my interest. The first was when he was talking about the Catacombs he said we are "going to see a character we have never seen before" and then he started smiling. The second thing was about the Legendary Truth house and him specifically mentioning seeing ghosts "walk through walls." He said a bunch of other cool little hints and tidbits but those 2 stood out the most to me.

I'm just surprised they're putting up voodoo looking skeletons up now with RTU coming up in a couple weeks. Don't get me wrong, I cold care less, but I thought they had a little controversy a few years back with some of the more fanatical RTU attendees.
