  1. You've misinterpreted Dr. Jimmy's clue. He was trying to be clever by using an AC reference for this clue, since AC is a confirmed house. However, like everyone else has said, we're looking at traditional Halloween. Not an Alice Cooper themed zone. Also: Remember that Dr. Jimmy never makes his clues obvious. Using arguably one of Alice Cooper's most recognizable songs for a hint would be far too easy. You have to delve deeper to get to the true meaning. And in this case, it's regarding the second half of his clue.
  2. If what I've heard is true, you might be very happy. Somehow doubt you'll get candy at the end, though.
  3. You took his hint in the wrong direction, but I must say I applaud the way you connected all of those!
  4. Ugh. Typed out a response to this and lost it. Let me try again. I have heard nothing about a zone or homebase in Production Central. I still think there will be actors in the front of the park, but I think they'll be on the Lucy side of the entrance. The Despicable Me facade/ride entrance is quite dominant - the ride attendants are practically standing in the street. The old entrance for the ride was pretty non-descript, but Gru's house is large and creates a bit of a cluster there on a daily basis. Plus, the walls are all decorated with Minions, so I don't see them adding any projections there as in previous years. I think they'll direct traffic to the right to see the actors there and leave the area between Despicable Me and Shrek more open. Barbarra and Neutron did not have the same presence that Despicable has on the front of the park. Also not sure how Illumination Entertainment would feel about seeing pictures of scareactors with Minions in the background. On a separate note, could we all refrain from jumping on the bandwagon regarding the "god" complex talk? It's equally frustrating to read both sides arguing. It happens every year, I know, but it doesn't make it any easier to read! Now you're dreaming a bit too big. Scale it down just a bit =)
  5. I don't think Production Central will be used this year, since Despicable Me will be open for HHN. With such a new attraction operational there, I think they'll leave the space open.
  6. Well, I took the leap.

  7. Well, all this scarezone talk has finally pushed me to break my silence and actually respond! Hello again, all. I fully expect we'll see scareactors in both Hollywood and NY. I don't think anyone is suggesting that they'll be empty. The point is that these streets will require as minimal decorations as possible to accommodate the Parade. The Parade is their baby right now, and it's not going anywhere. As others have said, the Parade is massive and there will be NO room for props during the day. I'm sure there will be lights and fog, as always. But, if you have roaming hordes of scareactors, why do you need sets or projections? The projections and sets might only fit a particular group's story, and then if a different horde is in the area, this wouldn't make sense. So if we're truly having roaming hordes this year, logic serves that our only decoration will be fog and lighting. Nothing else is necessary. And that's what it comes down to, folks. They will do what's necessary. Going out of their way to spend the 45 minutes between park closing and HHN to set up projector stands or temporary sets just isn't necessary. Zones can be effective without sets, even though we all love and have come to expect them. Legacy has said it's time to think out of the box, and I agree. It's time to change some expectations, and think of the potential roaming hordes could present for a "new" experience. Just - do so realistically. I, for one, am excited about the prospect of returning to the roots of HHN, like the first time I visited in 2001. Street decorations were minimal, but the fog was immense and all that was needed to scare me. Amity with clowns in it? Terrifying.
  8. Makes me laugh that you put "me in the middle," but I guess Charles and Alli are only semi-famous. Still made me LOL!
  9. Yep, exactly. Legacy has plans to scope out the house during the Employee Preview night to let other military/veterans know if they should enter or not. This one might be a little too realistic for anyone who has had that type of training.
  10. Legacy is in the military. So even though he hasn't seen combat, he has been trained to react in a certain way to combat situations. He's nervous about this house not only for veterans, but for active duty military as well.
  11. No, but stuffed Sharks are allowed! =P
  12. Yep. Definitely something more to come, although it may be something different than what we're expecting.
  13. I believe that's supposed to be Purple - I think this will be the uglier side of our Nurses in WWI.
  14. This is just nitpicking at this point, but I believe you have the Thing and WWI flip flopped. 23A queue is at Twister.
  15. I suppose it's time to do another one of these: Sprung 1 - Demon house. Rumored to be in 3D. Sprung 2 - Edgar Allan Poe. House name rumored to be Nevermore: the Madness of Poe Parade - Columbus House. No pirates. SS22 - The Cemetery House. Possibly featuring Lady Elizabeth Hawthorn. I do not believe she is Lady Luck. SS23A - The Thing SS23B - WWI house, featuring a female cast of "nurses" who may be more than what they seem. Disaster - Late Night Horror Hosts meet Holidays. JAWS - Jaws n Steam. Or Saws n Steam. Whichever you prefer.
  16. Choirs sing! YES. THIS. THANK YOU! Hahaha. I would hope that Lady Luck's reveal wasn't a shock to anyone who has followed this spec. We've known about her for months now!
  17. Jeramy already explained the falacy in this thought earlier today, but I assume most skipped right over it: That type of chain did not exist in 1504. I would hope A&D would have the foresight not to use modern chains in a historical house.
  18. I thought the same thing, actually. I think they might have chosen the titles purposely for their publication year and subject matter. For Frankenstein, I was thinking SnS, since many of the props from the '09 house were reused in the SnS scarezone. Plus, this house seems to have an "experimental" prequel feel. Science gone wrong!
  19. No extreme house this year it seems. Maybe next year!
  20. We're at 7 for the moment. Still waiting for one more game for the Thing.
  21. The Baltimore poster is actually incredibly specific regarding Poe. He returned to Baltimore in March 1831. If there was any question, these posters absolutely point to Poe.
  22. Just keep in mind we've received two pictures from the same room (which happens to be the one that's easiest to spot from the Disaster line). Although I do think this will fit the tone of HFTH as the humor house, this will likely be the only room with a Christmas theme. But... yes, definitely expecting this to be our dark humor house.
  23. Yes - this is the point I was trying to make. Make-shift structures being used as medical buildings. Not a clean and crisp "hospital."
  24. I may be completely wrong on this one, but from everything we've seen, I wouldn't bank on a "hospital" house. I think this will have a war setting. Maybe make-shift structures being used as medical buildings, but I'm not expecting to see an actual hospital. But - this is just based on the game and the "WWI" theme. I could be wrong.
  25. This post was awesome! Even if it didn't really change what Dr. Jimmy posted regarding our house, it certainly was an interesting read! Thanks!
