No speculation really but I would like a chainsaw scarezone replaced with another Killer Klowns zone.

The first night on a Thursday is such a bummer.

Actually to be honest you can't live in the Universal parking garage, they kick you out at 3am. As someone who has lived in a van I can confirm this.

I decided to not renew my Disney Florida Resident pass so I can book a RIP tour this year. I've been on Haunted Mansion at least 40 times this year, I need a break.

Or just live in a van in the parking garage!

I thought the 28 had an 80s theme because of Vamp 85 (my favorite HHN-related thing ever). 29 being 80s theme made no sense to me other than there happened to be two houses set in the 80s and some neon lights in a scare zone. No 80s music, no 80s theme overall.

Just checking out some HHN stuff today!

That HHN food looks so gross!!

A repeat of the scare zones from last year.
-
I spent this season with different online groups and basically ran out of "social media" time when it came to this one an IU. The Facebook groups are useless and I will mute them next year.
-
I stop listening to any HHN podcast where the hosts struggle to remember simple trivia like what the houses were last year or what the names of this year's scare zone are. Just write them down if you're making a podcast!

Vamp 85 was an anchor for me last year. No matter where I was going I'd cut through Killer Klowns then Vamp for a good time. Now I avoid parts of the park because they are too packed (Hellbilly) or just boring (Zombieland).

This year just seemed so off to me. I waited all year for this and I've gone 12 times, it's just so lacking.

I haven't had a lot to say because my last trips have been hit and miss. Great year, not quite a good as last year. The lagoon show is a must-watch.

Me too!
Another Easter Egg I found is, in the queue line video for 'Graveyard Games' (The one where you see the Facebook comment feeds for the idiot teens and others), there are references made to at least two of the fake B- Movies seen in last year's 'Slaughter Sinema.'
And a reference to Carey, Ohio.

Wow speculation is starting early this year!!

I think the acting is close enough for me.

I want 12 houses! Get on it Universal!

The part in the hallway where the candles get blown out is very scary in my opinion.

To me, RBHD is the only zone I’ve walked straight through without stopping, and I’ve only done that once. I’ve even stopped around Anar-cade. What do you think is fun here?
(also: Vanity Ball’s shows are really fun if you haven’t seen them!! It may not be “scary,” but a nurse jumpscared me so bad that I literally jumped; my feet left the ground.)
I like to IRONICALLY enjoy the music and everyone seems to be having a good time.

What would you consider the "proper area"? I'm going in early October and will only have two nights. If I take the time to see this instead of going through a house or people watching in the zones I would like to know how to best experience it.
Across from Mel's Die-In there's a big viewing area roped off. You'll know it when you see it!

Blood Pit might have been good, but I wouldn’t know; I don’t think I’m a scareactor’s perfect target anymore, especially because a guy I met that was part of a group last night was a stereotypical dudebro, so I missed a lot of scares. The smell of death or whatever it was that they were trying to present just stunk and made the house feel gross enough to keep my mind off of the setting.
I’ll give Klowns another shot, just to see what happens. I do remember someone pointing out that the plywood is what makes everything so loud, so I guess I can think about that. Could you give me a little layout of the rooms so I’d know what to look for? Someone mentioned key props and to be honest I don’t remember them inside the ship. I’m just hoping that I had a bad run last time and that KKfOS isn’t the sesnsory nightmare I experienced on opening night.
I went in a group of two girls and we assumed a train position for each house. The taller of the two in front of me with my arms around her, and the smaller one behind me holding on to my back pack with her eyes mostly closed. I have been to HHN nearly 20 times and last night my group got hammered harder than I have ever experienced. We had a giant bull's eye on us the whole night.
The Klownzilla wasn't moving and the big red nose was broken off last night around 8pm when we went though it along with a LOT of missing scare actors.

I avoided the scarezones so much I didn't even see the doctor parts.

I went through this house around 12:30 tonight and the actors had my group pinned quite a few times. I like how tight the maze it, there's no place to run to.

Marketing has never worked on me, which is why I live in a hole in the ground with a potato sack for clothing.
