  1. Here's something: I was just looking through the official HHN Orlando Instagram page and realized that it's following the official Fantastic Beasts page. Does that say something? Or just Universal properties following other Universal-related properties? My thoughts on this meaning anything WOULD be quelled by the fact that HHN also follows Fast & Furious, but F&F is a ride, and a more than likely cue/house location in the coming years for Horror Nights, but I feel like there's no current connection to Fantastic Beasts? IMO some parts of Fantastic Beasts could be stellar for a house or something if it's properly scary.
  2. Counterprediction: HHN expands to City Walk and Breadbox becomes Bird Box
  3. Relationship with Netflix means a relatively endless pool of Netflix original IP's. This could bring to light a lot of relatively unknown Netflix originals that deserve the spotlight. I am completely and perfectly fine with this.
  4. Ehhhhhhhhhhhh. I wouldn't mind if it was properly spooky. I just feel like House With A Clock In Its Walls is a way more kid-focused property than Stranger Things.
  5. 29 definitely has all odds stacked against it. It's right after what was one of the best and most ambitious years of the event, and is right before the 30 year anniversary which is obviously what they will be funelling a lot of creative energy into even before 29 has begun, so I wouldn't be surprised if 29 was a tad weaker than other years due to the creative team wanting to play it safe. But, even if Horror Nights is played safe this year there are a lot of IPs that could make for bangers. ST2 is pretty much bound to happen, but it's not like it's a bad thing. And Revenge of Chucky and/or Killer Klownz are extremely likely to get the "Trick R' Treatment" as well. Again, I don't mind this either if it's done well. And with an earlier start date, I feel like the 11-12 houses rumor also completely makes sense. Maybe I'm being a bit too optimistic, but something tells me 29 may be pretty good even if there are repeated themes from last year.
  6. Aiello seems to be quite into video games from what I can see from twitter. Maybe Red Dead Redemption 2 will inspire him to bringing back Lightning Gulch next year or 30 as a house or scare zone? Now that I think about it, a Lightning Gulch scare zone would be fantastic.
  7. With how lucrative and friendly Universal and Nintendo's relationship has and will be, an HHN house with a Nintendo theme honestly makes sense. Especially since they've ditched their kid-centered audience since they know they most appeal to young adults lol. A Majora's Mask house where you travel through the creepiest bits of Termina? (Which is most of it.) A Metroid house where you're going through an abandoned facility overtaken by the Metroids with a Ridley puppet scare at the end? I could see that happening Year 30, but I'm not sure about 29. I would love to see a creepy Nintendo character alongside other properties in HHN merch though. Would be killer.
  8. I'd be blown away if we didn't get Stranger Things Season 2, the only question is how they'll handle the Mind Flayer
  9. The dual parking was so magical. I can only dream of reliving such a grand-scale Horror Nights
  10. Creatures! will always be my guilty pleasure house. Also, unrelated, but with the new timeslot expansion, I feel like even more houses is guaranteed. Not only do those dates allow Universal to compete with MNSSHP, but it would make sense for Universal to give more time to hit up every single house. I'm sold on 11-12 houses TBH. Wouldn't be surprised if year 30 even starts in mid-late August to compensate for the rumored 13 houses. (But now im getting a bit ahead of myself)
  11. They did have his cover of Sweet Dreams in front of the Trick r' Treat entrance/exit sometimes cause of the movie's werewolf scene
  12. I'm surprised it hasn't happened sooner. I'd love to see the artistic interpretations of those album covers. Unfortunately it's such a pipedream though.
  13. Anna And The Apocalypse makes so much sense to me. Another Horror-Holidays house is definitely due by now, and this film could kill two birds with one stone by being a comedy house and a music-themed house. There's a lot of scenes that screamed Horror Nights in this film.
  14. Interesting. Shoulda fact checked, I thought Coraline was a Disney Production! I see what you mean though, I just think OTGW would be some good material. I swear one day I'll make the first animated horror show to be at horror nights
  15. Here's a question: Could Horror Nights ever take on something animated? If fanboys clamoring that it'll turn HHN soft is a problem, there are plenty of adult animated horror films/shows that could easily make the cut. But, as we see from normal horror films at HHN, there are plenty of animated horror shows/films that are PG/PG-13 that could be used. I think Over The Garden Wall, for example, could work so well as a house or a Central Park scarezone, and thanks to its mature audience it wouldn't attract raving tweens.
