  1. So an email rolled out today: "Come back and experience new stories and visions from the world’s most notorious creators of horror on select nights Sep 6 – Nov 2. This year, the legend grows and the experience reaches beyond your wildest nightmares." I'm probably looking into it waaayyyy too much, but thag last sentence is kinda interesting. "The legend grows". Are we getting more lore leading up to year 30?
  2. Fair. I'm just worried I guess. I'm hoping for 2 shows again
  3. This thought scares me more than the event itself. I feel like HHN needs at least 11 houses and 2 shows or we're gonna have insanse bottlenecking and scarezones are pretty much gonna be nonexistent. I'm praying this is just where they're at right now.
  4. Hmmm... I'm not sure this is what you meant to say, but Hill House is not owned by Warner, it's Paramount which has existed at the event for years. If it's not that, the amount of money I have on Hill House is massive, it makes too much sense. Warner Brothers stuff isn't impossible at the Orlando HHN, I mean, they're really competing with Hollywood for the most part, and if loaning out an IP to us means more money in their pockets (which it does) it'll work out. Not to mention, I can see Horror Made Here going under pretty soon. The only thing it has going for it are nice sets and the abuse of popular properties, and the latter only works so long with WB properties that they own entirely. Maybe not this year, but WB properties are due to return soon. As for AHS, again, it's a property that brings soooooo much cash to the managers that discussing a loan out for that property is always incredibly possible. That's stacks of cash in everyone's pockets. Though I won't count on it coming back till year 30.
  5. If we get the original The Thing as a house I will be okay with every other IP being a Blumhouse property. The original The Thing is my favorite film of all time
  6. Honestly, I love comedy, especially in the streets. One of my favorite memories of horror nights was in year 25, where I befriended one of the Psychoscarepy characters and they'd talk in character to me every night I went, and they were funny but alwaya kinda creepy since they were always kinda off, obviously. But that doesn't mean horror is dying at Halloween HORROR Nights???? People think horror is dying at HHN, but like, I recall in Vamp 85 there being a dummy with its eye stabbed through a microphone, and various other really gory set pieces? Yeah it's not direct jumpscares, but that's still scary stuff regardless. Y'all need to chill out and let some fun happen. Scary stuff ALWAYS goes down at Horror Nights and A&D is not planning on making this kid-friendly or not scary. That's what MNSCHP is for. Last year, they were celebrating campy 80's culture, and even with the more comedy-related stuff, like Slaughter Sinema, they were bloody and crazy and scary. Just chill out lmfao, a lot of people are jaded and saying 28 is one of the worst years just because of its themes. I say bring on the comedy, just bring on the scares along side them.
  7. Here's something: World War Z 2 was just given a release date of "late March". IMO if we're getting a zombie IP I'd PREFER either Anna and The Apocalypse or Shaun of The Dead, but what's the possibility of World War Z at the event?
  8. I would honestly love this. Buuuuut, X-Files is owned by Fox, I believe. And Disney gobbled up Fox. Those dreaded villains of HHN!!! But now that I think about it, a grey-buggy-eyed-alien house would be legit. Maybe even as a movie for a future Slaughter Sinema. Maybe it's just me, but I used to be terrified of those mofos, and a house with a grey-alien aesthetic with 50's alien invasion music would be amazing.
  9. To be honest the only cool part about that house was the The Purge transition room. The room where all the walls were the giant warnings behind bars with the alarm was neat.
  10. I'd love for all of the films featured in Silver Screen to be made into full houses. I feel like My Bloody Valentine, The Strangers, Shaun of The Dead, and others are IP's that could pop up at any time.
  11. Honestly I wouldn't enjoy getting Frightanic BACK as a dual run. Is A&D really about to make 2 more chapters to Frightanic or is that just the clue for another dual house concept? I'd love to see what else they can do with the dual house concept, it's really cool and a good way to keep the house count up without being too artificial. Also, the idea of 6 IP's and 6 Originals makes me really, REALLY happy.
  12. Jigsaw is a no-go, it flopped in the box office. And no one cares about it unless it appears in an overarching Saw House. Final Destination I think is a piece that I think could show up at any time, as with most late 90's-Early 2000's movies. But the lack of a central villain like The Pig or Billy from Saw would make it kinda weird. Pet Sematary is 100% possible as long as it's 100% specified that it is the FILM version not the book version, since Stepehen King is a stingy old manchild. Last time I checked the new film isn't owned by one of our lovely HHN Villains (WB, Disney, MGM kinda)
  13. i believe Universal owns the "Chucky" branding while MGM or Warner Bros owns the "Child's Play" branding. Universal would just have to name the house "Chucky Does The Thing" and they'd be fine. Copyright laws are nutty AF.
  14. So if this is what the clue meant its 12 houses. Frequent fear with express it is
  15. Oooooooh you're right. I thought that was, like, a best of house, though? Fact check me it's been almost a decade and I was like 10 that year lol
  16. I'm gonna assume you didn't just name one of the houses to me that easy, so maybe just a water or ship themed house. As for the count hint. I believe you just locked in 12. There's been 2 Frightanic houses, 10+2=12. (Long shot but I just had the eureka if this is right I'll be so happy)
  17. Now I'm stumped. Time-stopping and a generic sentence about going somewhere with Rick. Also, is it possible to know whether the hint in your reply pertains to a house or house count? I'm assuming the latter but my overanalytical brain is taking everything as a clue now.
  18. Well the house number thing is pretty simple. I'm betting on 12 with 13 for 2020. As for R&M, that cold open is about Rick and Morty trying to disable a nuke and then literally destroying the world I believe? I don't believe Fallout would ever happen, but there's tons of Post Apocalyptic stuff to choose from. And as for the time-stop one, I have my money on Frightanic due to that being a Titanic-themed episode. Unless the time-stop is the hint. If that's the case IDFK.
  19. @mystiquephreeq Legacy's!! I edited it so say what I kind of think?
  20. I am so utterly confused with the clues. If I remember correctly the time-stop thing was in an episode with a titanic recreation? Are we getting Frightanic back or something? And the second clue is from the pilot episode. No idea there.
