the event this year is an 80s event, and they could have done SO many retro things with it.... they could have had a vampire show that connected to Vamp 85 scarezone, they could have had so many other things that tie to the 80s, so many cool ideas for costumes or make the show a party style show. make it fun and quirky and enjoyable

the terminator show is such a drag in an otherwise fun event. even Dead Exposure has a  quirkiness to it. everything else in the park feels retro or fun and quirky, and then you go to this show and the story is so serious and dark.... but then you have dance numbers in this terminator style story... ugh... even the high energy dance numbers dont make sense with the story and tone they set up.

As soon as Vamp got announced I thought it was a guarantee that we would get a vampire Michael Jackson show. Throw in some other classic 80's stars and you got a show.

This house is amazing during the daytime. Cause your eyes haven't adjusted to the dark yet, and the pitch-black/blindness concept works perfectly. During the night though, your eyes have adjusted and you can pretty much see everything, and the house becomes eh.

If you really wanna counteract that stare at your phone on max brightness. Works every time.

I perpetually complain about the long walks, but it didn't seem that bad this year.  Especially the tents.  I mean, it seemed like it was the same routes as before; just didn't seem as bad.

According to my pedometer, each night averaged 7 miles, and I recall it used to average 9.

Speak for yourself the walks were still killer but I think the quality of the houses made it just a little less bad.

Great house, has incredible environments but doesn't let up on the scares.

However, this one can give out some bad runs due to slow congas or lighting issues. I've personallly had one meh run and one fantastic run with basically just @sadbunny and me in the house alone.

Costume design is great, and scares are both numerous and varied as hell, the evolution of camo scares has really come a long way to get to these furry teeth bellied fellows.

Some great setpieces in this one as well, from the spores to the crashed plane.

Not sure if this one is in contending for HotY, but is definitely a pretty great house.

I still do feel like they could have varied the costumes a bit more unless you really get in and look at them it's just a whole bunch of bushmen and even then there are only like three or four different masks

Having a hard time waiting for my HHN vacation at the end of October with all these amazing reviews. What also is great is that the best to worst lists are all over the place with the exception of Blumhouse and Dead Exposure usually ending at the bottom, the variety of the lists I think shows how successful the lineup is this year and the only thing to make variances is just personal tastes and just luck of scare timing. So sounds like one of the best yet and can't wait to see myself! Only worrysome thing is the complaints about crowds being worse than usual but I am sure it isn't anything that I can't handle especially with Express, even if Express lines are running a bit longer right now it should still work out. But hope the Express lines do get under 30 mins.

If you time everything right and work the crowd you will be fine I got every house and did some twice with no express opening weekend.

The moving hay bales that were there the first weekend.  They remind me of McDonald's fry guys.

I didn't see any of these opening weekend. Was it a full on moving hay bale or a guy covered in hay?

Does anyone know what's going on with the two scare actors by the church? There's a woman in a white dress with a flashlight and a cheerleader. I think they're apart of this zone but I'm not quite sure what the deal is

I'm pretty sure they are just supposed to be people being attacked. I ran into a guy holding a binder he didn't try to scare me but he was definitely in costume. Some zones have people who like beg for help I think its that kind of a deal.

I really hope they revise Chucky’s dialogue in the “mini-show.” It was so boring and some of it cringe worthy.

They’re going more towards the original films-Chucky (which I appreciate), but I feel the “Bride”-era Chucky would fit better at the event (sarcastic, rude, FUNNY).

Also, some more guest interaction would be nice. Maybe bring a guest on stage to do something fun or embarrassing.

I’ve only seen two renditions of the show. Anybody know how many in total there are?

If they did something like Sinbad's fountain where he could like command a scareactor to get a guest and like bring them onto the stage
