The only three of those that would ever show up at HHN already have. That's not exactly a loss.
C'mon, you don't think there might ever be an X-Files house? It'd be fun.

I don't understand the fixation with Get Out. Yes, it was a decent movie, but what, exactly, is scary about it? Are you going to walk through a room of stuffy white people sipping tea with their pinkies held up while being served by maids with glazed eyes? What's scary about that? I just don't see how that one translates to HHN.
Just set it in the final act like they did with The Shining. It would bring in a TON of people and they could even just throw it in HoB 2 if they felt it wouldn't fill an entire house.

That's a very diplomatic way of putting it from what I've heard over the years.
Mind telling me what you’ve heard? I’m a big fan of the franchise and I always had assumed that it had come to Orlando at some point, it being HHN borne and all, but when I checked no such house existed. Shocking!

Anyone know why we never got House of 1000 corpses?

Looks fun, I’d love to experience an Arkham and IT house, so maybe I’ll have to venture west if they keep repeating IT.

As for younger audiences for HHN, let's see what Stranger Things brings, and see what the gore-level is this year.
The idea of HHN getting neutered because StrTh'll pull in the kiddies is scarier than any house this year, mostly because of how plausible it sounds.
*shudder*

We’re taking 80s B-movie monsters and creatures and putting them into one frightening experience—Slaughter Sinema. This new house joins the line-up of original storylines you’ll brave at Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights 28.
It’s showtime at the local drive-in. As you approach, you’ll see movie trailers of what you’re about to witness, filling you with dread as you make your way inside. The smell of popcorn will be first to hit your senses as you find yourself in a movie theater snack bar. But from there, it’s all downhill for this double-feature.

I wonder if they will update the site with new video tapes for announced originals tomorrow. That would be great.
Yeah, also DE:PZ deserves a VHS. If it doesn’t get one in the next website update, I will riot.

Ugh, as much as I prefer original content, I really wouldn't like to see "Where Evil Hides" return, which inexplicably had Michael Myers running around yet had nothing to do with the Halloween franchise because it was the "icon house" of the Storyteller. In fact, I think that year was the start of the tradition of "every Icon house must suck".
I think that’s much less likely than a H4 house.

Welp.
Eating some humble pie.
One of the houses I was adamant about not coming, is indeed coming. It's been confirmed by multiple sources and they're also eating some slices. It's a fluent situation, this event.

No shame, I hope Comcast gets Fox so we can get a killer Alien house.

I feel like I’m one of a few that like the purge as a SZ. It really fits just right as one. Now as a house it sucks. I’m hoping we get the First Purge as an IP SZ this year!
I was surprised by how much I enjoyed Purge last year, but I’d prefer for it to take a break for 5+ years please.

Hey all,
Hoping you can help me understand something about this house.
I went in Seprember - super early in the year. I LOVED this one, as did many based on the other reviews I read.
However, near the end of the season, I heard on a lot of podcasts that this house went downhill as much as Hive increased in intensity.
Can anyone who went into the Fallen at both the beginning and end of the season elaborate on what happened?
I heard something that I just don't buy - that half the cast quit.
I heard half the cast got sick.

What would go in this HoB 2 if not Halloween? I get that there are many options (Get Out, Hush, Creep, The Visit) but I imagine they'll want a new blockbuster IP to bring GP into the house, which was Insidious last year. This year...could be the new Purge? Would they really use Purge in the same house series two years in a row? As much as I want Halloween to get its own house, I can't see a solo Halloween 2018 house and HoB 2 existing at the same event.

Looks like we’re saying goodbye to The Thing and It this year. These two IPs got purged for what seems like a while now and our replacements are Poltergeist and, drum roll please...The First Purge.
I wish I was kidding.
Again this has not been confirmed and we should all take this with a grain of salt. For all we know this could be the Conjuring/Leatherface/TOT scenario all over again. If this is true, then I knew the original leaked lineup was too good to last.
Yikes, that's rough Hollywood, sending positivity.

Alright, well this new username was made to taunt IU’s no-profanity rule by making the most family friendly username possible.
Oh, the irony.

A ball drop would be great.
A ball drop only at midnight would be better.
A ball drop at midnight with spikes attached to the bottom of the ball that appear to impale some trapped "guest" actors...now, that would be something special.

It seems this will be more of an AoH 2 than a Scarecrow zone.

Scarezones
How did you sum up my exact feelings on the SZs so perfectly? Bravo.

Meh, it seems like a generic pumpkin woods zone in Central Park. Hopefully the scares deliver.

I am thrilled with all this news today - and my FFP w/ Express passes have been purchased... so, for me, it's now official (even thought I've had my airline tix for two months already for all four weekends). I love that it's an 80's year officially.. that's my era! WOO HOO!
I am HOPING they have some of the Scarecrow stuff in the Harvest. Scarecrow was one of my top 5 houses of all time! A little taste of it in a zone this year would NOT piss me off.
Turns out Harvest is AoH V2, which actually makes me more excited than the Scarecrow zone, haha.

We gonna start zone threads? AoV?

To be honest I’ve never seen the series, I just really want to do an alien themed haunt.
