    Scareactor Appreciation

    Dead End- Last night in one of the last scenes..I can't remember exactly which one..(I will have a better idea tonight) A scareactor on my left hand side followed me along ..and had their head real low..once I realized it.. He/she popped up at me..and then one on the right hand side lunged at me at the same time..causing me to "almost" crawl out of that one scene.. and then as I go into the next scene..the next one on my right got me as soon as I walked in..

    You three were amazing! I went in around 7:00. Actually..the entire house at that time was intense..

    I move into my new house in one week! I can't wait!

    Another random thought...

    I tried explaining my HHN obsession to the guy I am dating.. and I'm sure I just sounded crazy to him. No one understands how amazing HHN is.. Le Sigh..

    Sooo I officially moved to Virginia not long after my last post here.. I got a job with a good company, and now looking for a house. (Staying with family until I get settled in at work since I will be moving locations at work after Christmas) Feels soo good to be working again! Loving Virginia too.. I just have two major fears while living here.. 1.) Driving in snow/Ice.. 2.) Hitting a deer.. That second one sounds so awful, but I've seen soo many dead deer on the side of the road due to them running out in the middle of traffic.. I've seen a lot of deer on the side of the road grazing.. I am afraid one is going to decide to run out in front of me one day.. le sigh.. I miss everyone on here!

    Your Luck Has Run Out:  Oh THERE'S Lady Luck...I thought they forgot all about her at the event.  Nice little scare zone, but the chainsaws needed to learn how to scare with the saws.  I saw so many missed opportunities that these folks had to really scare the crap outta someone (.....Liz) and they didn't take it.  (Yes I am very critical of saw work...if you get a saw, you need to learn how to scare with it) 3/5

    Can I just say.. I am glad they didn't take that chance. It was bad enough being stalked down the street. If they had revved that saw.. I would have been gone..

    Btw.. Glad I got to see you, and saws would have definitely been better with you :D

    I have an interview next week that could REALLY change my life.. if I get this job.. I will be moving to Virginia.. which I have wanted to do for as long as I remember. So since this is such a life changing interview.. I am UBER nervous. I really want out of Florida, and really want to move to Virginia to be near my family. So nervous.. I leave Tuesday for a week, and the interview is Wednesday.. gah.. **fingers crossed**

    So honestly.. I really liked this zone, but.. it wasn't the Lucks I liked.. it was the Minions.... I LOVE the Minions.. On Thursday... I was watching a girl run screaming from a Minion..as I watched and laughed, the Minion that made her run and scream turned around and got me.... on Friday I had a Minion kind of stalk me through the zone.. I didn't even realize he was behind me until I looked over at a friend and caught him out of the corner of my eye standing right behind me. These guys have so much energy, and really worked together the times I saw them.

    Not to mention the Minions remind me of body collectors :wub:

    My random opinion on things this year. ^_^

    Sooo I was able to go this year after thinking I wouldn't be able to.. Here are a few of my throughts

    I will review the houses in order of my favorite to least favorite.. these are my opinions..

    1.) Forsaken- I honestly was looking forward to this house the least going in and it ended up being my favorite. I went in this house the most becasue I loved it so much, and each trip I got a scare from a different place. I think the scareactors do a great job. I also had trouble telling which were scareactors and which were fakes in some parts. I actually had to ask my friend if something was real or not. The bungee scene was amazing <3 I seemed to have things popping out at me from every angle. Definitely wish I could go through this house a few more times. In this house..

    2.) HR Bloodngutz- This house was fun, and also had a few scares there! I really enjoyed this house so much.

    3.) Winter's night- I love the coldness in this house..it really gets you in the mood. I had scares coming from various directions, and was really nervous to walk through some of the parts. The bones got me ridiculously good.. I had no idea they were there.

    4,) Inbetween- The 3-D effect in this house is really neat. I love the winged demons, the rune room, the laser room, and the line? room.. The two guys at the end actually made me run of the house.. I didn't expect them, and they popped out at the same time.

    5.) Nightengales- This house was definitely neat. I liked how the banshees were feeding on various bodies and not just scaring. I am glad I got to see the banshee grab the soldier and feast. ha

    6.) Saws N Steam- I don't know if each time I went through the house I caught the scareactors resetting, but I didn't see too many scareactors in the house. I think only one person jumped out of me in the house.. The guy with the chainsaw at the end did get me though.

    7.) Poe- Poe is pretty to look at.

    8.) The Thing- I don't know.. I went through this house two times..and both time the scareactors looked bored to me. They were shooting their guns but they just looked like they'd rather be somewhere else..

    Scarezones

    1.) Canyon of Dark Souls- Love this zone.. these guys are so tall, and are extremely intimidating. I didn't like walking past the stilt guys for that reason.

    2.) Nightmaze- I loved the shapeshifters at the beginning. I also loved how the scareactors blended in so well in the dark, and you couldn't really see them come at you at times.

    3.) YLHRO.. I like the minions.. Not so much the alley.. I had a minion stalk me for awhile.. it was rather creepy.. I also laughed at someone running from one, and turned around to see the same minion that chased her.. come after me.. yeah.. karma..

    4.) Grown Evil- It was just creepy... loved how the stilts move their heads, and move their wings..

    5.) 7- I honestly didn't see this zone enough to have a great opinion of it. I saw it two times in the daylight..

    6.) Acid Assault- honestly.. it reminded me too much of Containment.. except without the inflatable tunnel

    I had an amazing time though, and REALLY wish I was able to go back more this year.

    I really liked this zone. The energy was amazing! I got some of the best scares in this zone. Hiding behind the curtains really is awesome! Man some of the SA are tall and I mean TALL! Are you all that tall or is it apart of the costume?

    I was thinking the same thing. Some of those guys are ridiculously tall.

    Love this house so much. Definitely had a few experiences with cast b tonight that made me love this house. You guys are so creepy, and definitely made me feel incredibly uncomfortable.
