  1. Oh Something different happened today

at the entrance of the Thing there was a girl that works at Uni and she kept telling everyone at the line: ( "Please put your cellphones and cameras in your pockets, not flash photography or you will attract the thing")

I wonder why? she kept giving this warning every 3 minutes, over and over, the funny thing is that when she says taking pictures inisde will attract the thing and kill you People were going like "HELL YEAH IM GONNA TAKE SO MUCH PICS SO THE THINGS GET ME YEAH"

She's been doing that, this is prob just the first time you've seen her doing it. She's also the only one who does, and I'm pretty sure it's because the movie hasn't came out yet.

On the note of BIll and Ted corralling us in one direction, at the first show they were pushing us towards tents....so I don't know if that was a temporary thing, if it changed later in the night or what.

  2. well............

i dont know, chainsaws have been part of HHN every single year, now that i think about it I miss them, i actually never cared for them but they were always there, scaring people, i really miss the chainsaw guys now , the park doesn't feel the same without them,

And they're a part of this years event too but, they aren't over done.

I stick by what I said saying it really improves the event that they're moving away from just chainsaws. It shows that as an event they're progressing more. I can go to any local haunt and see 50 big dude's with a chainsaw trying to scare me. I come to HHN for top quality, surreal, scares.

  3. which this pretty freaking weird since HHN is all about the chainsaws, so i dont know

I don't think it's Universal's Halloween Chainsaw nights. I'm pretty sure they're just as aware as I am that you don't need chainsaws to scare people and if anything it kinda ups the ante that they backed away a lot from it.

  4. I can't think of the last time this happened but last night I got 3 or 4 GOOD scares. Like where I jumped. Hasn't happened in years. I loved it! So shout outs are in order.

Winter's Night, don't know cast or person but you looked like a corpse just sitting down. BUT ALAS you jumped up and scared the shit out of me. These effects are hard to even scare me with and IT WORKED. Holy hell. Was great.

The Thing. Got a great scare in here from one of the transforming humans.

H.R. Bloodengutz. Got a great scare from Abraham Lincoln and you said my name. Not sure who you are but kudos. Was great!

  5. Let's bitch about something we've wanted for YEARS when it finally comes around....I distinctly remember NUMEROUS members saying "I'll buy one even if it's generic." Now they have a generic hoodie and members are saying "I don't want it."

Just remember the next time we have a big push for something in the park they'll look at this situation and they'll say "They bitched and moaned when we finally gave in and got hoodies, we can skip this since they'll be ungrateful."

They're $40, that isn't that much. If they were $60 and generic, I'd sympathize more, but they aren't.

  6. First year was 2006. Went on opening Saturday and was extremely pumped for the event.

I had just moved to Florida less than two months prior and we had gotten our annual passes probably 2 or 3 weeks before Horror Nights. I knew we were going to Horror Nights, since I was so excited for it. Went with my brother and my friend Brendan. First house ever was ScreamHouse 3 and I loved it, ended up making it through Psycho, and All Night Die In. Checked out all the zones and just generally had a blast. I loved the event and thought it was scary in all the rights ways and it left me craving for more. From there I've been the haunt freak I am.
