  1. I think I saw Milton at the beginning of that second video but maybe it was just a regular person

now that I saw the second video, the one in color. I saw that some actors have make up and not masks. And that is what a lot of people wanted... but from the video, it didn't look too good.

  2. I much rather prefer epileptic seizure zombies than have boring slow zombies.
I know it is not true to the show, but who cares really? I mean, If you think about it the zombies last year were more true to the zombies in the show but they barely moved sometimes.

These zombies might be twitching and acting weird but that will help the house I think.

I noticed that some of the actors had the same type of mask as last year? so that has not changed?

  3. Yeah that's what I would assume as well. Having watched both the original and remake, I could understand how a house rendition could feel drawn out

I Was looking at Hollywood's video of their house today and, I can't say I am too impressed. The sets might look good but I don't really see how the remake makes a good IP to use for HHN. Of course the house might be amazing and I might be completely wrong here. But the one house I am not really that excited about is this one.

  4. I hope so, I remember no one being in front of me, I walked down that corridor and saw the guy there at the end. I walked towards him and put my guard down some. Then he got pulled away in front of me. Best thing I ever saw in any of the houses.

I was never able to see that effect properly. I either saw it too late, or the guy was doing it as I passed him. I would catch a glimpse but never really saw it in front of me....

  5. Heard a rumor at Universal that Daryl, Meryl, and Michonne will be running through the park. Also Bicycle girl is already set up in the Scarezone in central park, it's tarped up.

Oh God I really hope this is true. I don't want to get my hopes up but I hope this is the case. I would love to see Rick and Shane as well........

I would wish the house had the Governor too,

  6. So, I'm new to this FFP ticket. Is it just the AP holders that can get in to these HHN parties? I feel like such a newb, but I wish to know! And if I'm not mistaken, they had separate entrance lines for FFP and one night ticket holders, right?

I'm planning a trip with my friends, and I wish to have them included in everything!

second entrance lines for FFP? what are you talking about? where did you hear this?

I don't know, if there was a second entrance I never used it. I've always used the regular entrance

  7. Serious question:

Everyone realizes we most likely won't see any major street construction until after RTU, right?

Everyone has heard about the barn and the tank, right?

We have seen platforms and possible tether poles that seem to suggest "barkers". Which would mean survivors. Walkers can't be "barkers".

The Clear (I haven't seen season 3) appears to be different than woods or cars or buildings. The pictures I've seen seem Rat Run like.

I cannot fathom why people have already decided the streets are going to be bad, boring, worthless, useless, uncreative....

Is it just animosity due to it being an IP?

I'm going to give the streets a chance. There will be big pretty scenic sets (something I see no need for, personal preference). The streets will have a cohesive feel and theme. And we should see some form of interactions with some scareactors.

who else is trashing the streets? (bad, boring, worthless, useless, uncreative) sounds pretty negative. are you talking about facebook?

I haven't heard any of this yet. Is it people trashing the streets in the HHN facebook page?

  8. it's an abridged version of the film, and like the screenings, there are callbacks which can be obscene at times (what's hilarious is that even though the maps say that swearing is something that can eject you from the park, the RHPS tribute is the only place where you can get away with swearing since it's part of the callbacks).

    the maps really say that?

what does that mean? does that mean that if you say a curse word in a house while getting scared can get you kicked out?

  9. Well I for one am excited for the Street experiences this year and I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you're in the minority. A few generic tiny cryypt/grave decorations are better? Really?

well, I see it like this.

Yes, a few genetic tiny graves were kind of silly, But the actors last year were amazing. the costumes were amazing. the chainsaw girls were pretty hardcore.

This year we are going to get what we had in front of Disaster, but all over the park, Which is not a bad thing, But it doesn't sound really great either. having a couple of cars and a couple of tents here and there is not really going to do much.

I hated the idea of Hordes because we didn't get detailed sets. But I never had a problem with the actors, they were always amazing.

But maybe you are right, and maybe the actors playing zombies will totally do an amazing job and will make this a great year. It's just that the pictures of the streets so far feel a little bit lame.

    yeah, you are right.

  10. Heres a vlog from The Tim Tracker showing off all of the scarezone pieces that are out in the streets so far:

Darryl's truck and the Sophia station wagon are pretty much right when you walk in the park, so I think you can count out any sort of evil takes root scarezone at the entrance.

At 3:40, you can see some irrigation tubing rigged from one of the coolers and into the fire pit. Thats more than likely going to be a fog chiller, so some sort of flame/fog effect will definitely be happening there. Also at 5:05, they point out some sort of bar/handle on top of the RV for an actor to use to support themselves when they stand on top of it. Pretty cool stuff.

I dont know.....I know the streets are nowhere near finished and I know once with the actors and the music it will be different. But it feels kind of lame.

I was okay with the fact that Walking Dead took over the streets, but now that I see pictures and video it doesn't really feel that cool.

Hopefully with the other stuff they will add things will get better. But it just feels kind of lame.

I can't believe I am saying this lol.... but I miss 2012 hordes now....... (the street props were a little better too)

  11. I'm curious about which monster we will see. I know the press release says Hunters, nemesis, lickers, Cerberus, and zombies. But are there any other possible monsters? Haven't played old RE games in years

I wonder what monsters did the Japan RE house had, we are basically, probably getting what they are getting.

maybe, maybe not, specially if they Use Lickers more than once. Plus the zombies. I am glad we are getting monsters,

I kinda wish we got one of these:

  12. If they do have "Survivors" roaming around the park. I think i know how they could do Daryl,

They can have an actor on a bike(Blood thunder Alley '05, Deadtropolis '06, and the clowns from 2007, with a crossbow maybe, and give him a bandana to wear. similar to the Warriors mask's from last year.

    like that c:

the only thing I would love is to see Walking Dead characters this time around. The whole point of the show is them, the only thing we care about is them,

It is such a shame they can't be in the zones or the car. I would die for Michonne to be somewhere and be able to see her

  13. ha I love how people here recommend getting early see everything before 7 then start using Express for 2cnd pass, lol!!! If my family and friends be that active, they only be peeing, eating, looking for drink stands, looking to do the houses ASAP and getting tired before 11pm.

I don't eat or drink anything before 8, lol.

but as far as bathroom breaks, I go between houses If I need to, Since the bathrooms are on the way to the other houses lol. It's all planned out.

  14. For the past 3 years i have done this! Just ask them and usually they'll say yes or be like "Hmm what is that?" And wink and look the other way :)

What? Are you kidding me? are you for real? they just let you take them?

Do you ask during the event? or when it is almost over?

  15. I think the chances that Resident Evil will be good are much better. I think the fact that Orlando used such a heavy influence from the movies hurt them in the end. Resident Evil is sticking to the games, so that's one for RE. Also, Silent Hill has that abandoned run-down look that I feel they just used as an excuse to try and do it quick and sloppy with a lower-budget. I just feel like they didn't "get" Silent Hill and it came across in their design. They won't be able to cut corners with Resident Evil quite as much, but I could be wrong. Hopefully the Nemesis pops up a few times unlike Pyramid Head where they only had him once walking in circles. Too many static characters in SH last year...

To me it felt like Silent Hill could have worked if it was a ride for some reason.

It felt like it could have worked if you were supposed to be seating in a car and have things coming at you. But as a house for me it was a failure and the way they handle Pyramid head was kind of a failure as well.

The house was just awful in that aspect. (The costumes were great, the actors were great, the sets were okay, but the layout and the placement of the nurses and Pyramid head was awful. )

Plus the house was basically made from the movie. Everything in the house was closer to the movie. Silent Hill is one house I didn't understand. I didn't understand.

I am really hoping Nemesis appears at least 3 times. That is my only hope I have.

  16. If there was ever a year for the usual drunk attendees to break something, the wolves in this house are my biggest concern. Here's hoping they are close enough for a scare, but far enough away to be out of reach or something.

That has been my biggest fear from the beginning. That the wolves will break. Imagine an AWIL house with no werewolves... :( I know the house will be amazing but I am afraid about that.

  17. I still hold the SF is the freeway (I think the are including it in Atlanta... which makes sense)

seeing as a cast has up to 75... makes sense.

The clear should go where we thought Woodbury would be Hollywood.

Anyway THIS is the Clear.... more or less.

I don't really get how they will implement sharp sticks and traps on a road traversed but a ton of people.

I pretty much see the buildings in Hollywood not being altered at all with props, much like the above, on wheel out prop carts (like the Grave stones)

About the sticks, that was something I kept thinking about but didn't say anything. But even if they are props, it still makes me wonder how are they going to do that.

I guess they could make the sticks really really long? so that no one can get hurt by them?
