  1. I guess im also the cheapstake in the bunch as well, but is not because i want to be, when i go i buy the FFP, i never eat at HHN because the few times i have i didn't like the food or i thought it was overpriced/not worth it, on a regula night i buy soda and pop corn or a churro maybe, so i spend between 5 to 10 bucks a night, merchandise, i never get merchandise either, sometimes i wanna get a shirt but just end up not getting it

The one time i spend the most was in 2007, Carnival of carnage, one time i ate there,(Pizza) and i bought two shirts, and a cup, i spend around 50 bucks the night, it was because Carnival of carnage was my favorite year.

  2. It depends on when you walked through. The first time I went through was the perfect time; The Man in The Mask stands there, perfectly still, for what seems like ages before lunging at someone in the line.

    Really?!!!!!

oh i would loved to see that, i also heard once about a scareactor coming out of the closet, but never saw it, and the weird thing is that i went to this house like so many times, the lines were always short,

I just remember two more scares:

    2008

    The body collectors

I was walking in the room where one of the guys is ripping the spine of a girl, while the gentlemen watch, and i was looking at the girl when the scareactor that was taking her spine jumped at me and yelled something, scared the crap out of me because i never expected that and he got Super close to me, so close i felt his breath in my face, he smelled like Halls Breath Mints :)

    2009

    Dracula

in this one, i was in the last room and in the last room of dracula there was a table with blood and bones, and everybody went by the Right side of the table, but i decided to walk by the Left side, and i was the only one walking in that side of the table, and there was a scareactress girl that was behind me, but i never saw, and same thing happened, she got super closed to me and said something, but she touched my neck, again i didn't even know she was back there, and when i felt my neck i just ran out of there lol

  3. In the Friday the 13th house, Jason stood above everybody on a 2nd story and pointed at people. Apparently, he also pulled a cord that released two oil barrel drums to smash together right above your head. That scare actually made me jump.

Last year there were several good scares for me: the pigs at the end of Saw, the miners from My Bloody Valentine in Silver Screams, and the room with the Strangers in Silver Screams.

Yep, great scares, the Jason one has to be my favorite of all time, well the whole house was Epic, but the barrels thing scared the Bejesus out of me, I really felt threatened, i thought the roof was going to fall, i just love that house so much.

Yeah the pigs in Saw Always got me, i knew they were coming, i knew what was going to happened, and they always got me so bad. my sister got so scared when the first time she went that she ran as fast as she could and left me alone.

I never understood the room of "The Strangers" all i saw was the guy standing there and some noises, i never got scared by any actor or anything...

  4. I'm going to have to make up some lies to my supervisor to get out of work for FFP nights this year. And go figure that the only classes available to me for the entire month of October are Wednesday and Thursday nights. This is going to get interesting.

LoL i dont think youre the only one hehe :)

what would be a good lie? what about "sorry boss i got an AA meeting wed and thurs nights"

and about the classes, yeah i was checking into that as well, if the class is early the is fine for me, i would just go home leave my books and go to HHN

  5. I absolutely loved the parade. I wish it would come back.

And I don't really mind giving up one SZ and one house.

It seemed the sz were spread too thin and small this year. I would rather have quality over quanity. The route could just go from Jaws around NY and back... But I guess it isn't a popular idea based on the ranking. <_<

Yep i agree, i would love a Parade, I never saw one, so it would be my first time, and it sounds So much fun,

if last year you told me we could had a parade instead Cirque du freak i would have said yeah,

same with houses like Interstellar Terror, i would rather have an awesome parade than a house that i wouldn't visit more than twice, and it would make lines easier to do too, i dont know

  6. Hm. I'm a terribly easy scare, and a teenage girl, and when something jumps at me, I scream. However, I'd never do it for attention or when nothing's around. So if you've seen me and been incredibly annoyed, I apologize.

Lines are a HUGE pet peeve of mine where ever I go, so that'd probably be the biggest. Otherwise I hate the vandalizing drunks, or people in general who abuse to scare actors (or try to scare them). Another huge one is line jumpers. Oh my lord, all of these grind my gears so much.

oh you're right!! something i didnt remember, line jumpers are the Worst!! not only at HHN but at concerts as well, i try to go there early, stay for hours at the concert line and then someone in the front has like 10 friends that arrive 15 minutes before the show Grrrr  (sorry about that) anyways cutting the line is not the only thing, the thing is that they are usually aggressive and mean as well.

If you scream, if is normal getting scared type of scream is ok, sometimes its even really funny, i remember a group of gay guys and some girls were in front of me, and that was the funniest to see all of them freak out so much, the whole group even fell down to the floor at one point, but they were not screaming at the top of their lungs. they were really cool.

but some girls just scream trough the whole house! even when there is nothing there, some girls scream when they see the security people standing in the corners, or seeing a scareactor far away, like they're not even near the scareactor at all but still scream just by seeing him, I remember a girl would scream at random props, like a chair or lamp or anything, at the top of her lungs, that's just bad

  7. The more and more I think about it, a wedding COULD work. Knowing Universal, they would find a way to make a story, complete with SZ, Houses, and all, around it. I can see some sort of Wedding themed show occuring. I'm not saying I LIKE the idea, which I don't. Universal is capable of very creative and incredible things and this would definitely fall into the "not so much" catagory.

However, I can see it working. And, I dont remember who said it exactly, but people WILL come despite the theme. We can kick and scream all we'd like but if they do end up doing a wedding...I think all of us would attend regardless.

The one way that they can connect the wedding to all the houses and the event is if we get an Arrival show, where we see them getting married and the icons as the guests, and then the whole park is their Honeymoon! each house is a destination of the honeymoon, and the greek house is because Jack stole the time machine and took chance back in time

(this wedding idea sounds worst the more i think about it! <_< )

  8. Not even margaritas taste good to you?

Oh, margaritas, never had that before, i've got to try it! I think i could drink more if I knew more sweet drinks.

by the way, What does the jello shots taste like? i see them all over HHN but always wondered.

The USA vs. Ghana game was just so hard to watch, it was suspense down to the last minute, it was really stressful, I kept thinking, even if they lose, I really wished they could have tie the game and go to penalty shootouts, I would have loved to see that, I think that's one of my favorite things about soccer, the penalty shootouts at the end

  9. I don't know, i put all of the above because choosing just one would be unfair to the other pet peeves,

Long lines are bad, but there's nothing you can do about it, they are annoying.

Mazes that aren't dark enough, yeah i agree, that was the problem with the Spawning, I loved the spawning, but the green lights plus the yellow lights, it was too much.

Little kids, they don't annoy me but I feel so bad for them, I remember being 6 and being so scared of monsters, or freddy Krueger, imagine if someone took you to see them, omg.

drunk people that cannot control themselves are the worst, because they think they're funny or tough, so waiting in line or inside the house they either make dumb jokes and wont shut up, or they act tough and start acting mean, insulting the scare actors or they try to start trouble in the line waiting, insulting people or smoking right on your face :(

  10. If you're going on a Saturday you could always go to the one in Citywalk (It's usually on select Saturday nights, but it's 100x better than the HHN one)

Oh really, its a lot better? i think i heard about it once before, but i didn't know it was better, thanks :)

and yeah, like HeWhoWalksBehindTheRows said, i agree there are way better freak shows out there, Shows that would really freak you out, and shock you, Shows that are more fitting for HHN, even when i didn't know who Brian was, and i went to the show, i wasn't really shocked by it or anything,

  11. LMAO, that just made my day!! :D

I gotta say, I like Jack, I don't dislike him at all, and i would Love to see Chance again,

but a weeding just sounds so cheesy to me, how could they make it scary? i just don't see a way around it, and the other icons as guests around them, and people getting killed around a weeding, meh, its just so cheesy, I could see the Billboards for the event with a weeding cake :S

and who would marry them? darkness? would there be a marriage house? how would the other houses be related to the weeding?

from seeing how bad Chucky has gotten, it just seems cheesy

  12. Nooooooo

    no,no,no

I saw his show and did not like it, i didn't even understand why would they bring him to hhn, but that's just my opinion, there are better acts out there, I really hope this is just a misunderstanding and he is doing something else,

Even if he had new material, i would not go, I really hope they didnt cancel RHPS, I really wanted to take my friends this year.

  13. Alcohol is nasty, i am 24 and can't drink anything, it just really taste bad to me, the only thing I liked was a "sex on the beach" that a friend gave me to taste, but didn't tell me what it was. It was really tasty, but i don't think i could ever order that... Also, the other thing I have tasted that was really good was Baileys cream, but that's all i could drink. I don't know how everyone else drinks hard stuff.

  14. Was reading something about Red Lights on here Back in the late 90's when I started going they had red Lights in all the street lamps it was very cool and spooky looking. Also back in the old days as you came in the area toward city walk they played horror movie themes, Jaws, the exorcist and such was very cool..Remember that HUSH?

    Ohh!!

I didn't know that, But this is what i kind of been hoping since i started going in 06, i wish that all the street lights were red or green or something, I really hate how some parts of the park like the back of the park have no lights or anything

I wonder if Rip ride would be open, probably not...

  15. No but their was a similar kong portion on there tram tour. And right now they are doing King Kong 360 that is featuring Peter Jackson's King Kong going into Skull Island and possibly New York

oh i see, i wonder, is that going to be like spiderman?

  16. Check it out. Found this on youtube. Also saw the Kongfrontation video of the ride. It was beautiful! Why'd they ever get rid of it?

That's funny, today around 8 a.m. i was checking videos of Kongfrontation, I really wish i had gone at least once,

Is there a Kongfrontation in Hollywood?
