  1. I know this has been mentioned earlier in the thread, but I think Universal will probably wait to announce something till this week is fully over. While I'm really hoping we get an announcement really soon,  I live in Orlando and know Pulse and the victims have been present in people's minds all week (vigils, concerts, social media posts, memorials). I know that Universal won't want to come off as insensitive. I mean, they removed Cindy as an icon because of a child abduction.... Maybe next week?

So it's been pretty quiet for the Scare zones huh? Pretty quiet. I decided I'm gonna spice up the speculation with some Codenames for the Scare Zones I have heard for HHN27 from my Source.

    Carve

    Time

    Phenomenon

    Culture

    Icon

I have heard the Scarecrow Dust Bowl Maze is completed and will have live corn as apart of the facade and left over props from TCM. The Crossover between Gothic and Catacombs will be very much it's own thing. And Bayou of Blood and it will follow in the vains of Ghost Town last year in terms of Set Design.

Interesting....I'm wondering if "Phenomenon" could be referencing the potential to have the Death Eaters as part of HHN (according to HHNU). Also, I'm assuming Carve will be chainsaw based (not too surprising).

HHNU said they thought that the Death Eaters could come to Universal Orlando since it has been mentioned that an IP already in the parks will be a part of it this year. While I would love to see the Death Eaters, I'm not so sure about J.K. wanting them associated with HHN. Therefore, I think the more likely IP for a scarezone would be the Mummy. It just makes sense with the movie coming out and them wanting to create these Dark Universe movies.

  3. I'm a little new to this forum, but has stuff like candles/roses/bones foreshadowed houses/icons to come before?

It's interesting that Cindy keeps coming up and the theme appears to be Dia De Las Muertas, since celebrations for DotD generally happen in graveyards and cemeteries...where the Caretaker and his family used bodies for experiments. Just a thought. Probably means nothing though.

The "Further" meaning it's about Insidious. Oh Heaven help me if I have to meet Lipstick face. He terrifies me. Didn't go a few years ago when they had the first house. Might have to drink a bit more....

If referring to IP's, Insidious related, since there were only 3 movies, as opposed to the 28 in the SAW series.

    That's what I was thinking!

Could also be something referring to the Evil Dead. There were 3 Bruce Campbell movies. I know it's been rumored that they are using 1&2, but what about Army of Darkness?

Personally, I think this is confirming Evil Dead, but stating all other speculation is missing the mark.

Ahhhhh gotcha. That makes more sense. So does that mean SAW, Insidious and Dark Fortunes aren't set in stone? It seems we have confirmed Gothic/Catacombs Original, Scarecrow Original, Voodoo Queen Original, AHS, the Shining and Evil Dead.

Also, I'm curious about the identity of the Ifrit. Is he someone actually leaking insider information, or is he a paid Universal employee who's job it is to drop hints for fanboys/girls? Either way, I'm loving the riddles. Just curious.

So "The Ifrit" after doing a bit of researchis hinting at a Scare Zone based on Pagan Witchcraft or more commonly known as a Religion known as Wicca. The Rainbow symbolizes hope, connection, and unity of spirits. "Under the full moon's light" is a Prayer or a Chant and also referring to the Dark Moon. Steamers could refer to a Boat. Or something else. Finally the river could refer to ancestral river which refers to the Lady of Blood. Basically a Wicca Scarezone based the Three Nights of the Dark Moon.

Is it possible that the setting could be something concerning a bayou or swamp? The "steamer" and river reference almost reminds me of Huckleberry Finn.

Don't know if this is a bit early, but United Airlines?

With all of the bad publicity they've gotten lately, I'd say it's a definite! It'd be interesting if they could somehow make it the villain.

Also, I don't want them to get political now that the election is over, but I think they could have the one actress who always plays Melissa McCarthy (Chewbacca Mom, PuppyMonkeyBaby) be Melissa McCarth as Sean Spicer.
