  1. On average, how long did it take you guys to get friended by Allison Endicott and Ignatia Himmel on Facebook? I'm trying to be patient, it's just that I would like to ask questions too.
  2. Overall, not a bad night. I came in 5th place out of 40 people.

  3. I sometimes drink but I don't need it to have fun. However, I do it a little backwards. My best friend, my wife, and I go to a restaurant near Universal and have alcohol there, usually they are 2 for 1 specials or something. My wife, who doesn't drink, then drives us to the park, but unfortunately the buzz is pretty much gone by the time it gets dark out. I try my hardest not to buy anything on Universal property because it is so expensive.
  4. In 2002, I went through the Caretaker's house and there was a scene with a stobe light (to mimic lightning) and a sound effect of thunder. After the flash, the Caretaker snuck up on my right side and gently hissed into my ear right as the thunder sounded. The Terror Mines freaked me out, especially since I was the one wearing the hat. In the Friday the 13th house, Jason stood above everybody on a 2nd story and pointed at people. Apparently, he also pulled a cord that released two oil barrel drums to smash together right above your head. That scare actually made me jump. Last year there were several good scares for me: the pigs at the end of Saw, the miners from My Bloody Valentine in Silver Screams, and the room with the Strangers in Silver Screams.
  5. Maybe they can make some jokes about Gary Coleman, or have a look-a-like.
  6. I understand how they can be effective. I just thought it was funny that I got yelled at last year. On opening night I was one of the first few people to go through and they didn't tell people to empty their pockets and put their hands above their heads. I put my stuff in one of those trays and slid it down the table while walking through the detector. The very next night is when they first started telling people to walk through with the objects above their heads and hands facing out.
  7. Does anybody else feel that the metal detectors at the front gate during HHN are useless? From my experience, daytime guests do not go through the detectors and people could stay with the Stay and Scream. Also, the detectors go off every time. It seems security only wants to see your car keys and then you're free to go. Personally, I feel safer after seeing twenty plus uniformed police officers with guns. So what do you think, should HHN even screen people at the front gate? The park guests already went through the top-notch team guarding City Walk.
  8. I just saw your youtube videos and they are great. They are very informative and I learned some new things. Thanks.

  9. I wanted to post this a while ago, but didn't because it didn't make sense. I think it might now, so here goes. On May 14, 2010, I saw a quote from JMR on the hhnrumors website and it said "you reap what you sow." At the time I did a google search for that phrase with the word halloween. One of the results was a production company called Bedlam Theater and Barebones Productions that put on a play at a halloween event. The play was called Fleece (or Fleeced) and it said something about being based on the myth of Jason and the Argonauts. So now I'm thinking those quotes make more sense. Especially "everything was planned from the beginning." I think this beginning ties into the mythology.
