  1. I now know that I can attend October 16 and 23 also. I received this years HNN shirt today so can you please update my status for Sept 23, 24, Oct 16 and 23 as wearing the HNN shirt? Thank you.
  2. I just got my HNN shirt today and I'm going to wear it out tonight at poker night

  3. I agree with the whole counter clockwise path starting with the tents. However, I don't stress about doing everything in one night, mainly because of the Frequent Fear Pass. My plan for opening weekend is to meet up with anybody doing the AP event and pretty much follow them while socializing.
  4. I would go through a separately ticketed house once, but that's probably about it. Even though I get the Frequent Fear Pass (and it's a very good deal) I believe that I end up spending too much. It's bad enough when you end up paying for somebody else along with your tickets because the cost literally doubles.
  5. If they sold it, I wouldn't mind buying a rabbit's foot and a horseshoe key chain.
  6. If I had to pick one I would say Canyon of Dark Souls, but I think they will all be great.
  7. I am looking forward to Nightingales: Blood Prey and Winter's Night: The Haunting of Hawthorn Cemetary.
  8. You should go to youtube and watch Dr. Jimmy's videos of Halloween Horror Nights history. There is a massive amount of information and he is very informative. Look for dockimo and subscribe to his channel. You won't regret it.
  9. I should've clarified my post earlier. I am aware that Dr. Jimmy was talking about the high energy dance show. I am also aware that Bill and Ted will most likely be in it's usual place, the Fear Factor auditorium. What I meant was, is it likely that the high energy dance show will be inside the Terminator attraction?
  10. I remember rumors floating around in early 2010 that the Bill and Ted Show might take place in the Terminator 2 auditorium. Obviously, it didn't. But, it makes me wonder when you say NONE of the current stages, if the Terminator auditorium counts as a stage.
  11. Happy Birthday, Jordan.

  12. I vaguely remember a puppet in the Scary Tales house in 2001. It was a very small thing resembling a clown, placed on a bookshelf up high, and it would lean down and move its arms in a punching motion. I believe it was right inside the entrance and was one of the very first few scares.
  13. Since there is an overall gambling theme this year, I was thinking about the different types of gambling. For instance, slot machines, poker, blackjack, roulette/craps, and possibly events such as dog racing, horse racing, and jai alai. Then I thought how these are all a little different. A slot machine basically has a computer that generates random numbers and creates visual displays for winning combinations (pulling a lever or pressing a button does nothing at all). In poker you are testing your skill against other people. In blackjack you only have one opponent; the dealer which represents the casino. In roulette and craps you rely on a device (i.e. a ball or die) and it's a matter of probablility. With animal racing or jai alai you are placing wagers on others while spectating. Even though Universal doesn't have to have an overall connection for the houses and scare zones to the theme/icon, I thought it was interesting that you can utilize various forms of conflict.
  14. The dealer should have a sidekick known as The Pit Boss .
  15. My wishful thinking is for certain merchandise. I want a deck of cards and hopefully some casino chips.
  16. I liked going through Terror Mines because it scared me multiple times. I don't scare too easily so when something gets to me I appreciate it even more. To date, the only houses that have scared me multiple times are Terror Mines and Hades.
  17. Please be patient with me. I just got a smartphone on Saturday and I am learning how to use the hnn app. My question is why can't I see an update on the hhn website on my phone but I can see it on a PC?
  18. mz_, I sent you a private message, but in a nutshell, I was wondering if you wanted the tapes mailed or hand delivered, if you would edit non-hhn related tapes, and if so what would you charge for those?
  19. I get the same feeling when I go from I-275 to I-4 and the sign is marked: To Orlando.
  20. I like to know some hints but not everything. I think it's cool to speculate on the names of the houses and zones before the website officially names them.
  21. I have my Hi8 tapes but not my Sony camcorder. On those tapes I have footage from 2000 and 2001 including the entire Bill and Ted Show from 2001. My problem is that I filmed a lot of non-HHN stuff on each tape. Would this be a one day project for you, mz_, or will it take some time? Do you want tapes mailed or would I meet with you and wait while you edit?
  22. Looks like I missed your birthday by a day. Happy belated birthday.

  23. Happy Birthday Dan!

  24. Happy Birthday!

  25. Anything that was mentioned in the Bill and Ted Show reminds me of past HHN and builds the anticipation for the new.
