  1. For those of you who obtained messages for LT, awesome. I am assuming that you have to have been in LT last year to recieve any message? Also, about Gabriel Fell, someone stated Gabriel falling out of heaven. I think of it more of Gabriel, a religous name, and Fel, meaning dark energy is very paradoxical. Since I am new to LT, I must ask, there will be a "window" for all of us non members to join the collective right?
  2. That first idea would be pretty awesome, and I don't think Uni will pass on anything they can get a hold of for BM, because I know the crowd really likes her. I also have to say I really do like the entire speculation of the lantern, so maybe I can summarize it up (General Idea of multiple dreamers) ((the way this is written makes it seem like it is all stated as fact, but it is all speculation, and is in no way trying to Enforce the idea.)) The lantern is a holding place for our beloved icons, and as the flame has grown, it has become more apparent that the icons are trapped inside the lantern with more and more anger. The two X's represent the 20th year of Halloween Horror Nights, and there are many images ON the lantern as well as in the flames of the lantern. Images include ((lanterns design)) Elsa Strict's(Storyteller) reading glasses, Albert Caine's(Caretaker) pocket watch, Jullian Browning's(The Usher) flashlight, images of a clown, and more. ((Flames)) There have been sights of Jack Schmidts(Jack the Clown), Paulo Ravinski(The Director), Albert Caine(The Caretaker) Elsa Strict(Storyteller) and Jullian Browning(The Usher). This further promotes the idea that the icons are indeed Trapped inside the lantern, like a prison. To continue, the lantern is also seen as a countdown/ceremonial timer. As the event approaches the flames have indeed gotten brighter, and flamers flicker stronger. This is the reasoning behind the idea that the lantern may stand for a HHN timer, and will go out at the end of the event, meaning that all our past icons could possibly vanish off the earth, and also ending the festival that is HHN20. Some people also do see the top of the lantern being roots to a tree, and there has been a lot of speculation on trees earlier in the season. But also, if it were to be a tree, than it could symbolize that the fire is underground, in other words, Hell. Thanks for reading:)
  3. As people are talking about the names being codenames, this might also mean that we cannot take ideas from the website. It is most likely just getting people interested in the event before giving us a real theme.'the only thing we can depend on is the lantern.'the rest of the site is dedicated to HHN Past, and may have no correlation to this year.
  4. Thanks lol. Another thing I was thinking about on the website of HHN is the four categories we have. We have Legacy, Characters, Environments and Behind the Screams (Scenes). The BtS portion of the site might be updated the same time as Legendary Truth, and could be where we get our hints for this years events, just as past years we have had BtS videos as the event neared. It would seem weird for them to post a BtS portion and not have it be relevent to this years event.
  5. I have questions regarding the RUN houses. Were they ACTUAL mazes that you could get lost in? Or were they just called mazes, with one path. Also, are you actually running? Because with cramped lines, i dont see how you can run, unless they space out the groups (I am very unfamiliar to these houses) I know these are dumb questions, but I have never been in a RUN house, and I missed it in 16, if that was the year :/
  6. Well when I think of bald people, I think of either a widespread ilness/epidemic, (causing hair loss, and worse symptoms), or, I think of patients. What if they are test subjects for brain surgery (whose heads need it be shaved before surgery, whether it be half or whole),, and doctors are trying to distort the human brain?
  7. I dont know if anyone said this yet, But excellent work Mr.JWFearman.... could you do me a favor and pm me the original frames that you got these icon faces in (since there are sixty, and i am very bad with computers, i wont know how to stop the frames or anything). I just wanna see how Clear the images are from an original frame. But back to speculation. As I had said earlier, this fire may actually very well be the entity of the icons, and once extinguished, will signify the end of our icons, for a long time at least. I am very sturdy in my belief that the lantern is a time-keeper for the HHN event, like I can see them putting it out on Halloween Night, like the end of a festival. It seems to me like a big countdown to a horrific and gory new years party, and I think that is pretty cool. How does everyone else feel about this theory?
  8. Okay. Considering that Universal has given us so many original ideas, I have a feeling that even if the icons are used, it won't be repetitive. I mean, they might be making new houses which are giving the icons less significant roles, while maintaining the integrity of both the atmosphere of the house, and the cohesion of ideas. Also, I have some speculation about the lantern. Since the flame is glowing even brighter, it could do what H_P had said, and "go out", but not for an era of darkness for HHN 20. What if it is a marker for the dates of HHN, like a ceremonial counter? What if the lantern goes out after this year's HHN finishes. That would represent the end of the icons as we know it, like a final farewell. The fire can very well be a figure of the icons existence or presence. It kinda reminds me of the whole HHN 15 year.
  9. Well we kinda need to know Who or What will be at the scaremony. Also we don't even know if we will even have one at all....
  10. Ehh. i think i am obsessed

  11. Okay, someone please correct me if I am wrong. Treaks and foons were originally in IOA for HHN right? Just out of suspicion.
  12. Well, us talking of the validity of the pic will get us nowhere. As for me, I will speculate because, well,'it's all we have. This painting could be representative for an icon. Could there be an "artist" who converts art to reality? I know it's strange, but don't shoot it down. Also, for the XX on the logo. How cool would it be for them to utilize the XX as scars and injuries, like have scareactors with crossed scars where their eyes are, like they were sewn shut and slashed? Or have huge cross slashes on bodies. The creativity could be amazing.
  13. Before we completely discard "the crazies" idea, I must say that Many major components of the plot are very similar to the characters given to us. I looked up this movie and it seems VERY plausible.'the one thing is, I don't believe it's a Universal distributed film. If it is a uni film someone please say so. But everything so far seems so well related to the crazies... Just my two cents.
  14. Hmm...'forgot about that zone, but what I was trying to emphasize was a black and white house. Like a classic movie, not sort of "trippy" feel, but an old-time feel. For instance, on the official HHN Orlando site, the first picture you see for "legacy" is what I am aiming for. Also, I must thank those of you who incorporated the rest of the icons into the whole "lantern making the icons" idea. I like how it's going. All the icons have used light, some more prevalent than others. But the best part is, if universal is using the lantern, they will take away our feeling of security. 'allow me to explain. By incorporating light as the source of fear, we are no longer safe. We go to light because we fear the dark. But now we fear light. We are not safe anywhere. It seems quite paradoxical.
  15. Lol there are tons of vaulters on here now. I myself was Sohrin305 on hhnvault... Now I am sohrin.... huuuge change... But to continue, congrats to all those casted, and in my opinion, I would think that costuming is very difficult to get as well, so, Uber congrats on that as well!
  16. It is a possibility that we are looking into this way too far, but right now, its what we have. I do see the mummy and and the clown very clearly. But for all we know its just as you said, pareidolia. But what I am really wondering is about what I had said earlier. Could the lantern have caused that fire for the burnt wood, or the caretakers house? Is the lantern the "source" of evil for our icons, who could all have held it at one point? Does the lantern torment the souls of its weilders, and drives them to their evil state that we know them as? What do you guys think?
  17. One more thing... Just about this BM thing, and I know we keep dragging it on. But is it still bpossible for Uni to bring Mary in as ONLY the Dr. Agana; this will prevent possible lawsuits over this stupid licensing of an urban legend no, considering it was Universal's Creation? And I have an idea! What if the Burnt Wood was from a fire that was caused BY the lantern? It could even tie in with the Caretaker and his burnt down building. Could it be possible if the lantern twists and distorts the soul of its wielder? Meaning that the "icons" are tied together BY the lantern, which at one point or another drove each and every one of them into their present state? I mean think about it. The lantern and light. Light represents knowledge, or enlightenment. What if it was corrupt enlightenment? And that is what carzy-fies the people, like an unquenchable thirst for evil....
  18. I know this may be a little off topic. But could there be a possibility of us having a completely Black and White haunted house, actors and environment all painted? I mean, it seems classic, and would really fit as a marker for the early years of HHN. This is just an idea that popped into my head after seeing grey planks on the construction thread. So my apologies for randomness.
  19. I could really see this lantern becoming a huge part of the updates. Just as how last year parts of the theatre would update and we got new pictures, what if the lantern were to light up areas of the website that will be "clickable". Also, in respect to this "08 meets 06" idea, I really do see A LOT of characters from part years for auditions. So this is a large possibility. But to me, I am thinking mostly about the lantern... The "root" twisting from the top reminds me of the whole tree concept brought up earlier this year. Maybe it will tie in. A tree has also been noted in Greek mythology on the other thread a while back as well, so it could tie lots of loose ends.
  20. To me, twenty years of fear kind of remind me of the early days and years of HHN, so I think it is appropriate for the theme name. just consider that they may be doing early advertising, and do not want to give up the theme quite yet. This is the same reason why the site is not updated...
  21. Actually I think it is the opposite.. I doubt they will use IOA for a very long time, which is a good thing. Takes too much time to switch parks and US has better settings for houses. Harry Potter will only ADD to the clustering of people in IOA.
  22. So I went on the Hollywood site just now, it said "Information coming soon". When did that change? Because I know it used to say early June. Maybe they realized that they weren't right on schedule?
  23. Not to mention the survey Universal passed out about Express Passes. There may possibly be different kinds this year. I got a survey talking about different grades of fast passes, including an unlimited all house and ride ticket (for all rides open that is). I am not bluffing, but I may be slightly incorrect, but has anyone else recieved that survey, just to verify my info?
  24. So I did a direct link to the tickets page and it said,,, "We've recently redesigned our site, and the link you are looking for has changed. You will be redirected to the homepage in 10 seconds, or you can click here." This of course is talking about the conversion of HHN 19 to HHN20, but I almost freaked.
  25. Lol I gave that idea earlier in the thread, I like the father daughter reunion of Albert and Cindy. But just everyone remember please; The speculation thread is meant for the sharing of ideas. That means everyones ideas, old or new. We are only sharing ideas from what we know so far, which isn't that much. With more details, we will be able to focus and be more precise and accurate with our ideas, but for now, opinions really do count. Also, about the entire Roddy conversation, it doesn't really matter. Unless Roddy or someone else would like to comment on why he left, or what he put into HHN 20, we will never know. (Apologies for my contrite behavior) Now back to speculation. The idea of reunion can really mean a lot of things. In general many think of a family reunion, thus incorporating all icons into the event. But there are reunions such as a father and his daughter, a brother with his brother, or any loved ones for that matter. Incorporating the idea of the tree, I see that it may be the representation of all our icons being connected for some reason, whether it be by blood, a common trait, or goal. Going of tangent, but usually a reunion coincides with "Communion", not meant to be taken in religous terms. But communion, in a literal point of view, means that when the people join together, it usually represents a bond. This usually happens, in literature while eating. Eating is essential, we all do it, but it is more than that. Note how the four icons of 16 were all around a cake to celebrate HHN. That is their communion. So this could be represented in HHN 20. Another idea of reunion really shocked me in similarity. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0460672/ <-- this link actually goes to a series called... "Reunion". It is funny that it is a suspense series. It takes place for a highschool reunion, (the 20th year if I may add), and one person is murdered. The rest are put on trial. What if HHN is like this. Kind of like a "clue" who dunnit? kind of thing? I know its not that creative, but it is original. Lastly, I am going back to "arts and crafts". Of course, I earlier posted about arts and crafts being about either "Darkarts and Witchcraft", or the work of Cindy. I am now leaning towards Cindy. It makes sense in almost all sections. I mean, a reunion with her father, Arts and Crafts being a play thing for her. Shady Oaks is not only the name of Alberts Graveyard, but its also a "tree"(oak tree). And shady kinda gives itself away. Plus, the funeral home was burnt down, and what comes after fire? A birth of new life, a renewal from new soil, also usually identified with a tree. Renewal being a "new era of darkness", what if Cindy takes over her fathers job? Now I am sorry if I rambled on, but these are just some things I have been holding in and could not let myself contain it anymore. Thanks for reading
