  1. Yeah, it was pretty ridiculous. I don't normally let myself get pulled into one of those, but sometimes we all fall prey to it.

Sad thing is I think I started that accidentally by asking someone how they knew it wasn't a ouija board for sure. I actually said "how can you be so sure". I came back a few days later and boom it exploded. Oops haha. Anyway we should have known since we've known about the "Rune Room" for what seems like 6 months.

I had to edit this because I looked back and it was you Minij83 that I asked that. I was thinking you had inside info or something haha. Sorry that started trouble for you, it wasn't my intention.

  2. no, nowhere, you are right to point this out, and in 7 is only 2 guys, that's it, 2 guys in the entire park with cainsaws, :/ I mean, I don't recall seeing anyone else

The glasses, that's funny, in 07 you kept them, Now you keep them too, but they ask you to please give them back if you want, but, no one forces you to give them, there is a box where you can drop them, but, these are cardboard glasses, plus the rain, mine got totally ruined, don't know why the want us to give them back since most people are going to probably bend them or break them, but yeah you could keep them,

Rip Ride Rockit, I think Express works Im not sure, All I know is that they have a Single Rider option like in men in black, the line said 30 minutes for regular line, but single rider the like was like 25 minutes, but the regular line looked like it was probably 40 minutes, I was near the platform where you go in the cars but i was there for a while, still really glad they have single rider

I love it, I think I might try to do it once a day of HHN, is just so awesome

Thanks, call me cheap but I'm glad we can keep the glasses. It's a free souvenir and I like free, I spend too much on souvenir's anyway. As for the single rider entrance for HRRR that's good for me. My wife hates roller coasters, hopefully express works though because that'll be even quicker.

  3. Went through this zone legitimately last night around 11:30 and the sexy ladies dancing to some Manson was very very cool.

You just sold me on this zone. Beautiful women dancing to Manson is a must see, I just hope one of them doesn't flip out by the end of HHN because of having to listen to Beautiful People over and over.

  4. lol I'm afraid it's not Evil Bong.

Totally separate story, but in 2008 we watched Idle Hands one night during our breaks. I'd never seen it before. That movie is almost as ridiculous as Evil Bong. hah

I'm almost embarrassed to say I own that too. Both Idle Hands and Evil Bong are worth watching for the cheese factor.

I'm excited for this zone now that I've heard a bit more about it. I really wasn't intrigued when I first heard about this one. It seems like from what the people who have seen it are saying I'm going to enjoy it.

  5. OH MY GOD :o

Hollywood Rip Ride Rock it was OPEN, and i did it for the first time, That thing was Amazing! it rocked, i know this is not news to anyone (that it rocks) but it was my first time ever,

and it was opened, During HHN, finally!!! :) now lets see how long it stays open

I haven't been on it either. I can't wait until I finally get to go. Do express passes work for that ride? I also have a question about the glasses for the in-between do we get to keep them or do we have to return them like at the movies? I know that you used to be able to keep them I'm just wondering if that changed.

  6. Well the event has gained steam... people should anticipate lines no matter what! :)

I know a lot of people don't like considering that there is an express pass. but... there is an express pass. :) Not yelling at you, I am yelling at those trolls

I always buy an express pass so I know your not yelling at me. It pisses me off when trolls talk like that on facebook so yell away.

  7. I'm not seeing very nice things about people on facebook's experience tonight. Rain may play a small part in that but 60 minute waits for every house this early surprised me.........Ok I had to edit this. I sent out for the text message and The longest wait right now is for BloodenGutz, SNS and Nevermore at 45 minutes. Other waits are as little as 10 minutes or as much as 25. Maybe facebook trolls just trying to bring the event down?

  8. I'm not there but according to the android app, all lines are at 60 minutes. That seems very long for an opening night in September. Most years I've been there on opening night they don't get that long until after 10...and that's usually just the one by Jaws because it gets swarmed with people leaving Bill and Ted.

I saw that too. I can't believe how bad it is. I wonder if it's just an opening night rush or if it's going to be like that every night.

  9. Reviews are about opinions. Everyone has a different opinion and as long as it is honest, well thought out and constructive i don't think anyone should criticise it. It's rare that two people will ever have the same views of a house they see so lets keep that in mind and be supportive of those who take the time to post reviews for us. While i may not agree with everything i read when i experience the event for myself i appreciate reading other views. Thanks for putting in the effort.

Very well said Jason. Just because he hated the event except for Nevermore doesn't mean we will. I've seen a 10/10 rating for The In-Between and Nightingales, I've also heard good things about Winters Night. It's personal preference and everyone needs to remember that was just employee preview. HHN always seems to improve as the event rolls on.

  10. You also edited my post where I said "with a discount".

With a discount...they are. With an Annual Pass they're about $35. For employees a lot better.

I see your point for employees and annual pass holders but I'm not one of them. It's a moot point for me anyway. I may have broken down and bought one just to "support the cause" but it seems they may be sold out by the time I get down there on the 19th. If they still have them I may buy one depending on what my finances look like even though I'm disappointed with the design. By the way I wasn't bitching when I posted my last post. I was just pointing out I could easily have one made for less than half of the price.

  11. I didn't see them last night, but definitely heard them as we were walking towards Grown Evil. Adds a new type of ambiance to the overall atmosphere of the event.

That's why I want to see it. It's just something different that adds a new level to the event. Some may like it, some may hate it but nobody can deny it's something new for HHN.

  12. well they can totally go to the event, but maybe they should avoid this house all together, problem solved i think

I mean, is only this one house that is causing this problem, not the entire event, i know seems super unfair but, if like you said the safety or the scareactors is at risk then, i dont know... they are just doing their job after all, of course drunks and a-holes always mess with the scareactors, but this seems a little more problematic

Yea to me just skip that one house and your fine. Problem solved.

  13. MAybe if you had turned around you would have senn me breathing down your neck

You should have used the distraction to scare the crap out of her. That's what I would have done anyway. Send her away knowing the next time she's in your scarezone she better not be focused on the technology.

  14. So Tent is the new sound stage sweet...

I am glad we have lowered our standards over the years

I don't think anyone has lowered their standards. Everyone on here can be just as critical of a house as ever. I don't see anyone saying that a tent house is the new soundstage house. He just said that the SNS house reminds him of a tent house. As far as I'm concerned soundstage houses have been better than tent houses, tent houses have been better that queue houses. All he was implying is that this queue house has the detail and feel of a tent house.

  15. I would have to think this would get better as the event goes along. The scareactors are just learning what to do when it comes to the maze moving and what not. From what I hear it can only get better from here on out.

  16. WWI trench warfare is not the same as modern day. I don't see the relevance of this at all. Other than the noises the setting should not affect anyone. Unless they are very sensitive and then any one of the houses could be an issue.

Someone with PTSD is very likely to be set off by gunshots or someone pointing a gun at them. I'll reserve an opinion until I go through the house but as I've said before I understand why members of our armed forces with PTSD would or could be set off by this house.
