  1. Go for it dude that's what this thread is here for
  2. From where? >_>

  3. I agree. It seems to me like people are getting the idea that just because the scarezone was a glimpse into this year, they assume the entire year is going to be based around that one scarezone. It was a teaser people. I have the feeling we're going to have more on our hands than just a reunion.
  4. I didn't say that the fans don't like the media icons. I was referring to the fact that the main draw for the GP is recognizable characters, and while that's all fine and dandy, the general consensus with diehards is that we like to see some form of original content every year be it in the form of a few houses, an icon, a theme, or a story. Don't put words in my mouth James If they could find a way to base a house around many video games, that would be great. Idk if I would really enjoy a house based around just the GoW series. But since the 2 scenes we got are only 2 scenes apart, it could be. Personally though, the Medusa and Army of Hades have a much larger role in myths than just the God of War series and I'd think that this would just be a house based around Greek mythology in general, and not necessarily a video game that revolves around the same premise. Just doesn't seem very likely to me. :\
  5. Great post Dr. Jimmy. And I personally believe that it would be foolish not to think that A&D reads these boards among others to get some insight into what the fans want to see and to get some ideas. The fans have got to get SOMETHING while the GP gets their media icons. And what better way to find out what we want then reading the fansites of the event you're creating?
  6. 2002 was my first year as well. Same thing with me. But I didn't get to do Maximum Carnage :\ My first house was Evilution which was AWESOME.
  7. They added a Kanye joke to the 2009 show, but couldn't fully do anything because that happened so close to HHN. But considering that happened in 2009, I don't think they'll add it to the show again this year.
  8. Off topic here, but I was chased into the bathroom twice during HHN 13 and the scareactor stood outside of the stall I had locked myself in and kept saying "come out come out wherever you are!" While everyone either ran out or stood around laughing. I REALLY miss that stuff. Being 13 years old at the time, I was almost in tears. Definitely one of the things that helped propel HHN 13 to my favorite year.
  9. I would enjoy that. I think someone mentioned this earlier "elsewhere" but still a good idea nonetheless.
  10. That was me Feel free to post your Pirate idea in this thread http://www.horrornightnightmares.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=694&pid=7778&st=0&#entry7778
  11. A Magic themed year with a magician would be pretty freaking awesome. Think of all the mind tricks they could play with. Just even thinking about it makes me sick x_x And Universal could show off alot of their tricks that made them so popular, like they did in the CoC Opening Scaremonies with HHN 17. Would also be a good excuse to add another show. A magic show, with all sorts of gory, creepy, crazy tricks. Perhaps in the AA stage?
  12. Let's hear what's floating around your head for what you'd like to see at a future event! (Note that the purpose of this thread is to present your own original story or theme for HHN. I don't want to see "OMG WOULDNT IT BE LIEK SO AWSUM 2 COMBINE A FREDDY AND JASON HOUS WIT THE SCARY TALES CHARCTERS!?") Something I'd really like to see would be a Voodoo theme with a Witch Doctor icon. There's a TON of paranormal and just generally creepy stuff surrounding the whole Voodoo premise that could be awesome if implemented correctly. They could make use of some really crazy designs (temples, huts, shrunken heads, crazy rituals) and effects (lots and lots of fire!) Pitch your ideas, I want to hear them
  13. Seriously. I'm tired of seeing the same icons every year. Personally though, I'd rather see rehashed icons then more media crap. I love the Freddy, Michael, Jason, Saw, Chucky, etc. movies but we've been there done that already. I don't know why people insist on seeing this stuff year after year. It doesn't add as much diversity between years as they used to have from 2002-2005. For those years, almost everything was different every year. Completely original icons, completely original story, and completely original houses and scarezones. Something completely new to look forward to every year.
  14. Completely agree. I don't want another rehashed year of nothing but rehashes. I want original ideas damnit!
  15. Agreed. The only thing that I would see hard to transition from the house to the streets would be the sense of anxiety, where you can't tell where you're going and you can't tell what's coming, what's real. Everything was just so confusing. It really messed with all of my senses. Strobes were a big part of that, but they can't bring strobes into the streets. Another thing Universal would screw up is the blacklights. Knowing how they normally do things, they'd only put 2-3 in the SZ and to get the full effect it would require many more.
  16. That's what I'm talking about. Black lights, white paint, zombies, with some fog. Set in the 20-40's. Would be pretty cool imo. I disagree. While I think a Deadtropolis SZ would be easier to accomplish, a true Dead Exposure SZ would be incredible if executed well. It would be hard, but I think it could be pretty freaking cool.
  17. I'd like to see a SZ version of Dead Exposure
  18. As he said, expand the storyline. They wouldn't just go "herp derp Cindy controls everyone cause we said so." I could see it happening with something like she's not just a 7 or 8 year old little girl, but rather an entity that's been alive for hundreds of years that the Caretaker has been "nurturing" into something much more evil. Just a thought. And I think everyone is excited to see more of Cindy because she has some story to her, but we haven't seen her fleshed out like some of the other icons.
  19. At this point it's all speculation. They have a couple of empty stages to work with, so they could add a new show or two if they wanted. However I believe if they did add a new show, they would add it to a larger stage like the Animal Actors stage or even Terminator. RHPS isn't insanely popular, which is why it was always on the Beetlejuice stage. Maybe they had larger interest in it last year and found the seats being filled quickly, so they'll move it to Terminator. Idk.
  20. BP is the majority owner of the oil field where the spill is located. Basically, a drilling rig exploded and that's why were in this mess. Everyone is mad at BP because they have failed time and time again to meet deadlines to fix this problem, and it was recently discovered that they didn't pay some million dollars to enforce safety measures in case this happened. So they saved a a few bucks and now we have this huge disaster because of it and they're not really trying to fix it which is why responsibility was handed over to the government. Note - I understand this topic isn't about the oil spill. I was just clearing things up. If you want any more info, google it. It's all over the place. BACK ON TOPIC
  21. It's good for going to the park, but if you're looking for actual benefits like paid holidays, insurance, etc. then I'd stay far away.
  22. Not really, you get into the parks for free and a small discount on merch and some restaurants outside of the parks. You don't get much else unless you're a FT team member.
