  1. Seriously man. And then you go and post a TTGL motivator in Random Pictures. Are you me from the future?

  2. I think it's exactly what it says. Coming Soon. They wouldn't want to release the entire update all at once. That wouldn't be any fun They're going to tease us bit by bit. I expect another tab to open up in another 2-3 weeks.
  3. My friend and I do the same thing. Look's like I'll be there 20 nights this year (TM Preview included ;P)
  4. I've got slow video as well with my PC running at 9% CPU usage and 15% RAM. It's more than likely from the bandwidth issues caused by so many people visiting the site at once. I'm sure it will be better tomorrow. If not, we can probably blame bad coding from the programmers
  5. I love the clean look of the site. There's not random buttons strewn all over the place. It's a very simple, yet effective design. I'm currently going through all of the tabs. This could take awhile. There's a lot of good footage and facts in here. Kudos to Universal.
  6. Chill out guys. I've seen people fired from Uni for a ton of reasons, but I won't get into that here because it's not the place for it. Take your debate to PMs or drop it altogether. Let's keep this thread for speculating the event. Thanks.
  7. AND you have a Big Lebowski reference as your profile pic? I think we'll get along just fine.

  8. First comment. Just wanted to say you're pretty awesome for liking both Deadpool and FLCL. Added you as a friend.

  9. I just wanted to add that showing up early shows initiative. It puts you one step ahead of everyone else. And while it's not a huge factor, I'm sure it helps.
  10. That was my video Edit: For those who want to see it, here it is. The specific part is at :35.
  11. Do I think they should? No. But do I think they should be allowed to if they want to? Absolutely. They should have the choice to be able to pose for a picture if they want. But they shouldn't be forced one way or the other.
  12. Good luck to everyone tomorrow. Looking forward to this thread exploding in the next 24 hours.
  13. Great shots. I'd have to agree that it'd not very likely we get another 2-story house. I could really only see it used as placement for a scareactor.
  14. 1) Twenty Years of Fear sounds fine. It's nice and simple. 2) I love the gritty, grunge look to the poster. 3) The font they chose is great. Makes it look really good without going too over the top like with recent years. I'm not a fan of crazy, wacky fonts.
  15. Imagine the whole "We Will Rock You" opening theme that's synonymous with the show being done with vuvuzelas.
  16. That's a huge factor. Same thing happens at the disaster house when RHPS dumps. They come out of a show, and they usually want to hit a house. Boom, there's one right there and wait times jump 10-15 mins for RHPS and 20-30 for BnT. And considering there's a BnT show every what, 45 minutes? Add all those people on top of the normal amount of people going into the house and you've got a hell of a wait time booster, especially for the Jaws house.
  17. Just to add, there is a lot of violence that could easily escalate to something deadly if the metal detectors weren't implemented. When I worked Mummy at HHN '08, we had at least one fight in our queue every 2 days, sometimes 2-3 a night. I had to hold two girls back from throwing each other in the ride track at port unload at Mummy for a couple of minutes while security ran up to get them. Though most fights happened in the dig site (the room where you go up the stairs to the load platform, with the hanging Anubis statue) and it's incredibly hard for security to get through there in a timely manner. I've seen tons of people escorted out with bloody faces and broken noses. And that's just at one attraction. After the fight with the 2 females, I had to go down to processing and write a witness statement and explain what happened, and there was a LINE of people in handcuffs. Most was for fighting, but some were for stealing or trespassing. There's a lot of violence at HHN. I've seen it first hand on more occasions then I can count on both hands. I couldn't imagine what the outcome of some of these fights would've been if people could smuggle weapons into the park.
  18. Not if it was small, I'm sure. But I doubt that's what it is anyway. I'm guessing it's just a prop.
  19. Exactly. They would never use burnt wood as support structure. It may be a prop though. Or who knows, maybe they just had a fire while cutting the structure lumber and didn't throw it away yet.
  20. Easily my biggest peeve at HHN is the douchebags that try to crack jokes/harass the scareactors and act tough in front of their friends/girlfriends. I'm going to punch one in the face one of these days, and I'm not even a scareactor.
  21. If you're going on a Saturday you could always go to the one in Citywalk (It's usually on select Saturday nights, but it's 100x better than the HHN one)
  22. Negative, the queue never ran through a lockout tagout area. They wouldn't have been able to do the night cycling that they did the last couple of weeks.
  23. It wasn't open last year because of the Frankenstein queue running through the SS33 courtyard which was a target for flying objects (I said this 752983452 times last year and nobody believed me, despite me WORKING AT ROCKIT). They've since put nets up to prevent objects from flying into said courtyard, but I'm not sure as to how effective they are. We'll just have to wait and see when the time comes.
  24. Love the sarcasm, and I don't feel it is necessary but I do think is dissuades people from bringing weapons into the park. Sure there are ways around the metal detector (which I won't get into here) but when people know they're going to be screened they usually leave weapons at home.
