  1. Very true.  Funny how that worked out.  Having the barricades there was definitely a good move for traffic flow.

Told you there was a plan.

This zone was so pretty! I loved walking through this zone so much, and got scared every single time by the bushes looking things. (No idea what you would actually call them).

This zone was super foggy this past weekend so I could hardly see a thing in it at some parts, but that definitely wasn't a bad thing! The zone was definitely tight and at some points was a little hard to walk through so I would hate to see it when the park gets super packed in a  couple weeks.

Glad you liked it!  They are called Ghillies.

  2. ^ Exactly.

Case in point: my first location in Catacombs was simply be pulling a curtain back and leaning out.  It was quick, easy and had a fast reset.  Could do it all night long with no issue. A few weeks later I shifted down to the end of my room where the scare was a short 10-15' hallway which I would sprint down straight at the guest pathway.  Half-way down the hall was my e-prompt.  This set-up, while extremely effective, was physically exhausting.  Add in the fact that the e-prompt would reset every 30 seconds, made for some occasional sparse scares.

  3. I'm sorry but all I'm getting from this is National Treasures, and how the hell could that be HHN. It's a disney movie anyway lol...

Between you and legacy the comments have been

    "would be historic"

"well it is an Anniversary Year"

"never this close, never like this"

    "unless marketing saves the day"

and the quoted one above, and maybe i'm just missing something but im drawing up blanks.

I never defined who we are.

  4. I don't know what's up with the latest forum update, but every time I try to post, I get a random quote.  Anyway, people are slipping.  Legacy's continued use of "Historic" doesn't sound like a coincidence to me.  Sounds planned.  Surprised nobody is searching and speculating on what that could mean.  Of course, I live 1200 miles away, have no sources, and can't think of anything smart to say...but historic sounds like a clue to me.

We've all but given it away.  If you can't search through the clues and figure it out, do yourself a favor and never steal the Declaration of Independence.

  5. Oh I get that. I mean like why would a building ever have something like that in real life? Showers? But odds are there aren't showers behind those curtains. Get what I'm trying to say?

Stop looking so far into it.  It's called suspension of disbelief.

  6. The problem with that backstage area is that in addition to the HVAC and dumpsters for Mel's, it's a large staging area for all the beer, food and shot girls for HHN.

Since there is no other area nearby they could shift those operations to, it won't be used in that capacity anytime soon.

  7. I just remembered this, but I'm really glad I got one last startle out of you. You were giving on of the other peckers in my room hand hearts and then when you turned around I was right in your face. The look on your face was classic; like you didn't know what to do.

Hell, you even got me (granted, I was singing along with a certain Irish doctor)!

The final paragraph in the museum portion of the house began with the phrase; "Mankind has always been intrigued by Death." Grammatically, the word "death" should NOT be capitalized there. It's obviously intentional, and capitalizing it personifies death (much the same way Fear is the personification of fear). When you throw in the fact that the rest of the paragraph talks, rather bluntly, about how everything must end and you must fill that time with something suitable while anticipating a new beginning, it begins to eerily correlate with the events of HHN.

While I now think this is the main clue (since only us Doctors could really see the Latin phrase), it still can fit back with Latin phrase (violent death, sleep...) If you want to email me the phrase, I've got a friend who knows Latin. He should be able to figure out the other words.

  8. With the event now over, I want to send a special thanks to both casts of Catacombs. You all are AMAZING! If you look at the pre-event levels of the fans expectations of the houses, Catacombs was almost at the bottom of everyone's. Now look at the post-event ranking of the houses and Catacombs is right at the top. Both casts rock! You all did a GREAT job and you deserved to be recognized for that. Know that what you experienced being a part of a Catacombs cast may go down as some of your best experiences ever as a scareactor. You all had something very unique and always remember that in your future years of being a HHN scareactor.

For another thanks, a HUGE shoutout goes to the fans! If not for you, this house affectionately referred to as Cats 'n' Combs may not have been the great success that it turned out to be. For all of your trips through to see us, for all of your combing, creating pecker pins, saying great things about our house, etc., etc., etc., THANK YOU! You definitely made this scareactor's experience very memorable. We did greatly appreciate everything that you all did. Many many many thanks and know how much our hardcore fans were loved by all of us.

To every Firecrew or ABU that was an honorary skeleton, mummified corpse, or plague doctor for one night or many nights, thank you for everything that you all do! Without you all, the house would not have been able to produce the consistency that it achieved.

    And that's a wrap.

    +1 B)

I honestly couldn't have said it better myself!
