I know we are still waiting on the original house announcements....but I just don't undertand some of Uni's choices here. WE have a festival, which is supposedly a quasi-over-arching theme, but no leader to said activity? Are we in for another surprise here, but why would you announce the Icon last if so? But if we are really just getting this zone of mascots instead an Icon, I'm not sure how much sense it makes. I thought Uni had seen the errors of their ways when we finally returned to having them 2 years ago. It has to be easier to drive advertising, marketing, in-park merchandising sales, etc. (I'm sure we could think of more). Hopefully we get hit with a surprise outta left field...unless someone else can shed light on any of this?

Anyone else here of this new haunt in Orlando? It's called Beast of the Blackwood, seems pretty interesting! They say they are part haunted trail part escape room...hopefully it can deliver...maybe I can get to it, just depends on what weekends i can skip to MCO for HHN!!

I'm not sold on no Icon. I think it would be a huge mistake, I feel like with an icon driving the event its a money machine. Merchandising sales have to skyrocket, when you got a face to put on it. Nevermind the atomsphere is way better, i know maybe chance wasnt the biggest success of all time. But abandoning an idea the has worked in the past, and that was brought back, and to me probably succeded better than 23 & 24 would be a huge misstep. Thought that lesson was learned from the lost years!! Now I was trying to look at everything for both events, house locations...common ip's/original usage...only came to a few deadends that don't make sense. 1. Walking dead was at both 2. Each year had a soundstage host 2 haunts (locations both years are very similiar but not exact)

Also probably a really dumb question, I know a decent portion of HHN past just from reading here and multiple other sites. I have only been going to HHN each year starting with 22. Did the twitter banner for HHN ORL change, and if so who is the character in it? When lapping his face directly over the skull with roses, seems like a perfect match?

What if the property is Emerald City? It was a brand new show on NBC this past year...maybe it is getting a second season? The show was based on in the OZ univerese, and had a lot to do with witches...and an arching story of technology vs. magic. Just don't know if it was popular enough, but I enjoyed the show.

The last two tweets make it sound as if Eddie is involved? As if not to compare him to Jack, and if im not mistaken he was disfigured by fire which exaplins the flames and tindering. What if Orlando instead of getting the walking dead (which I assumed at some point in time will be made in orladno) instead got an AHS permanent walk-through attraction? Could this be why we have an accelerated schedule of houses compared to Hollywood? Just food for thought!!

So Mike on twitter just mentioned about not being on NY time, and a NY set....with a pic of the cover art of the 1980 movie inferno? Can we gather anything from this?? I'm not coming up with anything, but just putting it out there if anyone else can draw a connection?
