AHS or a smirk of superiority?

Guessing the lineup:
TCM
Exorcist
TWD
The Conjuring
One more Classic IP
Ghost Town
Bug/Egyptian themed maze (whatever Cobweb is)
A 3D House
A new original
There's too much conflicting info on Krampus for me to buy into it right now.

He also mentioned that the codenamed "Cobweb" house is taking over the Tent 1 space (prev. purge). Nice to get confirmation on that.
Figured as much, so TCM is confirmed for Tent 2.

I missed him saying it was an original.
But I take nothing back...
TWD?
For the requel, a western house has been rumored and since Legacy is saying 2004 would fit, could it be Ghost Town?

There will be at least one show. Jabawockeez implied they would be back on their Twitter. Seven houses, a show, TWD, and Potter is going to eat up capacity like crazy.
I think foodstamps brought this up, but Galin said that we may not be getting Krampus this year. Murdy did say that the letter "k" appears once in the line up. You know what else is rumored in the Orlando thread?
Killer Clowns from Outter Space.
Murdy loves clowns, fans have requested this a lot, and the movie screams material for the obligatory 3D house. Looks like we'll be sharing that. What do you guys think?
Killer Klowns has two Ks.

That was in Dollhouse of the Damned.
Based on our two IP's, here's my wishful thinking:
We get the Usher back as an icon.
All of the houses are based on movie IP's: TCM, Excorist, Killer Klowns, Alfred Hitchcock, Purge, Classic Universal Monsters, Krampus, This Is The End, and...
2014's Halloween is brought back.
Scarezones are based on TV...Walking Dead, American Horror Story, and Twin Peaks (super wishful thinking there).
BriMan is saying The Purge won't be a house.

Curious on what you think!
The Exorcist is a great movie but doesn't really translate into a house. I like that A&D is going to get creative on this one so it really could go either way.

This will be... interesting.

So is this going in the MIB queue?

If TCM happens and goes in the MIB queue, waits will be even worse than Insidious

AWIL is the only "literal direct" repeat Orlando has ever done. Not like it matters because the tweet is in reference only to Hollywood (where literal direct repeats use to be fairly common but are far less so now).
As it stands, even if the tweet applied to the East Coast it doesn't tell Orlando anything we don't already know. I still say, with confidence, that TWD will in some capacity be one of our 9 houses.*zombie groan*
This season is going to translate terribly to a house.

Good point and I didn't pry (or even really care) just things that hit my desk. Mostly just because I said I'd keep you all abreast with what I've heard. At least to the level I can.
But be that as it may, IP lists are locked down on the Universal level at this point. They know what they are pursuing to make deals with. Whether those deals pan out or not are completely another thing. Hence what I heard was a long list of IPs that they, (allegedly) are pursuing.
Anyway,
This gives me a glimmer of hope with TWD. I know the schlocky science they use has postponed decay in the zombies. What I didn't know (because I stopped watching) was that the zombies are now in the black purification stage (which is when the brain becomes a black puddle of goo) nor did I know the entire last series was a span of two days. It does seem like the creators are realizing the zeds are living on borrowed time. Couple that with Reedus most likely dying off soon, and the shows may be about done. Or at least change it's dynamic. Which, honestly, it should. Zombies really aren't the focal point and only a cheap point device to keep the show moving, and to inject tension, at this point. Sure, have one every once in a while but own up to what the show is really about. The living... dead walking... whatever you want to call them. There is no way this thing will end in any other way than everyone dying if the zombie masses stay around. There is no cure. So it's only a matter of time before everyone (even the stars) go bye bye.
Anyway this is a good watch. But if Daryl dies they riot
AMC isn't letting this show end, not for another few years. It's still the highest rated show on TV by a wide margin.

Has A&D ever attempted to get The Shining rights? AHS will never happen because they've tried getting the rights at least twice already.

I'm calling this year, The Year of the Sprung Tent. They are losing so many house locations this year I think they'll have no choice to do one of these two options. Acquire another or 2 more sprung tents and place them around Universal, or the smarter opinion would be to open up both parks but keep the rides to a minimum if having any open.
I would put all the original content and less popular houses in IOA with a connection back to Universal where the big IP houses will be. They could also finally have a reason to use the theater in Toon Lagoon (if it's still operational) and The Carnage Warehouse one more time. At least until most of the construction is over and they gain more people eater rides to thin out the crowd.
Also if they have King Kong open during the event that will pull a lot of the crowds as well. Seems like a win win but they don't pay me the big bucks so I would have no clue if it is a good idea logistically or not.
The MIB queue is probably where the 9th house is going this year, they don't need 2 parks yet IMO

If you don't like something because you're sensitive to it then do not go, do not try to create a public backlash to shut it down.
It's disappointing to hear some of you being this sensitive.
That said, it's worse that I hear support for incredibly mediocre IPs. God forbid they have to use an IP then at least do something that hasn't been done before in the typical sense.
* Purge = we've seen it, twice, let it go.
* TWD = we've seen it, let it go.
* Ash vs Evil Dead = we've seen it, let it go
* Krampus = we've basically seen it over the years (Home for the Holidays, Bloodngutz), let it go.
* Hitchcock = we saw Poe's house, which was mediocre, and Hitchcock's movies will not translate well to a house (they're dramatic, not horror for the most part). Let it
All of these are garbage properties. At least try to bring something in that'd be pretty cool to see if they're doing an IP at all.

Fowl Owlerson isn't a reliable source, but it's something to talk about: http://attractionsmagazine.com/rumor-queue-top-theme-park-rumors-2016/
Two parks is possible
No icon has been set yet
Houses being discussed:
AHS
Krampus
HP Lovecraft
Hitchcock
TCM
Ash vs Evil Dead
The Purge
TWD

Given that the house is exclusive to Hollywood I'd be surprised if it's The Conjuring.

I would love to see Bloodengutz back in some form, whether as the icon or just in a sequel house. Great character and a strong premise.
I know RUN went for the whole 80's thing this year, but I'd like to see something a little more overt. Maybe some kind of house set in an 80's arcade. Make it scary and fun and colorful, but not necessarily 3D.
I'm not sure if HHN has ever touched on the Civil War, but thats something I think could be very intense.
And this is really just wild wishful thinking here, but I would love to see Pink Floyd's The Wall made into a house. I know it would never happen, but I can't help but think about how amazing it could be. The animated segments of the movie have plenty of crazy looking characters to use, the soundtrack is already written, and I can't help but imagine how creepy it could be to walk down a hall made entirely of those iconic white bricks with that equally iconic riff playing on an endless loop.
Again, this is just blind wishful thinking on my part. I think we all enjoy a little armchair imagineering once in a while.
Submit that to Murdy.

Hell to the Chief! - A parody house of a presidential candidate with horrible hair that does all kinds of crazy crap resulting in him dying a horrible death. Like his hair getting caught in a helicopters rotor and chopping him up. And his adversary, a crazy bitch who gets in just as much trouble. Then they duke it out in ridiculous fashion and one comes out the winner at the end ala Freddy vs Jason.
Oh my God yes! Too bad it would never happen.

AHS will never happen, that ship has sailed. I'm going with:
Purge
Conjuring
TWD
FVJ
KrampusAn original
-
Assuming there's 6 houses again, it's easy to see why it's locked so early:
The Purge and The Conjuring are shoe ins
FVJ comes to Hollywood a year after Orlando a la Halloween
TWD comes back because Murdy wants it
Krampus was a success for Universal and Murdy has experience with Dark Christmas
That leaves just one left.

I think TWD would go in MIB, test the waters in a new location with something a bit barebones.
