I'm hoping it's the latter of those two. Maybe it's because they won't have TWD this year?

The HHN site has been updated with new dates: September 18-November 1
-
Could the multiple voices mean multiple icons will be back?
-
It's still TWD and we have still seen the characters and environments many times before.
To be fair, they could make a comic book look in the house. That'd be pretty neat.

Hmm, there were 3 years between the big three and House of Horrors, maybe it's a trend?

Who says Chucky/Child's Play has to be a house? Mike said they've been working on scarezones.

The candle room was in last year's house.Remember, I'm pretty sure season 4 ended when they got to Terminus. Season 5 starts there and almost immediately there is the throat slitting, Carol's Arnold Schwarzenegger assault on Terminus, and an all out fiery walker/termite battle on the way out. The room where Carol kills Gareth's mom was a pretty cool looking room, if I remember correctly. I don't think we walked through there, but if we did, we were getting herded by gunfire.
None of that Terminus stuff was covered last year since it hadn't happened yet. There is still plenty that happened already, nevermind what's to come, that could be used to make a house.
As big of a fan as I am of TWD, I wouldn't mind much if it were to go. 3 years in a row is more than enough and there is nothing wrong with variety. If it stays, hopefully they can at least match what they did last year or come up with a new concept using it.

I hope it's every maze this time instead of just most of them.
It could be possible if Orlando sticks with 8 houses and the Sequel/Anniversary house is the only one Hollywood doesn't get.
-
Really? I only went through once and must have missed that part. Oh well...
Terminus was the two rooms before the chain fence. Several cannibals were firing guns at you.
-
The only other location I can think of would be the food bank where Bob was bitten. Who knows what other new environments we may see before the end of the season, but I'm going to guess that it wont be many. (Considering where the group has just arrived)
The one thing that I could see them doing different with the property would be using the Terminus cannibal hunters as scareactors. At least it would be something besides a house full of slow, stumbling zombies.
The food bank scene would be impossible since it was all in water. What do you mean by using the cannibals as scareactors? They were already that last year

I'm betting (and hoping) on AHS being our 2015 mega house. It definitely makes the most sense. TWD surely hasn't shown enough substance thus far to support another extra large house. I'm not a huge AHS fan, but I'm hoping that it's the property that finally sends TWD packing this year.
It doesn't even have enough this season to warrant another house. I mean, there's not really a lot they could do:
The church
The fire truck
The hospital escape tunnel
The barn
There's always the possibility they reuse Terminus like they did with the prison, but it feels like they've done everything with Terminus.
Hmm, that could work. 5 of one IP in a year is still crazy, though.
-
I'm shuddering at the idea of 5 houses for AHS. Murder House doesn't even have enough for an entire house.

Do you mean the extended queue for the Hogwarts Express? The one that took over part of the Disaster! extended queue? To my knowledge, that queue ended up not being needed. (And it stole a portion of house space). I'm hoping it goes away and we get that portion back.
I'm referring to the one between Diagon and Fear Factor that's highlighted on the image.
-
I'm not sure the Gringotts/Diagon extended queue will be possible with Summer crowds.
-
Yeah, I think this clue is hinting towards more (much needed) houses.

Welcome. I like they way you think. But I can't shake the feeling that there will be a lot more IPs. I don't expect Hitchcock though either.
As for ritual, as the others said, It takes place in a house where satanic rituals happened. A child moves in to find out something very dark now lives there.
Given that it's the 25th anniversary, I'm hoping market will ease up on the IPs. One tie in house is a given at this point, and if the Dark Christmas rumors end up being true they could call the house "Dark Christmas featuring Krampus".
-
From what I could tell, it was a house about things coming from under the bed and it would have been 3D. May want to check with someone else on that.
That would make an interesting house. Maybe it could fit in with Legendary Truth?
-
Hello, long time lurker, first time poster! I'd figure I'd add in some of my own speculation while we wait for more rumors. I think this year we'll get 9 regular houses with one fully interactive upcharge house. I know there's been a rumor that every house would have some kind of interactive bluetooth feature, but a fully interactive house wouldn't be feasible for every guest. My guesses:
The Walking Dead
American Horror Story
One of Universal's 2015 releases (Insidious or Crimson Peak)
A house devoted to Jack
Scary Tales 4
Nightingales 2
Dark Christmas with a potential Krampus tie in
Two new originals
TWD hasn't had enough so far this season that would translate to a house, but I don't think marketing would want to let go of this IP. Based on Dr Jimmy's clues from a few weeks ago, he's hinting towards sequels, and my best guesses are Scary Tales and Nightingales. It's been a bit since there was a Scary Tales and Nightingales would be the perfect sequel house. I don't think we'll have a classic IP this year unless it's Hitchcock. Does anyone have details on what the Ritual house would have been last year?

If this year is two parks, I'm guessing each park will have 3 SS entrances with Carnage and Poseidon or Popeye in IOA and Disaster and Parade in USF.
