I finally had a chance to go see The Purge this past weekend. Seeing the movie doubled my anticipation for this SZ. There's so many different things that they could do with this. I think this will definitely be a loud, intense and overall fun SZ.

I can't help but think that both coasts are going to go ahead and get the Dracula: Untold announcement out of the way next. Maybe save the more exciting reveals for later. (AvP, Halloween) Although I would love to see an original revealed, but I'm not betting on it.

Predators were the first thing I thought of as well when I read that. They were very large in the AvP movies. The males able to portray ages 50 - 65? That one has me scratching my head too. Very interesting.

Yea, I still can't take most of his scenes seriously. Not because of his acting, he's just...Fez.

That's the same problem that I had to begin with. But it only lasted a couple of episodes. Although, I found myself missing Tarentino most of the time...and Salma Hayack.

Their alien house, or "The Lab" looks interesting too.

I'm almost caught up with the season. Only a couple of more to go. I must say, I had no idea this show was as graphic and gory as it is. A lot of it is bloodier than the movie. If they try to match the content in this years maze, its going to be up there with Evil Dead, maybe even more. Eager to see how they approach this one.

I agree 100% This show has so many elements that could be used in a house. Imagine walking down the aisle of the airplane, dark with lights flickering. Seats full of bodies, not knowing which one was about to lunge at you. The morgue scene as well. Lots of potential in that show for sure.

If we don't get some sort of theme and/or icon next year for the 25th anniversary, I'll be very surprised. Especially if TWD doesn't make a 4th appearance. It seems like they started the "Hollywood" model when TWD showed up. Who needs an icon when they can plaster zombies all over their website, billboards and t-shirts. Hopefully we will see next year if this has all been the fault of TWD. Fingers crossed. But I really do think this will be a good year, icon or not. At least we have our SZs back. That's a step in the right direction.

I think it means that they can't think of anything to tie all of these IPs together with. Although HomemadeHaunt may be right. Higher ups may not want one.

I guess I never stayed in Atlanta long enough to see that.

The music was one of the main components that made 7 memorable IMO. Wasn't 7 also on Hollywood Blvd? It's been a while and my memory isn't what it once was.

I'm at work right now. Got it set to record though. Still curious to see exactly how they plan to execute this SZ.

The last I heard, it was going to be in Plaza of the Stars. I think the London Waterfront is off limits for anything HHN related.

Chainsaws AND motorcycles in one zone? Count me in. I'm hoping to catch the movie this weekend. Lots of the things you guys are mentioning (machine gun trucks and auctions) are foreign to me. It definitely sounds like a promising zone. I'm just curious if there will be enough room for the motorcycles on peak nights.

I agree the movie was not very good. But how can you say no to seeing Aliens and Predators up close and personal? Sucky movie or not?

You never know, they could surprise us. If not tonight, possibly soon. I'm definitely ready to hear more details about this maze. It intrigues me.

I agree Legacy. This almost seems like it has to be The Purge since the movie is already out. But Halloween has already been leaked, so there's that. With no word from Hollywood as of yet, I guess we can rule out DU and AvP.

I agree with you about her effort JDW. Especially the embedded QR codes and the audio on one of the latter Who Am I clues. There were so many, I can't remember a lot of the details. But some were quite clever, while some were a little strange. I forgot about that 1st one that had 4 parts...lol. That one was confusing to begin with.

I agree...it was quite entertaining. It kept us twice as busy trying to figure out her clues as well as Dr. Jimmy's. I thought any type of dust witch icon or backstory would be to good to be true.

Remember all of those Dust Witch and Dark Carnival clues Cassilda was dropping a while back? Any ideas how those are going to fit in this year? Or are they going to fit in at all? Seems "she" is the only one that has hinted toward anything of that nature. Maybe you guys have come to a conclusion on the topic and I missed it.

A teepee type structure definitely sounds like something we may see in Crows. This house seems like the most interesting original idea this year...IMO

I really had no idea the Myers house was going to be so large. It looked nowhere near that size in earlier photos. I'm very impressed. I have no idea what to make of the Charlie facade. Its going to be interesting to watch its progress. Thanks for the pics!

That's exactly what my wife does on most "reality" shows. Sucks to hear that its scripted. I was going to try to catch the upcoming season. I guess I still will so I'll be somewhat familiar with the SZ.
