  1. And from the Universal blog: "If you thought that Dracula had been banished for good, think again. I’m excited to bring you the fourth house reveal for Halloween Horror Nights 24—an all-new house that is inspired by Universal Pictures’ upcoming epic action-adventure, Dracula Untold. The film comes out October 17, but you can experience a living preview of it at Halloween Horror Nights, starting September 19. This house takes you through the terrifying origin of the man who became Dracula. Each room contains gothic scenes that highlight Vlad the Impaler’s transition into the bloodthirsty creature. As you enter the house, you’ll see firsthand the frightening cave that Dracula first emerged from on his path to damnation. The house becomes especially eerie as you progress through a destroyed village and into the woods on the way to Dracula’s foreboding castle. In the final scene, you’ll come face-to-face with Dracula’s victims: those who were impaled and who begged to be saved before he took their last breath. Each turn in this new house presents a horrifying experience straight out of the movie, including the war between Dracula and the attacking Turks. Dracula is here, and his thirst for blood is never-ending. No prisoners will be spared this year at Halloween Horror Nights 24. Will you be able to make it out alive? Grab your tickets and find out."
  2. From Inside The Magic (posted by Ridesandstuff in the Hollywood section): “‘Everyone thinks they know the story of ‘Dracula’,” said John Murdy, Creative Director at Universal Studios Hollywood and Executive Producer of “Halloween Horror Nights.” “But there is much more to the tale than just a dark figure lurking in the shadows, drinking blood. While Dracula Untold will reveal the origin story of the man who became Dracula, our ‘Halloween Horror Nights’ maze will invite guests to experience the atrocities Dracula imposed on his victims in the most frightening and immersive way possible.” “As a huge fan of the Universal Classic Monsters, my interest is certainly piqued any time a film explores other facets of the classic characters,” said Michael Aiello, Director of Entertainment – Creative Development, Universal Orlando Resort. “Dracula Untold offers a unique perspective on the origin of the world’s most famous vampire. Our maze will place guests within many of the pulse-pounding moments from the upcoming film, offering guests an unprecedented living preview of the horrors that await.”
  3. From Shock Till You Drop: "Dracula Untold, Universal’s big October release, is getting a tie-in at Halloween Horror Nights Orlando and Hollywood. Attendees should look for the “Dracula Untold: Reign of Blood” maze at both locations this fall. Beginning, Friday, September 19, 2014, guests can feast on this immersive preview of Universal Pictures’ upcoming epic action-adventure Dracula Untold. Starring Luke Evans, the origin story of the man who became Dracula arrives in theaters on October 17th. “Dracula Untold: Reign of Blood” will introduce guests to the sadistic Transylvanian ruler Vlad Tepes, known as “Vlad the Impaler,” who infamously tortured his enemies by impaling them alive with a wooden stake and suspending their bodies. The foreboding maze will also shed an ominous light on the one-time hero, turned blood-thirsty-tyrant, who chose to embrace unholy powers in order to defeat his enemies. “Dracula Untold: Reign of Blood” will spiral guests through Dracula’s eternal damnation, where the thirst for blood is never-ending."
  4. No icon, and no theme this year, either. "what is the theme this year? If there is one.. last year's theme wasn't really clear" "this is one of those Pandora's Box type years where HHN itself is the theme and the content stands alone." Sigh...well then who opened Pandora's Box and let all of this evil out, Mike? Even a simple icon & theme like that would be better than nothing. Oh well, here's hoping they do it up big for the 25th anniversary.
  5. For those of you curious about Dracula: Untold and what might be in the house, Here's Part 1 of Shock Til You Drop's set visit. Yes, it could be anything. Why don't you just list every possible thing it COULD be? You've gone from "it has to be Halloween" to "has to be Face Off" to Jack is back. Way to commit to one idea, Timbo.
  6. Yeah, and one of their "insiders" says it's still happening, so looks like BriMan might have some bad info.
  7. So BriMan, owner of the Orlando United site, says no Dracula Untold. "I don't think you'll be seeing Dracula: Untold " Wishful thinking on his part or has he heard new info? If it isn't coming, what would take its place?
  8. That's what was going to be announced last week. The video was uploaded to their account on the 10th, the snap chat photo was from the poster, etc.
  9. Yeah, someone screwed up by not making it private to begin with.
  10. Yep. And I guess this means we've lost Ritual. So 5 IPs and 3 originals now. Not happy about that, but if FDTD is really good, I can live with it.
  11. So I guess this confirms From Dusk Till Dawn is coming to Orlando and Hollywood. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UarqR2SaNqs#t=41 Credit to Morgs at Orlando Informer for finding that.
  12. First trailer for Dracula Untold was released this morning. Universal keeps removing the YouTube versions, but you can still see it at many movie sites. Here it is at Indie Wire & Bloody Disgusting. Says it's an "international" trailer, so probably a leak.
  13. Really? Thanks for stating the obvious. No one is telling you to believe it. Believe what you want. People have "inside sources". Stuff gets leaked early all the time. Some is right, some is wrong. They feel confident enough in their sources to print it now. We'll know how accurate they were very soon.
  14. Me, too. If the originals don't change, they sound like a lot of fun. Love Halloween! Dracula could be very good, but we'll see on that. Walking Dead should be interesting at the very least. AvP is the only one I'm not too excited about. Would much rather Alien or Aliens. But I'm willing to give it a chance. And we still have scare zones to be announced. I like the way this is shaping up. Just hoping these "crazy whispers" are not going to be something changing for the worse. Oh, and there's a photo going around of a clown prop spotted in the maze being built in Disaster.
  15. You're just not getting it. They are saying they can independently verify those parts of the list, from their own sources. They can't verify the rest. And their source also gives them a scare zone. And as to that bottom part you are stuck on, they say unless explicitly stated otherwise. And what do they say about their info? "Absolutely verify".
  16. There is much about this list, actually, that we can’t comment on, as we just don’t know – particularly when it comes to the original haunts as opposed to the intellectual property-based ones. However, there are a few nuggets that we can absolutely verify, thanks to the inhibitions of our snazzily-dressed sources quickly being lifted: The ratio of four original to four IP houses is correct. We can confirm that The Walking Dead, Alien vs. Predator, Halloween, and Dracula are all coming this year. Finally, of the above mazes, all but Halloween will be in soundstages.
  17. See my post above. Edit: Sorry, this was meant as a reply to Jack.
  18. And Orlando Informer has confirmed the 4 IP houses. And also reveal one of the Scare Zones. No surprise, but will hide it for those who don't want it spoiled.
  19. Synergy is Dracula Untold. Unless that has been changed. The synergy of the studio and the parks working together to promote Universal's new film. Though I certainly would prefer your idea. Maybe next year?
  20. Now that we (apparently) know what Crow and Altar are, this makes perfect sense. Good call! And it ties in perfectly with Cassilda's Clue #14. And Dr. Jimmy's cat photos of the Native American cat and the Mayan Bat God. Really cool to see all of these pieces coming together.
  21. Aha! Now all of that talk of having to choose between Mexico and Massachusetts makes sense! Had to choose between Altar and Crows. So there's that clue solved.
  22. About Ritual, read this on another site tonight, and just in case it's true, and you don't want to know yet, I'll hide it.
  23. Yes! Thanks! I think you've got it. And that's what Ritual is said to be...Bogeyman.
