I'm pretty excited for Terror Tram this year, just based off what I've heard talking to other people cast on the tram sounds really awesome

Does it sound any different experience wise than what we've had in the past or is it still the basic "Walk past a few scenes on the trail"?

Also, separate question, how early do you have to show up if you want to be in the front row for the opening scaremony? Normally I do EA but if I'm going to get FotL this year I'd like to see it.

ANYWAY i thought there where a limeted amount of FOL TICKETS for each night

    IF that is SO

Either hhn hollywood hasnt had a rush of buyers for there tickets

Or they have an unlimited amount

As not one night has yet sold out of them

I mean the tickets haven't been on sale that long. There aren't really that many people who follow this event closely enough to buy tickets as soon as they're on sale, not enough to sell out immediately anyways.

How long does it usually take to sell out though? This year I want to do FotL on opening night, something I've never done before. I tend to go the second or third week with general admission, which I can buy the week of.

Even though we've seen the Purge a few times already, I'm actually really looking forward to this. A pulsed mega scarezone with more set pieces and places for the scare actors to hide is awesome. The election is a great topic the movie chose to cover,  and the few concept art pics released of the original characters we'll see look great. Lastly, having an overall theme throughout the park like this will be a nice change of pace.

Now, if only it were original and they could find a way to tie it to an icon...

The Krampus house doesn't have 3 windows on the second level.

It does, actually. For some reason the movie poster has one small oval window rather than a large rectangular one in the center (I think this is what you're talking about?) but if you watch the movie trailer you can see that all the windows seen here match.

Opening weekend, I think it was just TWD, Insidious, and TITE they allowed early access to as well ad Jabawockeez. Then they expanded to the backlot since early entry needed to be expanded. Plus, they have people a FoL to one house incentive to see Jabawockeez. Now that the park is more laid out it will work out far better.

I feel like they may do an early entry for Potter as well but that may be difficult to manage.

That was 2015, I meant 2014. Was it AvP and TWD or was it Clowns and AWiL?

  6. I think that's actually a pretty good venue location. It's not the biggest but I think they could make it work.

So think about this: If they used that venue, and the rumors about HoH 2.0 are true, how many mazes would we (potentially) have this year?

There's Gibson Entrance, HoH/TWD, Parisian, Mummy, Stage 28, JP, Backlot, and SS747. If Universal really wanted to, we could end up having 8 mazes.

I can't believe I didn't think about this, but I'm pretty sure Wisconson could be Sinister. It involves a movie that Murdy could record and I'm pretty sure it's been requested a lot. I'm not eager for it, but I think that's possible. I don't know of any other property that could work with what Murdy said.

Murdy has said that he doesn't want to do Sinister because of child labor laws though... most of the scares revolve around children, and that would be quite a lot of short people to hire. I suppose they could do it if they really wanted, though.

he says it was the biggest clue of all. Remember the picture he tweeted of the letters, there was a Christmas cookie with it. Just going out on a limb, Christmas cookie possibly any relation to Krampus?

    image.jpeg

Wait a second... stereoscopic pictures... Christmas cookie... Krampus 3D? I hope to God it's not but that's all I really get out of this.

  9. The answer has always been "no" from Murdy due to corporate event space.

    I have a solution though....

Use Parisian AND Universal Plaza. Set up the queue for Parisian in Silly Fun Land. Set up the Plaza's queue in Shrek and have it cross over with a line moderator (they've done things similar before).

AND WHOA. Just noticed! 6000 posts!!!!!

Where would the facade for the Parisian maze go then? Other than that slight problem I think that's a great idea.

  10. What's taking up the old Shrek venue? I'm sure there's a Harry Potter backstage area that we can utilize that doesn't interfere WITH Harry Potter. Also, Despicable Me and Silly Fun Land are SO DEAD during HHN, they REALLY need to use some of it like they did back when it was T2.

The old Shrek venue is a lot smaller now I think, plus there's a permanent shade in the way (I'm not sure if there used to be or not). I think there probably should be some backstage area in Potter though.

  11. Here's some mazes in no particular order that I would like. Maybe not all at once but one of them would be nice.

The Evil Within: Insane environments, terrifying characters. Only thing missing is the awareness, but it's not too hard to explain to GP.

BioShock: Again, absolutely breathtaking environments, creepy characters, and it's extremely well known. Only downside with this one is practicality, since being underwater is not an easy look to replicate.

Fallout: This one is a bit of a stretch as it's not necessarily horror, but a few jumpscares and it could easily be a genuinely terrifying maze. Plus, it's one of the most hyped games in the history of games, so no problem with awareness.

The Woman in Black: This one probably won't happen because of it's reliance on children, but I feel it could be very similar to Crimson Peak.

The Conjuring: I honestly don't know why this hasn't happened yet. I remember there being a reason but I forgot. Anyways, it would be fantastic.

I'm sure I'll think of more later.
