  1. There are three witches in Macbeth, the new audio seems to have 2 echoes (for a total of three voices), and Dr. Jimmy's Performance #4 was "Three Little Maids from School". Could we be dealing with THREE Dust Witches instead of just one?
  2. Clearly this final performance is Alien vs Predator vs Nightengales.
  3. Regarding the Danse Macabre (Dance of Death) background image of CC Clue #11, if memory servers me correctly Camille Saint-Saens' musical piece "Danse Macabre" was used for the soundtrack in the Streets of Blood scare zone from HHN 18 where the Body Collectors took to the streets of "London" (NY Central Park area). The concept of the Danse Macabre came about due in large part to the Black Death, when people were confronted with the inevitability of their own lives. They made light of it with the allegory of dancing with Death towards the grave. So there's a fair chance this clue is related to Esqueleto Muerte, but perhaps it could instead be related to the Body Collectors or the Catacombs.
  4. Charles Darwin? Chuck Jones? Chucky Cheese? Charlemagne? A house based on Charles Dickens' Great Expectations? Yeah, I'm going to go with that one. I'm pretty sure if you stretched far enough you could tie it to Dr. Jimmy's Masquerade clue.
  5. Another interesting thing to note about the use of a Nine Inch Nails song in the clue, Universal has used the song "Ghosts 1-8" by NIN in the Saws 'n' Steam house as well as the scarezone. Perhaps Chance is the Icon this year and the backstory is her trying to frankenstein Jack together and bring him back from the dead?
  6. Face Off makes a lot of sense for this particular series of clues as it had a presence at HHN Hollywood last year, so there's no real reason why they wouldn't do something similar for Orlando this year. Besides, as I understand it each clue (counting the multiple part clues as one clue) relates to a different street, show, or house and there already is a clue from CC that many have linked to Alien: Clue #2 (It is said luck favors the bold / but will your courage falter? / where pain flows like a river / will you succumb to its water). Without a major Alien/Predator movie coming out this year (and the additional marketing dollars it'd bring in to HHN), it doesn't make sense for Universal to use more than one street/show/house for that IP.
  7. If that were true that Masquerade was a clue to Bioshock, then we would need one of Dr. Jimmy's other performances to tie into CC's Halloween and Michael Myers hints (which pretty much everyone seems to agree on as being the answer to the clue ). Perhaps his performance of Kiddy-Widdy-Winkies from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is meant to tie into Halloween as it's about "The Child Catcher" who could be interpreted as being Michael Myers (although he doesn't quite focus primarily on children/teenagers like Jason does). Also it was originally written in 5/4 time signature just like the Halloween Theme. Perhaps Halloween was the last minute IP they were waiting to acquire? Wait! I just had a different thought, what if Kiddy Widdy Winkies was the Dr. J clue tied into Bioshock? The splicers of the city of Rapture are all searching for little sisters. They could definitely be described as Child Catchers. Then Masquerade would still fit Halloween pretty well.
  8. Has anyone considered that the placement of the Go pieces might be a hint itself? I don't know too much about the gameplay of Go, but that particular layout looks odd to me, hinting that the placement might be deliberate. Also, there are the 0 and 9 at the corners and the + and - at the top, neither of which really seem to be related to Go. I tried seeing if the stones spelt out anything in Braille, but they do not appear to. Edit, Also odd: the positive sign is to the left of the negative sign. That's a very strange arrangement from a graphing perspective.
  9. I was just looking over Dr. Jimmy's and CCs clues to see if there was any overlap, and just had a thought about Dr. Jimmy's Cryptic Performance of "You're Never Fully Dressed without a Smile". Could this be an ironic clue for the Rocky Horror Picture Show seeing as how the majority of characters are running around in their underwear (think of the phrase "wearing nothing but a smile")? Also, when introducing the video, he says, "so without further <CLEARS HIS THROAT>", possibly alluding to Tim Curry's quote from RHPS about antici......pation. Another observation, perhaps his "Masquerade" clue was about Face/Off.
  10. Something no one has mentioned about Clue 6 Part 1, the constellation in the background is Gemini, twin brothers Castor and Pollux. They could be viewed as diametrically opposed as one of them was Immortal while the other was mortal. When the mortal (Castor) died, Pollux was so distraught that he went to his father Zeus to be reunited with his brother. Zeus was so moved that he granted him his wish, and now they spend all of eternity together, half of that in the underworld and the other half in the heavens as the constellation Gemini (once again a diametrically opposed theme). Additional trivia that might relate, they are regarded as the patrons of sailors and appeared to them as St. Elmo's fire. Also they were patrons of athletes and were known as boxers and horsemen. They were Spartans, and they are the brothers of the twin sisters Clytemnestra and Helen of Troy.
  11. Science nerd technicality warning: The two moons don't orbit Mars in opposite directions, but Phobos orbits faster than Mars itself rotates, making it look like Phobos is orbiting in the opposite direction of Deimos if one were on the surface of Mars. Phobos rises in the west and sets in the east, while Deimos rises in east and sets in the west. So technicalities aside, the reversed rising and setting directions could very well be the answer to the "diametrically opposed" hint.
  12. The original nursery rhyme doesn't mention anything about "six seven seven seven", so it's probably an important part of the clue. I have yet to make any meaning of it though. Google turns up that 6/7/77 was some notable Grateful Dead performance, and 777 is both a lucky number to gamblers and symbolic to several religions (I'm not sure what the 6 would tie in there, though.) Well it looks like you guys figured out 6777 while I was stumbling around google trying to find anything. Kudos.
  13. Cassilda Carcosa is an anagram of "Cardiac Colas ass". Cardiac = Bloody First African American Model for Coca-Cola = Mary Alexander Ass = Back Bloody Mary's Back! Kidding aside, I did a quick google/Wikipedia search on the name Cassilda Carcosa and found some interesting things involving the horror genre that could be possible clues. Cassilda is a character and Carcosa is a location in a book of supernatural/horror short stories called The King in Yellow by Robert W. Chambers (The King in Yellow gets referenced by everyone from H.P Lovecraft to Steven King, so it might ring a bell). Give the Wikipedia page a scan, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_King_in_Yellow. Also an interesting excerpt from it involving masks: Camilla: You, sir, should unmask. Stranger: Indeed? Cassilda: Indeed it's time. We have all laid aside disguise but you. Stranger: I wear no mask. Camilla: (Terrified, aside to Cassilda.) No mask? No mask!
  14. Other possible paths for this clue: The music video for Schism was directed by Tool's guitarist Adam Jones, who is also known for being a SFX makeup artist in a number of big name IPs including Jurassic Park, Batman Returns, Terminator 2, Edward Scissor Hands, Predator 2, Ghost Busters 2, Pet Sematary, and Nightmare On Elm Street 4. It's been forever since I've taken High School chemistry, but I think there are also some molecules of Cadaverine (H2N(C2)5NH2) in the background ,which is also related to decomposition/putrefaction (if you couldn't figure that out from the name alone).
  15. How would the "Seek ye the sister / Who gave birth to a master" clue fit into the Michael Myers theory?
  16. To take this idea a little bit further, according to the Legend of Sleepy Hollow, the Headless Horseman was a soldier that lost his head during the American Revolution. "If you want to get a-head, look back and go slower" seems to be refering to Ichabod Crane slowing and looking over his shoulder after passing the bridge (where the Headless Horseman was supposedly unable to pass, "Whoa Nelly!") only to be hit by the hurled head/jack-o-lantern of the Headless Horseman. Nightengales in the Revolutionary Road seemed probable to me at first, but I'm leaning more towards Sleepy Hollow now. Good call, peculia.
  17. @HorrorNights: Already released one hint today for Maze #4, codenamed "Atari 2600" you're looking for a title that was released on this game platform... @HorrorNights: Hint #2, you're looking for a signature sound effect associated with this titleNot even sure if it was in the Atari game version... I haven't seen this game mentioned so I'll just throw this out there: could these clues be referring to Pac-Man? It does contain ghosts, and out of all the identifiable sound effects from that era of gaming, Pac-Man's "waka waka" is among the most iconic (and did not appear in the Atari game version). I'm not sure what the "waka waka" sound would have to do with a maze though.
  18. I felt like I was having trouble navigating down to the basement at first but then I realized I just had to click and drag a blank area of the screen to get there. The "arrows" on the left do nothing. Unrelated: What exactly is involved with the in-park investigations? I only get one night at HHN each year so I'm curious if it's worth my while or if it will take too much time away from experiencing all the houses and rides.
  19. I think it's a mix of animosity towards an increasingly more IP styled event, and the fact that the Waking Dead is so popular that complaining about how much you hate it is currently the "cool" contrarian/rebellious thing to do. I think we should all be happy that dramatic horror shows such as TWD and American Horror Story are such big hits because that only means that more shows in the horror genre are going to get made. I also look forward to a cohesive theme that gets carried across the whole park. The zombie hordes that took over Busch Gardens a few years back were a lot of fun and they were really creative with giving each horde its own identity (classic zombie, radioactive zombie, zombie clowns, etc). While those types would be too campy and wouldn't work with the Walking Dead, I'm sure they have plenty of creative ideas to give each area its own personality.
  20. I did a little bit of research to see if I could figure out who the co-collaborator might be, and the English master architect of the time was regarded to be Christopher Wren. He's known for designing St. Paul's Cathedral as well as rebuilding 52 churches destroyed in the Great Fire of London of 1666. I couldn't find any references to him and Mansart being bitter rivals, but they are indeed contemporaries. interestingly enough, Wren appears to have been associated with some of the founding members of the Freemasons. I could be barking up the wrong tree with all of this and there might be another English master architect of the time, but Legendary Truth seems to love a good conspiracy theory.
  21. I keep seeing a parade being mentioned in various threads and forums. Is a HHN styled parade rumored to be returning this year or are you guys referring to an unrelated parade that runs through the park during the day?
