I just found this page and it seems that we arent the only ones who track their event music! http://hauntmusic.blogspot.com/

This is just something I threw together this morning. never done one before.

JDW myself and many others greatly enjoy your tracks and I think it's awesome that people are creative and do their own thing. I would ever want to in any way stifle that creativity. My only issue is when some people claim that stuff was used in the house/streets when it wasn't.

I am not here to rain on anybody's parade or to spoil anyones fun but there are those who post things on youtube and the web claiming that they are either songs or audio from Halloween Horror Nights houses and/or scarezones that are just simply false. I know this because myself and the other users here who work on this song list project pretty much year round go thru and very painstakingly at times listen to multiple recordings from inside each house and each scarezone. Sometimes recorded on cell phones and sometimes actual source audio . I am not going to be so bold as to say that we never miss anything but I think a lot of what people put out there is wishful thinking and not reality. Which is fine as long as you identify it as such. I do a soundtracks to the event every year just like many of you do and if there isn't any audio I find something that fits as well. But I don't put it on the list here nor do I claim it is actual event music. Sorry I just had to get that off of my chest.

I tagged another track from The Ring soundtrack from somewhere in the park called The Ferry. Also just as you enter the AC house the song Last Man On Earth from Welcome 2 My nightmare is playing and just before you exit the AC house Nothings Free from The Last Temptation is playing. It only took me about 8 different videos to get the tag on the first song in the house but i finally did.

Not so far Cody. The sound effects are nice and clear but the bg music isn't so much. I have gone thru several recordings and videos of Gothic and think on one i may have possibly heard Gothic Sanctum by Nox Arcana from Transylvania playing when you first go in. I have not been able to tag anything using Shazam or Soundhound or Tunatic tho so I am only going on my own ears. I need to hear more, Neither myself nor Luke nor Cody have actually been to the event yet so we haven't seen or heard the Bill and Ted Show yet. So we need those who have seen it and heard it to let us know! And thanks Doc!

The first street track is Air by Hans Zimmer from The Thin red line The Second street track I had no luck at all with The Third street track is Salems Lot Aria which may or may not be a part of the lagoon show Tracks 4-8 are not there. Gonna work on the others now. The one outside of Penn and Teller is 40 Miles to Vegas by Southern Culture on the Skids. Outside of Alice Cooper house is Ill Bite Your Face Off. And outside of Walking Dead link doesn't work either. It tries to send me to another websites ftp but requires a password.

The first one in Dead End is actually called The Planets Op 32:V Saturn The bringer Of Old Age by the Saint Lois Symphony Orchestra. It only features sections of it tho. The second one is Remnants by Nox Arcana from Darklore Manor. Also in the begining of Silent Hill is Samael from the Silent Hill movie soundtrack. The in a bizzare twist the second one in Silent Hill is called In The End Of Human Existence by Abominable Putridity.

Trust me sometimes especially after you are sitting up half the night trying to identify maybe a fragment of a song from a bad recording a lot of the Midnight Syndicate as well as Nox Arcana music does start to sound alike. I know this from experience! Oh and you can move all this to the music speculation section if you'd like -

The song that used to be in the background of the teaser page was a song called "Building the Carnival" that was originally written for Halloween Horror Nights 17 by Midnight Syndicate but has never been released. i do however have a copy of it if anyone really wants it. The thunder effects were added later and on a seperate track. D~ -
In 2004 the original and first Castle Vampyre was created for the two park event. Inside this house in the rave scene I recorded about 30 seconds of audio and have had it for years and was never able to identify it, This morning thanks to Shazam and Sound Hound I was able to tag it. Its called Like To Jam by Mateaux from the cd This is Rave 2. I am assuming it hadn't been released on CD until just a few years ago but it definitly is the song. I am so happy now.

While it may not directly pertain to this years event yet. I just got the latest update on the Halloween Horror Nights 22 App for Android and it had links to music from past events. It would seem that they are using Cody's mixes which is awesome but I wondered if anyone else knew about this and what they thought? It does seem to be a UO official app but i cannot be sure.
