  1. And we all know that AWIL needs all the hype it can get for the GP to care.
  2. This looks incredibly surreal and dark.

  4. What kind of "in character" discussion do you want with a walker?
  5. Yeah it looks amazing. Ever since it was leaked I was excited to see what Orlando would do with it, and it looks like my excitement was well founded. (BTW that wasn't an insult towards Florida, plenty of people over here were/are complaining that Universal is/was "pandering.")
  6. Looks so good that even a racist can enjoy it.
  7. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resident_Evil Also, read press releases. They'll mention certain fan favorite characters that will show up. Google those and you'll have enough working knowledge to understand the basic concepts.

    Evil Dead

In general, horror films aren't popular with the general public or reviewers. However, by horror fans, the movie was well received. The aesthetic for the original movies and Evil Dead 2013 are very, very different. Another big issue is that most of the iconic scenes from the original movies are referenced in the 2013 movie. If you saw the original movies, you would have caught those references. There's the chained down cellar, cutting off the arm, chainsaws, the original recording from the first movie, the tree assault, the shotgun, the friends coming back to life to kill the protagonist, a scene where a deadite is buried, boiling water, scenes involving a mirror, and "JOIN US." And those are just the things that can be easily transferred into a maze. The movie is already split into an "even mix" but with a single aesthetic.
  9. Here's a big hint: Anybody who says "I'm a member of A&D and I'm going to give you all the info I am contractually not allowed to tell you!" isn't part of A&D and has no info to tell you.
  10. Time to put the HORROR back into Rocky Horror.
  11. It could easily be misdirection for people who think there are only seven houses. Notice that PS hasn't given any really obvious RE hints. It's like the post-credit stinger for the event. "That's all folks, it's time to go home. Oh by the way, we're doing Resident Evil. We forgot to mention that before. Oops."
  12. What stood out to me was the claims that you are going to go into La Llorona's lair. That has a lot of potential.
  13. 2009 was a pretty long time ago. I don't think we can count on seeing that much liberty being taken with anything soon. Especially something that isn't an in house property.
  14. I think what trips people up is thinking that Slenderman is folklore or an urban legend instead of something that this one dude came up one day with and can prove he did. He's as much an urban legend or folklore as Jason Voorhees. If Jason was an internet meme that is.
  15. Would they have scareactors dressed up like sticks?
  16. Murdy said that he would have to obtain the rights to Slenderman to do a maze. It's safe to say that he understands copyright law.
  17. Four new houses all week...with another new house announced sometime that isn't this week. Such as next week. Or they will announce four new houses...and then another new house. Still making the claim of four new houses technically accurate.
  18. Looks like the elevator scene. Cool.
  19. He had an house with Six Flags based on Brutal Planet. Well, veeery loosely.
  20. If I'm not mistaken, the Penn and Teller maze was poorly received?
  21. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Science_fiction Science fiction is largely based on writing rationally about alternative possible worlds or futures.[2] It is similar to, but differs from fantasy in that, within the context of the story, its imaginary elements are largely possible within scientifically established or scientifically postulated laws of nature (though some elements in a story might still be pure imaginative speculation). The settings for science fiction are often contrary to consensus reality, but most science fiction relies on a considerable degree of suspension of disbelief, which is facilitated in the reader's mind by potential scientific explanations or solutions to various fictional elements. Science fiction elements include: --- If you don't like science fiction in horror that's a matter of taste, but you should know the definition of the genre. Yes, it's not believable. If that's a problem for you, that's because the genre simply isn't for you.
