Maybe not next year, maybe never, but I think that it would be a new way to do NOES.
-
What if NOES comes back next year...as AVP style semi original 3D maze?
There's already a disorienting effect when red and green and contrasted (which is why Wes gave him that sweater) and there's no reason Freddy Kruger would not make a 3D Nightmare...that he will welcome you to. And if makeup uses a lot of strong blacks and reds that will also produce a 3D effect. Kruger 3D: Legacy of Nightmares. -
I would like to note that Clowns' facade is pretty impressive considering the history of weaker facades in the spot. It set up the story and the mood pretty well.
But yeah, spaceship wins. -
Guest ratings will tank it, if it is going to be tanked. I don't know what the guest ratings for the TWD maze or TT are like, but ticket sales are at an all time high and the lines for TWD are insane.

Related: The Gecko Brothers get dudebros trying to start fights with them. Or rather the Gecko Brothers will start fights and dudebros will not know they are a character.

I think within canon (again I have only seen the first movie, so I may be missing out) Norman separated Norma from himself, so he wouldn't say things his mother would say.
Then again the psychology in that movie is pretty haywire to begin with so it is hard to say what he *would* do.
Next year HHN should have Norman Bates do a puppet show on NY street with his mother. Mother's In Your Face Insults. -
One KSF cast member tried to make a joke about gingers not having a soul because he didn't tried to scare me by stomping and didn't. Come on dude. Don't blame me for not being scared. I'm not an impossible scare either.
Anyway, I've only seen the first Psycho, so I don't know if Norman would say slut or whore. I am sure he would think things like that, but be outwardly polite and just kinda creepy.- 1

Reading the yelp reviews puts me in the shoes of somebody who shows up at 8:30.
Gaah.- 1

Haha. I only facehugged on Sat, two days before that I was working the end puppet in AVP.
-
Will do! Did you see a redheaded guy with a facehugger on Saturday?
-
Kind of irrelevant, but I didn't know where else to put this. Kursed, I think I saw you walking into Scare Base on Friday. Ferox, I'm pretty sure I saw you leaving SB at the end of the night on Saturday. Wasn't sure, so I didn't say anything either time.
Say hey next time!

War Pigs was my favorite. The scares got me pretty consistently.

That actually means A LOT to hear. I kind of hate my spot in the room, so it's cool to know people like it. Thanks!
What spot are you?

I objected very vocally, reasoning that it would mess with my plan, but my dad just said "Go with the flow, it doesn't matter."
We arrived at the park at 7:30.
That really goes to show how important the first 30 minutes are. That and not traveling with people that are going to mess up your plans.
Seriously, that sounds awful.

Oh wait these are the same people who try to move in on Murdy fan's on twitter and this knott's.
Maybe one day they will put as much effort into building mazes and training scareactors. Maybe.

That last Twister scene in FDTD is one of the best rooms I've been in so far. The energy especially from Satanico is intense.

I mean, if you don't know the context it does seem pretty out of left field.

How is AWIL rated number 1 if its getting the shortest line?
On a more serious note, since AWIL is low awareness there are not really the same expectations as a big name property like AVP or TWD. So if people are going into AWIL saying "I think I've heard of that, well I like werewolves and the line is short so cool" and then end up seeing giant terrifying werewolf puppets and a brilliantly executed nazi nightmare sequence they are going to come out very happy. Otherwise if they go to AVP and expect a jaw dropping maze and get a jaw dropping maze, they only got what they were expecting.
AVP and AWIL currently being the most loved mazes this year is a great thing. The two mazes duking it out are a combo of two classic franchises (with recent-ish installments) and a cult classic from 1981.

And now she has to walk, since that jerk stole her bike.

They do have handicapped shuttles available to the backlot.

Sole? No. Of course not. Deciding factor? Probably.

Last year I saw people use their FOTL at 7:15 or something like that. It was for Evil Dead which I think we waited maybe 10 minutes for, including the walk down to the maze.
It's a waste and Grindhouse is right. Use it to skip the 140 minute AVP line instead of the 10 minute AVP line.
The next Creature/ monster maze

Well it does have better awareness than AWIL, so it may not be impossible. Although as a huge fan of the Cronenberg version, it doesn't seem that exciting.
I mentioned this on another thread, but I could see the next creature maze being Nightmare on Elm Street in 3D. Make it semi original (think AVP on both coasts) where you are inside his nightmare and use giant puppets to fit into whatever twisted gag Freddy is doing.
