With all this talk about lanterns and illuminating... I will bet you dollars to donuts the pumpkins will be back.

Neat idea... but it would be to risky... people are sue happy. Sometimes I wish they could do more. Water filled houses, tight spaces, etc.. but the American culture is to find a hazard (really just common sense) and exploit it.

So I really wanted to audition this year... But it just isn't going to line up. My job is forcing everyone to change their schedules and while I will probably have a 6-3 time slot. I could leave as late as 8:00. I wont know this till 7-26. On top of that my job doesn't like to work with time off just to go audition. I was going to probably have to call in sick. Finally, if I even so much as told them that I was going for another job (even though it is a seasonal thing that would not affect them) I would pretty much not have a job... So all I can do is hope that my situation changes next year But break a leg for anyone who is going tomorrow.

So the facade for Sprung tent 2 is massive... A church? a house? a museum? That house has the military storage/observation deck/ pitch fork/ and bed clothes... uber perplexing. Also the crooked fence like structures combined with the van/garage... still not placing it.

My video of Harvest I don't remember huts. there were the tall tree/scarecrow/Jeepers Creepers guys... There were the little goblin gus running around with what sounded like a duck call... The hooded skull looking guys... And then the dapper dressed pumpkin guys. Again, there is really info out there... I don't know who the good Doc is talking about... But so far I have heard pretty much the same from all my sources. No straight movie houses and mythology will be involved.

My thoughts exactly With the cyclops added it is just making it more and more obvious that there will be Greek Mythology. Like I said before (about the willow huts) I think they would be awesome in a Norse type lore sz... Also I noticed some spec on bedclothes... This could be literally a bedclothes scareactor... But I'm leaning towards a generic character in bedclothes... same with "Willow Huts" sure they COULD be the hut... I guess... But it is more likely they are just a generic character the goes boo from the hut. Oh and sticking with the whole myth idea I would love to see meg mucklebones and Blix

No the file size did change.. it went up slightly...so that means I have to check why the size went up when I go home (I have the other file already) it's really tiny so it is probably nothing

It's funny every year people see things in the teaser.. never is anything... BUT the Lantern does form two "X"s in the grating (XX=20)... so I guess this time there is SOMETHING... I don't think the lantern is without significance though. Just like BM's mirror, Jack's road map, or the outside of the theater... it is significant to the year. Aside from a few, I don't really see the wild speculations (yet).

I honestly don't think these are being fed to us... they are too specific... except... con artist... It's odd... because it seems like a code while most of the others seem straight forward... Perhaps this is an integral character? I keep thinking Trickster... keep with the whole midevial/mythological theme.... so Imp, Pan, Loki, Native american Trickster, hermes, etc...

Yeah I remember it. Or it could be a private school. It wouldn't be a regular High School (like Hell's High) i wouldn't think due to the bed clothes. Also, Willow hut I could see this in a mother nature gone bad... earth witch... norse folklore type are.

So new update... UPDATE: Valedictorian- Jaws This shifts me to think of like a hell's college.. or perhaps a school massacre. I.e. Slaugther college: Hell week. Or something along that line.

•UPDATE: Bed Clothes - Jaws I'm assuming someone wearing pajamas. Burnt wood and PJ's. There is no doubt that Hollywood is going to be a horror throught the years (much like 16): •Queen Of Hearts, Chainsaw #1,Dead Cheerleader, Mary Shaw, Stilts, Chainsaw #3, Pumpkinhead, Chucky - Hollywood. So so far, IMO we have a Museum of horror, a greek mythology house, a possible greek mythology sz, and "horror through the years" sz... possibly sprung 2 being a "horror of the past" house as well not really placing the "burnt wood house": Fire, bed clothes, elevated celings....

I was contemplating "Willow hut" and I know what they are... a hut made of, typically, living willow trees... But I can't for the life of me find real info on the history behind them. They've been used by many cultures and they look like a witch house or maybe the home of some Norse folklore.

I'll admit lips are sealed this year more so than ever before. Many of my regular, trusted, sources have stopped saying anything. I not really thrilled about this move... But I understand it. In the past there was infinitely more info floating around about the event for the year... but that doesn't mean there isn't SOME info that can be trusted. Let me put it this way. Enough people that I trust as reliable have confirmned "no movie houses" that I am about 80% sure that is the case. I don't typically post things I not relatively sure about, unless I'm just completely speculating. But you're right, nothing is ever concrete until it happens... So take it with a grain of salt.
