The Crypt Keeper was a maketing ploy. I never saw him in the park. But he will be back as theat ship sailed years ago. But he looked exactly like he did in the show/movies... You basic icons are simply Jack, The Caretaker, The Director, The Story Teller, The Terra Queen, Bloody Mary (assuming not back), and the Usher.

I didn't think it was intentional. .. however somtimes in the unintentional you find what is intended . No offense to anyone here, but I think it's a bit early to pigeon-hole a "reunion year". (implying a simple rehash of houses like sweet 16)... We have known since last year that all these characters would be back. So seeing the characters in the history section of the site doesn't really sway me. But I agree either way, EVEN if all the sources and hints are wrong about new content, then we will still have the characters in a new light... I think most everyone will be pleasantly surprised this year. I few more notes to ponder on the update. Why is the incubus posted twice yet darkness is not at all? Repetition usually means importance. An Incubus is also a myth... Albeit Medieval but still Mythology... and they are a real myth unlike Darkness who is simply a movie character. Also the Ice queen is pictured... and we already know someone was cast AS an Ice Queen in New york. I still don't understand why BM's likeness cannot be there. After all... she only owns the name.. not the Universal likeness but, her complete absence from the sight seems to be clear. Perhaps we will still have scareators that are BM... But she wont be named. Regardless, another piece of the puzzle should fall into place very soon...

OK I have decompiled all the images. The videos are all old so there is no reason to repost them as I posted them in years past. First off I made a new and improved background. Second, There are a TON of flames (nearly 60) most are animations. but some have some dependencies I would like to share. More on that in the moment. Here are the blatant images... I manipulated them even more to make them look more like the original. They are Jack, Director, Story Teller, Usher and... ? The Caretaker?!?... I just don't see it. Anyway, Now to the odd pictures. There are 6 pictures with what I can only explain as a "void" in them. Perhaps they are just bad photoshopping. Image 1 Image 2 Image 3 Image 4 Image 5 Image 6 Like I said they are a little odd. I tried manipulating them a bit but haven't yet derived anything from them. I also haven't had a chance to look at the code... I will but we all know they are very careful since after '07. Edit: I think I figured out the "void" It looks like the handle of the lantern. Maybe the flame will shoot out the top at some point? Edit x 2: Just to give you an idea of the void here is the flame animated by itself.

I don't think so. It expect building on the history of the PAST roughly weekly up until late August where the site will completely change. If there are I will find them later... but it looks like the flames are coming out of the latern at points.

when I get home I'll decompile and post. the characters are all over the place... very neat.

I agree I would come back with something better... If I did that anymore Female=small typically... but you would be able to validate that better seeing as you know them... Like most chucky's were girls. Perhaps a small character is needed? Or it is not a large enough sample.

Per your request Although I don't see anything. Of course 5 seconds of work will fake it so its not much of a stretch...

My two cents.... Enhanced, this pic looks like it is actually painted on canvas... Agreed it could be faked... but why would you fake canvas? Seems random. It is interesting the way it is painted... nice painting even if it is a hoax. It seems this was either taking hurriedly and the flash bleached it out or... it way faked that way... but again why would you do that? Either way there is no way to confirm or deny this as we have NO information on the Parade building except a few scareactor names.

With the body bag scareactor in the Jaws queue... in makes me think crime scene/ serial killer/ school// supernatural. So some kind of serial killer called the Nightmare man has slaughtered many people in the school and it is now a crime scene.

I have heard from a reliable soruce that Gorgons have been spotted in Ohio from time to time... Seriously though... The Thing will not be back this year. Whether or not Ohio is incorporated would be negligible... The GP has no concept of this... it would be left to the LT. But I don't see how a siren, cyclops, army of Hades, or Medusa have anything to do with Ohio...

I don't think it has anything to do with this year honestly. Everything in there is a recap of past years. not too much alluding to this years event.

I remember that video... it debut as the teaser for 2008. I don't know what house it was for (probably Creatures?) but there was wild speculation then about the house. I don't know how long in advance they do the house sketchups, but I'm assuming it was for 2008 because another part of the video showed a section of scary tales.

nightmare man = Morpheus perhaps... I thought NOES too... but I don't believe that is the case. Really it could be anything.
