From what I gather from the original (and mind you I was only getting tidbits before it was demoed) was that this was to somehow tie to the urban legends houses. It had chupacabra somehow tied to it but it definitely took place in some sort of South American temple. It had traps and sacrificial pits, etc. I had seen just a peak of the wall treatments and there was the classic chiseled stone wall and thick vines running along it. Other than that it was gone before I got much else before the plug was pulled

Based on the new pic (I'm assuming Cobweb) definitely feels aztec-like with the petroglyphs. Was thinking Quivera the lost city of gold.So my thoughts are we go looking for Quivira, things go amiss.. and stuff goes down. Hi-jinks ensue

I saw your post on OU... and have tapped most all my sources. I have heard absolutely zero to confirm an icon this year... in fact I was told no icon earlier on (unless one was retconned). I'll be interested in seeing f you are right. Of course I've been saying lately if you can't even sell the Usher for this years lineup... Icons are done for.

They do. One of them even quoted Legacy directly and made some pretty hasty speculation on TCM that was a.) wrong and b.) is easily fact checked by looking at Mike's posts on Twitter about TCM.

I'll confirm no rumors of a 3D house. But one original is completely unknown as of yet. The announced (SS24) seeing as we know the Exorcist and TCM. And we know TCM is in one of the sprung tents... this is the Exorcist... Which I personally thought would be ss22 however eh IDK that was a guess. 22 can be chilled. Which would be fantastic for this house. But they only did that once. so probably not. The second coming Tent 2. We know TCM is in the tent. this is TCM Claustrophobic Jewel (Tent 1). This is Cobweb. As I know I've stated previously (and pretty sure it was stated by Mike?) This house is claustrophobic. I'm mostly aligning with Mystique on this one... mostly. The Return - Without giving anything away this is a returning IP. Probably not what you are thinking. The Expected: this one is exactly where I thought it would be... and it is just what I knew we would get. I had wanted it last year but this year is fine. The returning... I don't want to give this away. The requeling. Mike has stated this is a re-imagined original from the past. My bet is on ghost town. The Unknown is just that. the unknown original. Shall Not be named... again not giving this up. But you do know it and it will makes sense.

No I personally don't think so but I'm not marketing brained either. They will see any dip as a horrible loss so they will want to replace it with something else that will cause a glut of the unwashed masses to surge in.

Well I reach the limitations of my laptop. So... brand new lenovo i7 quad core 16 gig came today... and I'm finally upgrading to the latest greatest CS.. well CC now is it not? I don't know I was on 4 up till today. another teaser will be coming next couple weeks. The final in July and then we are go for August.

Nope... bigger and more interest around. Think about it, the mega house is going to have mass appeal (read as... not only die hard fans) seeing as it is the biggest house to date. Requel is a re-imagined original. No one outside of the fans will care about it. A mega house is meant to draw the masses... uh... in mass.

It's not. Least not to my knowledge. depending on your definition of "comeback" you'll be disappointed. It has and will always happen that they bring things back. I mean we already have confirmation of a requel house. I would not expect this year to be any different. If you mean room for room like AWIL... eh depends on the house. There have been a LOT of really good old houses I vaguely remember (we are talking 2.5 decades at this point). Re-imagine the same house with today's technology? Sure I'm for it.

Yeah, come on guys it took a modicum of effort. You can't expect that from Universal. Much like those of us who have given clues in the past, they do take effort, planning, and creativity. I was actually talking to someone about this the other day. You spend several days wording and building multilevel clues, only to have them solved in 20 min. It's a labor of... love? Regardless they do take effort. Of course you would expect that Universal would put effort into things. But it's pretty much plug and chug the past few years and hey it works for them so... bully for them. Thank God for Mike giving us anything. I'm sure he has to fight just to give us the little he does. I've noticed his clues always center around an original.. an the highlight of the year. So, I'm putting my money on cobweb being their vista of the year.

Yes 19 was themed. It wasn't a concise as some of the previous years but it was decent. Less than 3? Slight possibility. More than 3? No there are things about this year people will fanboy about. There is at least one thing (I know of) nobody will. Such is the event. Not Hellgate. Most likely Ghost Town as has already been previously stated. Cobweb is very claustrophobic. Has ceilings, rock pillars, tight passages. To me it looks like some kind of ancient temple
