  1. I went to HHN on Saturday, Oct. 20. I had such a great time just because of the scare actors. I didn't really have a chance to make it to ALL of the houses but; Silent Hill: A++++++ to all of the Scare Actors, especially the Bogeyman and the Nurses. I went into the house at about 7:30-8:00-ish. I don't know what cast that is but they did absolutely wonderful. I especially loved the fact that they included Sybil, I believe, in the beginning shooting at the first monster. Like I said, A+. Dead End: I was a baby in this house... I don't do too well in enclosed spaces.. Anyway, with my face buried deep into my friend's back, I was still scared so I think that's enough to assume the scare actors were excellent! This was at the beginning of the night, so maybe 9:00-ish? I didn't really keep up with the times. Streets: The streets were my favorite part of the entire thing, honestly. Since it was my first time going to HHN, I was honestly impressed by everyone and how into character they were. Iniquitus- These guys could seriously entertain me all day. They freaked my friend out whenever they passed by and pointed at her. At one point, we were taking a picture with one of the Iniquitus on stilts with the wings, and once we were done taking the picture he slammed his staff-thing down on the ground (nearly hitting my foot btw) and made my friend scream and hide behind me. Job well done, buddy! At the end of the night, when the Iniquitus were checking out the Warriors by NY, I believe, I tried to catch up to the Warriors as they were done for the night so I could take a picture of their formation. The Iniquitus on stilts there slammed his staff down too, and wouldn't let me leave! I sassed him, of course, and managed to get my picture. These guys were seriously the best and the costumes were AH-MAZE-ING. Traditionals: I didn't really get scared by the traditionals but I saw plenty of people get scared instead. When I was in line for Silent Hill, the pumpkin heads were walking around and I saw one hide in the trees behind a concession stand. He got a bunch of scares that way and it was absolutely hilarious to see grown men scream and run away from him. When I got out of Silent Hill, the same pumpkin head was sitting beside a guest behind that same concession stand, terrorizing them. The Trick or Treaters were great! Especially the fox girl (with blond pigtails) and fox boy. Fox girl would constantly ask me for candy and at one time, I told her I didn't have any. I said I would bring some next year or something and she absolutely FREAKED. She stared at me for about a minute, before raising her mask and screaming no in my face. She skipped away after that and she didn't bother me anymore. Chicken boy freaked out a lot of people with his weirdness, let me tell you. My friend was scared sh*tless because of him and tiger boy. They were all amazing scare actors that never broke character! Vampires: I had the second best experience with these guys and gals. One of them had a crush on my friend, constantly following her around and breathing down her neck. And then we had Nosferatu, who came up to us when we were relaxing at an outdoor "restaurant" by Men in Black. He was great and joked with me while still staying in character. His voice changes were just the best and made us all laugh. Props to you, man. Warriors: These boys were literally the best part of the night for me. And it's not just because they were shirtless . It was about 1:00 in the morning and me and my friend were sitting on a bench. We were exhausted from walking so much and just decided to chill out for a while. All of a sudden, the Warriors come marching in. We get up and watch the Iniquitus look over them before sending them to scatter. As they went everywhere, we sat at our bench again. One was a birthday boy, who sorta-kinda-not really “protected” me and my friend. We were sitting on a bench when I randomly told him Happy Birthday and he just got behind the bench and leaned over us for like 5 minutes. Everyone else was like “ERMAHGERD YOU GOTTA BUFF DUDE BEHIND YOU WATCH OUT” and we were just like “It’s cool, he’s our buddy”. And in turn, this caused the another warrior to sneak up on these people and scare the crap out of them. Then when they had to leave (since the park was closing), he got all up close and personal with me. I told him Happy Birthday again with a big smile on my face and he winked at me. Another one was being some sort of animal and running around on all fours (very well, I might add). He definitely pulled off the creepy part of that off and I'm super glad he didn't sprint to us, or I would've freaked. The redhead in the front of this picture was hiding behind one of the prop graves, grabbing onto the gate and scaring the sh*t out of people. He was the sweetest thing too. I waved hello and he waved back, I waved again and he waved back. While he was hiding behind the grave, he screamed/shouted in this guy's face (and this guy was twice his size) and this guy just flailed around and screamed like a little girl. A lot of people were calling this Warrior a bunch of profanities and I think he almost got punched a few times. But he was a good sport about it and remained in character the entire time. When he had to leave(since the park was closing), I screamed out “No, don’t leave me!” and he gave me this like sympathetic look and waved goodbye. He’s my fave, I love him. I think we bonded, haha. Last, but not least was the "pole dancer" of all these guys. There were about 3 girls sitting on the sidewalk, and he grabbed onto the pole and swung himself around to scare them. He crouched down behind one who didn’t notice and growled, like super loud, into her ear. Needless to say, those ladies didn’t come back to that sidewalk. When he was walking away to go scare some others, I yelled out to him “YOU HAVE SEXY/GREAT HAIR” and he looked back and winked at me. I swooned. He came back to the pole and just crouched there. I think it was mostly because he was exhausted but, it looked creepy nonetheless. All in all, all of the scare actors did a fantastic job!
