  9. 3Pics from last Wednesday from the Butcher.. ahem 'pet shop' with the props in it to 'sell bunnies'. *cough* *cough* I'm pretty sure the bench with the boxes on it will be moved out of the way or they'll have a LOT of bumps and bruises to deal with.
  10. I just came back from universal studios today and I basically got nothing to report.. so here it is: Tents: no changes at all. The only new thing I was able to get was a pic of the water basin from last years American Gothic scarezone which blasted water. Disaster Queue: no changes at all since the last pictures that were taken and are floating around the web now. Jaws Queue: Able to get one pic from a finished wall visible thru the white double doors from a distance. nothing more. I will post tomorrow. This will probably be the time where the construction that is visible from the guest areas are done. All that will change is: - the finishing of the facade of Tent 2 (Geppetto) - the last room that is visible from the Disaster Queue before they shield it from view. - Whatever is visible from the Saw house thru the double doors. There is a report that the Saw facade is visible from the Fear Factor Stadium so check it out if you get the chance. My pass expires the 25th and I dont know if I'm gonna renew it anytime soon. nothing more will be visible for me so i dont see the reason to pay the money to check it out every so often anymore.
  11. Here the first pictures of the Jaws Queue construction. These pics are already outdated and newer pics are already floating around taken after 06/24/09. These are still the first (earliest) pics taken of the construction, just not the first posted. 17 Jaws 2009 HHN Construction Pics - Taken 06/24/09 Any and all the pictures I have taken and will take in the future are from guest accessible areas. I do not sneak backstage and will not even consider it (so please don't ask)... I have too much to loose to risk things like that.

  13. Why do I go to Halloween Horror Nights??? Hmm I just guess I'm a seriously messed up individual. Demented beyond the hope for rescue. For me its (among many other things) the adrenaline rush I can get for a whole month. The sights, the sounds, and the smells Halloween Horror Nights brings just gets me hyped up unlike anything else. Roller coasters and other rides are awesome to get your quick fix but this is completely different for some weird reason. The main thing that made everything even bigger then anything else could be was the other fans I was able to hang with. Meet new people while enjoying something that you absolutely love and wanna be part of all year round. One day I'll scare the shit out ya'll myself. muahahahaaa.
  14. Here's another one: Horror Nights 16 - Robosaurus Show --> 'Call it a Night' from the 'Land of the Dead' OST on which the whole scarezone was loosly based on. What I wanna know is the all the different tracks that they used for all the Horror Nights 18 Media videos. Please post if anybody knows.
  15. Very interesting information Charles. Just soo much stuff going into the event then we can imagine. We unfortunately can't be part of the design process but I'd be happy if I can help contruct the houses.. hell I'd do it for free. lol
  16. ------------------------ NOTE: This isn't meant to be a spam post but a shoutout to everybody for ideas. ------------------------ Right now I've taken on a project thats starting to shape up nicely so far. Its called HorrorNightsCollector.com and it set up to collect pictures and information about every single artifact and memorabilia item that is out there regarding Halloween Horror Nights here in Orlando. I've more or less shoved aside everything else like World of Warcraft to realy get this off the ground. Its an honor realy to be able to do this and you have no idea how much fun it is to finally be able to contribute something to the Horror Nights Fan base community thats not yet been done. Finding stuff that you never knew existed shows up at the most unexpected times.. just awesome!!!! Like everything thats being started up takes a bit of time, right now the site has about 50ish to 100 page views per day - 10 visitors/day average with about 25 different html pages online (1991-2008 + the index page... legal info page.. etc.) I just gotta say thanks to Keri Hracs and Sean Hill aka 'Gambit' and Tommi for helping me out with sending pictures and stuff.... thats exactly what I'm hoping this project will turn into: everybody sending pics and info of anything thats not on there yet. This way every single HHN item will be on there in no time. We got 302 pics and 68 items on there right now and counting. The big goal is having at least all the official merchandize sold (like pins, shirts shot glasses, and blinky cups with secret Legendary Truth info on the bottom <--- inside joke .) uploaded to the site when the new Horror Nights season start. A lot of other ideas are being played with including Tommy's idea that I'm calling 'FreE-Bay'... a way to bypass e-bay fees for Horror Night Item listings thru a save Clasified system for sellers/collector. Still thinking on how exactly to do this but its something to play around with. Another idea thats being worked with is a 'Featured Collections' Section where everybody can submit pictures from heir whole collection. Gambit gave me this idea by sending pics of his collection. As a serious note: Some of the Halloween Horror Night items that are around are soooo rare and so 'hot' that they cant be made public. I'm hoping to loosen this up a bit in time... Last thing I want to happen is that people get in hot water but it might be that no rules are broken by sending pictures without making a profit from reselling the uber-rare items. Its a sensitive thing realy but who knows... we'll see what happens. All I gotta say is that those items realy deserve to be up there. Final thanks goes out to 'Vegas'. It was his idea to somehow document everything that is floating around relating to Halloween Horror Nights. So thats how I came up with the site. Would be cool if we ever get over 1000 items listed to the database. Let me know your ideas you think would work, post away:
  17. I dont know if you are keeping track of music and tracks used for the websites but I've confirmed 2 tracks to add to your list used for the 2008 website. 1- The music on the old HHN 18 Page (where u heard "Bloody Mary" 3times and the mirror cracks with her scream)(which the page has been changed when the event opened)!! The music is called "Inside The Scarab" from Midnight Syndicates Dead Matter: Cemetery Gates Album!! 2. The background track for the Legendary Truth website is from the same album Dead Matter: Cemetery Gates and is called "The Revenants"! ===================== Original find is credited to 'Luke' =====================
  18. Here's another addition to the HHN 18 list: - Into the Forest Deep - from the Midnight Syndicate's 'The Rage' OST Album. This piece was used along the back bridge and the complete Ammityville area where the games are. Listen to it here: http://www.horrornightscollector.com/playerinfo.html
  19. For me it was included with another course i was taking but there was a fee. They'll probably have this tour again next year since it was a huge success. Keep an eye out on the IAAPA Expo here in Orlando during mid-november every year.
  20. Halloween Horror Nights Behind the Scenes Tour. I'm just back from today's IAAPA convention and all by all it was well worth it. Walking around the tradeshow floor shows some impressive products but today was all about the Final Horror Nights 2008 Tour. I have to say that going to Halloween Horror Nights was a huge difference this time, the event focused on the professional side of things as an industry seminar. We started by loading onto 3 tour busses who took us from the IAAPA show over at the Orange County Convention Center to Backstage Universal Studios. The building which we were lead into was apparently the same stage building used as the makeup and scaractor preparation room for the 'Creatures', 'Body Collectors', and 'Interstellar Terror' houses. TJ Mannarino did the welcome and a short introductory video was shown on the screens... the video contained a lot of footage from the 2003 'Art of the Scare' DVD together with some new pieces I've never seen before. All the blueprint books that we've seen on November 1st on the 2nd floor of Lombardos were laying there once again. All the costumes, masks, prosthetics, props and more were also on display in this room. People could eat some dinner and walk around to take pictures and speak with designers and creators. In the mean time groups of about 20/25 people were shown first Interstellar Terror in all its glory with the show lighting and sounds on. Nothing there that we didn't see before but pictures were allowed this time around inside the houses. Body Collectors was immediately afterwards and they actually had a few scaractors in there for this tour!!!! 'Spine-Girl was there with the Body Collector performing the procedure and also the allyway scene where the Body Collector pops up and kills the girl was also performed for the final time. (I actually was allowed to stop and video tape it twice before I had the whole scene.) AND that last body collector actually got me when I turned around to continue... he was right there in my face . Loved it !!!! After all the groups finished the tours while TJ was answering some Q&A in the main event room, all the members from the A&D department stepped up on the stage to start the formal Q&A. This lasted a bit but it was over way too fast. Kim Grommel, Michael Roddy, Rick Spencer, TJ Mannarino, and about 4 other A&D members were present (forgive me if I spelled names wrong.) All the Q&A would be too long to list out (and honestly a lot of people were asking questions all of us hardcore HHN fans already knew a long time.) but here are 2 things that were interesting (and one has to do with HHN 2009!!!!): 1: Bloody Mary - the rights to Bloody Mary were actually bought by Universal from Bobbie Weiner Enterprises, LLC. Bobbie Weiner has the site called www.DearBloodyMary.com and created the Horror Nights Icon's makeup design as we've seen her this past HHN. 2: Q - What will you guys do for 2009???? And they actually gave us some info!!!!!! A - YES THERE WILL BE A HALLOWEEN IN 2009!!!!! AND IT WILL BE SCARY!!!!! This is about everything that happened and this officialy wraps up HHN 2008 (not including the Legendary Truth part of it maybe... I dont know.) They are striking IT and BC as I'm typing this - Eve of Nov. 20th, 2008 and thats it . Pictures are in the album and videos are soon to follow. Take it easy... I will see you all again next year. Contact me anytime of the year about HHN, because my Halloween Horror nights (and Halloween in general) ends around July 6th and starts up for 2009 on July 7 or when the new site starts updating.
