  1. Had a great night and ended up helping security get a guy who slapped two of the nurses in Silent Hill. I didn't see the street experience pick up until 11:30 though which was disappointing. The only thing I missed was B&T.

i want to work as a scare actor once i finish school, but with the violence towards them, im starting to re-think. i will still try it one year and then go from there.

  2. From what I heard Michael it is not. She has two things going on. Ill tell you later. But shes just filling in she is supposed to be back in penny and teller soon.

Thanks for clearing that carnage, then i think you were missing later that night for some reason. i beleive it was cast B.

AC around 8:15 was missing 4-5 actors. Mother was missing, Stripper and her assistant scare actor they added, mutated black widow, and the Jock under the bleachers. It was sad to see, lucky i went in early when cast A was on roll i think.

  3. My cast is really big on watching each other's backs, and the coordinators are hawkish when it comes to protecting us. We're all friends and spend a lot of time on break joking and playing around, so we care about each other a lot.

Last night I got a light punch to the jaw from a woman for interrupting her argument (before anyone says anything, I actually backed off when she asked me to; she punched me after I looked away from her), so I grabbed a nearby security officer and cop and had her trespassed. One of our other Beasts wasn't so lucky and had a guy outright go up to him and punch him in the nose. He had to get his mask swapped out for the last set so they could clean the blood out, and he damn near killed the asshole. Guy got a trip down to 33rd Street in the back of a cop car.

Wow...just wow. I noticed that Friday when I was there that crap was going down everywhere. I saw security and universal supervisors running all around all night. One guy locked himself in the monster cafe bathroom for some reason. They got a strecher to get him out.

Makes me angry on the crap people pull. Hopefully you and all the other casts won't have much trouble tonight, I will be there.

  4. Just as a wonder I dont know I saw a cast change on Friday for P&T, I'm tall and was camped at the exit, so I could see over the green cloth. I saw some cast heading in, the clown had his mask off but I'm not sure who it was. It is very different seeing the cast just talk and hang out rather than in the houses working like I'm used to seeing them.

  5. Cogstein, where was it by Alice cooper exit. Cause a lot of incidents happened last night. I'm not even sure he saw his attacker. What I heard.when he was headed to health services was he looked at the light and couldn't see.

no we saw her being escorted out the front of the park, we were eating some free muffins we got from some employees out in front of the bakery.

  6. Props to all the house last night. But major props to HoH. I actually got lost in the final room.

I was wearing my 3-d glasses through the house, saw the exit to the final room, mummy come to my left, I looked at him and when I look back the exit is gone and Dracula is standing there where the exit was. I looked around only seeing mirrors and scare actors for a minute. Then found the exit.

  7. What was with all the little kids running around?

i went on friday, which was pretty packed. there were several little ones running around and everything. some parents had freaking babys with them!

but i did get though a lot of the houses thanks to team leader andy, who guided us through P&T, Alice and house of horrors all in a row. he also went in the houses with us.

  8. I was able to talk to them after on of the shows.

so, they had a choice of where to perform, here at UNI or at the Horror convention hosted by spooky empire. they chose Universal. they plan to perform in vegas soon. I hope they get to. they can do a good show, just needs some more tricks and tweaking. they are both really nice, didnt get to talk to the girl (forget her name at the moment).

also was able to get my picture with them, i will see if i can find it later.

  9. Well though I push a walker with a backpack on the front, I am in no way disabled. I push it for my family member who is in a scooter with me. I push it so she can walk with it through the houses.

Anyway, I will be there Friday, so if you see a husky guy pushing a walker, go ahead and approach me. I will give a peace sign to show it is me.

  10. Ill say one thing... IF they did this house in Hollywood last year already how come we didn't get that? how come we didn't get that version ? we got an inferior house

    I 100% agree with you.

I looked at the hollywood one last year and it seems they did a better house in about a same or smaller space. I know there are different creative teams, but ours could have looked at hollywoods and seen what people liked and incorperated it.

  11. So, I am new to the forum but have lurked for 2 years and have seen some people wearing nightmare shirts in the park so i decided to join.

EDIT: This Review has been Re-done. They are no longer in order of Favorites due to it being too hard to decide on.

Optoinal Backstory: I have gone several nights so far, i have to guide my disabled family memeber through the houses, so i get a nice slow look at everything. then i go back through without her. due to me guiding her walker, we get separated from the rest of the line, leaving me in the front for the scareactors.

    Note: minor spoilers

    1. Gothic - Beautiful scenery. I have gotten good scares in this house. i have no problems with this house and the scareactors get me good. Best scene for me was the flying bat-like gargoyle.

EDIT: first time i saw the flying scare actor in the outside part, that was really cool, other than that everything was good.

    2. Dead end: I loved legendary truth, so this one i knew i was gonna like. The scares are good. Best scare i got was in the

Photo room. this house was better than legendary truth and loved the special effects.

EDIT: still a great house. nothing new on thoughts

    3. Penn and Teller: I'm a sucker for 3-D houses. This one was amazing to me. It had decent scares and funny jokes/ Penn lines. i Loved the Buttons and little guest activated tricks. oh and that friking clown... has not scared me yet. clowns dont scare me i guess.

EDIT: No thoughts have change other than, Where is the Bride?

    4. The Walking Dead: This was a great house. The actors were very energetic and were getting a lot of scares. Best scare for me was the deparment store fitting rooms. they came at me on both sides at the same time.

EDIT: This is still a great house and the scare actors have gotten their groove.

    5. Silent Hill: Decont house. The cast for all the times i went were meh, none really came at me. the nurses scene with the fakes should have had more real nurses. pyramid head should have done more, it sucks if you miss him.

EDIT: Nothing too new to report

    6. House of horrors: This was good for what had happend, I got some scares. mostley the dracula wives and wolfman got me. I truley though i was going to see Julian Browning in the first 2 scenes, he would have fitted in so well in those scenes.

EDIT: This house, OMG! This house was crazy, it has gotten SO much better than in the past! Frankenstein actually scared me with his bride! he ran down a hallway at me, never saw that any onther night! blew me away!

    7. Alice Cooper: Least Favorite house for me. It was a decent house, but i just didnt like it. This may be due to me not knowing much about alice cooper or hise music. the only 2 songs i know are Schools out and no more mr. nice guy. so this one did not do it for me.

EDIT: This house has gotten much better and i now enjoy going through it. The scare actors have found their groove and are doing great now.

Steets: To be truthful, they were kinda lame. Bravo to the actors that work the streets but they just were not that good.

i push my family memebers blue walker, im not disabled in the slightest. my disabled family member rides in a scooter and i push the walker so she can go in the houses. But since im pushing the walking the scare actors dont try to scare me.

EDIT: The streets are no longer lame!! The scareactors have gotten much better. more of he actors are coming at me and are trying to scare me. Props to all the street and house scare actors!

    hope you enjoyed my review.

  12. yea.. the house is still incredibly underwhelming and disappointing to me... BUT we did also see the "well walker" in the barn last night.

And the only sense of "oh noes im going to be eaten" came from last night due to it being my friend's cast and she was trying to drag me off by the arm. Other than that, yea this house is not worth the wait. So either get express or do it right away/end of the night.

Long time lurker first time poster. This house was great and worth the wait for me. The cast was spot on (went in at around 6:20). I got god scares, they relly got me in the shop hallway. So This house is good if you get good actors and get the scares. I have also only seen season 1 (c'mon Netflix) and I easily recognized some scenes.
