  1. with the AVP tunnel thing, I will be able to let you know if they have an alt path by tomorrow. Since I guide my mother who is disabled through the house. So I will have to take her through the alt path.

Of course after we go through it, I will go back in by myself to experience the tunnel.

  2. My most anticipated

    Houses

    1. AVP- I'm pumped for this maze. I love the concept (based on what I saw on a video of the media event) and the awesomeness of seeing the Xenomorphs in a maze.

    2. Halloween - Love the movies, looking forward to see this maze in action.

    3. Roanoke - The concept and kinda historical aspect has it put up high on my anticipated list.

    4. Dollhouse of the Damned -Concept intrigues me. Have some hope for some good scares.

    5. Dracula - The Dracula house from 09 blew me away. So this one is mid tier for me.

    6. From Dusk Til Dawn - Have not seen the show or anything (will rectify that soon). So I'm not sure what to expect.

    7. The Walking Dead - I like walking dead, but 3rd year in a row isn't needed. That said it can still impress me.

    8. Giggles & Gore- I love clowns, But seeing and hearing on how this maze is really small gets me down.

    Scarezones

    1. Purge - I liked the first movie, have not seen the second one. But the sheer size of this zone puts it high on my list.

    2. Masquerade unstitched - I love a good 18th century ball. This one I'm looking forward to.

    3. Bayou of blood- I'm intrested to see the human sacrifice every hour

    4. Face Off - I love watching Face Off, but this seems to be like more dull 7 scare zone. I will hold off my judgement on this one til I see it.

  3. The more I think about it Hellraiser is a viable option I think. I mean it has great characters. It could be consider and EPIC horror film. It would be a daunting task to do properly... Who knows. Anyway I'd love to see it done well.

That would be interesting, but hard to pull off. If I remember correctly, in one of the countless sequels or movies they went inside the puzzle box. The house could focus on on the world inside the box.

  4. Time for more pictures.

  5. It's kinda funny. My mother who I guide through can't stand the sight of the dead cats. I reach up and pet them, taunting her a bit. I am a cat person, but the dead cats don't bother me.

  6. The actual guy scaring in my room in AWIL actually can't really see incoming people too well unless he opens the door enough that he risks being seen by the guests. So usually he has to let the first person or two walk by and try to scare whoever's behind them; it's not uncommon for him to scare the back of someone's head or hit someone who's still 6 feet away from his door.

They still tend to scream and run away, though.

Sometimes I will see him look out. If I see him, I just say "Hi Undead Jack"

If it was really a problem in getting scares, you could drill a hole through the door and make it look like a peep hole that would be on a front door. That way he can look through and prepare for the scare.

  7. Well last night at about 11:00 a saw a guy (I'm guessing drunk) get escorted out of the park.

The zombie bomb truck was moving out of the Louise restaurant area and a guy holding a glass decided to stand in front of the moving van to get a picture. The scareactors were telling him to move, the coordinator came over and got right up to his ear and yelled at him to move out of the way. He still didn't comply til after the picture was taken.

All in all they got it handled. Just something interesting that happened.

  8. ok, so I want to show support to 2 house that scared the crap out of me.

La Llorona: the freaking room that has Lloronas on both sides only held back by ropes. They got me freaking good.

American Werewolf in London: The Nazi werewolfs often get me. The one who comes out with a knife out of a closet, Bravo to you!

Also a few of the Jacks got me, so Bravo to them too!

    I went through American at around 9:00 - 9:30

    Went through each house twice

  10. Agreeing with the post above, you did come off a bit hostile in this review.

You should give Afterlife a try, the scares are decent and the effects are used to their full advantage of distorting where to go. you could probably not wear the 3D glasses and be fine. Afterlife does not rely too much on the 3D aspect.

  11. Story time!

    This was for Havoc: Derailed

So we take the R.I.P. entrance through the back. they were working on taking the old cast out. we walk back there and all the instant the Dogs of War stop talking and stare. Eventually 2 of them get over the ropes and start charging, one of the guards in the cast grabbed them and held them back. Once they started moving backstage one turned around and started charging back toward us causing the guard to run and grab his harness he had on him and take him backstage.

I freaking applaud these guys, Bravo to these actors here!
