  1. If Jack and TWD are coming back, then chances are we are going to see at least a 50/50 or 40or so/60 split between merch with Jack and TWD. Jack being the low end. Anything else will probably just a be a house shirt.
  2. Probably something to do with hhn 21-23 not having the same reception as really any of the previous years. I do have a bit of an idea, though. Jack and the "prop master" could be two separate entities. Maybe the prop master is "Fear?" He appears in the video on the hhn site, which is weird to me, on top of that the scene with him looks like new footage, although I'm not sure. That and Jack and all of the other icons served under Fear making him their "master." Then again, its probably just Jack because "dats wut da fannzz want lel."
  3. It seems that this hint doesn't have anything to do with a song like the last one, but the interesting thing to me is the "stain pattern" on that paper seems to form the shape of a skull. I haven't really worked much with chemicals myself so I don't know if that's just a small detail or whether the chemicals have something to do with that. Edit: I've run a google search, not finding much and apparently there's nothing on what these chemicals would do when combined, but I ran a google search for "iron oxide 5605" and found that apparently there's "green iron oxide 5605 pigment" on sale on the internet. This is literally all I could really find on it: http://asianironoxide.en.alibaba.com/product/502100806-212716072/green_iron_oxide_5605_pigment.html Zinc oxide has a few interesting uses, a food additive apparently and it is also used to prevent corrosion in nuclear pressurized water reactors. It is also used in mineral makeup and various skin creams. Bismuth subnitrate (or at least bismuth) has the dubious honor of chemically resembling arsenic and is used in cosmetics for eye shadows, and various other beauty products. Talc is also used as a food additive, prevents rashes and is used in baby powder. As well as, again, pharmacy related products. Wikipedia articles: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zinc_oxide http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talc#Uses http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bismuth So far all of these have had to do with beauty products and the previous hint mentioned something about putrefaction. So, I googled the chemicals and putrefaction together and apparently there are quite a few patents and old pieces of medical literature that mention them all. For example "http://www.google.com/patents/EP0589047A1?cl=en I can't really piece these together, as they constantly link to either medical books and or patents for something. Whatever it is, it seems to "relate to the business of beauty products." If all of this is related, my bets are on Resident Evil, but I'm too tired to do much of anything else with this stuff right now. I'm just sort of hoping this has helped someone else out, because I don't really know where to go from here.
  4. From what I remember, AMC has a fair amount of creative control with Walking dead, even when its being used by Universal. This was exactly why the first house was so tame, it functioned basically as a walk through commercial. I suspect that Universal and AMC may be under a contractual agreement that Walking dead has to appear a certain amount of times, I'm suspecting that three is the magic number here but without REALLY being on the business end, I can't be totally sure. I would look more into hint 3, though. There's a lot of horror related things that deal with chemicals, especially chemical weapons. Perhaps it actually refers to Resident Evil? Maynard's other band "a perfect circle" was featured on the Resident Evil afterlife soundtrack. That and with the final movie coming out in 2015 or whatever, it makes sense from a business stand point, but I don't know. Then again, this is just me trying to grab for things that AREN'T walking dead.
  5. I'm just going to throw my two cents into here (for performance #1). Its a fairly common horror trope for the mentally deranged to believe a mask to be their own face. I don't remember watching Halloween at all, any of the movies so I couldn't tell you if this was a plot point in the movies, but it can be easily assumed that Myers is fairly attached to his mask beyond wanting to keep anonymity. Perhaps this ties into "faces on parade?" Or alternatively it could tie into this quote: "I realized what was living behind that boy's eyes was purely and simply…evil."
  6. I don't know where these clues are coming from, but they seem very similar to the clues "Ifrit" would give out.
  7. I know what you're referencing, but I think that dig might be a little too recent. I'm pretty sure that A&D had already begun writing before that was happening. http://gizmodo.com/the-atari-e-t-landfill-excavation-starts-today-what-w-1568029345/1568101582/+robertsorokanich Might be worth speculating but I may have solved that already.
  8. Ten Ton Tick: Taken too soon. You know, there were rumors that kid zone was going to be revamped dating back to... About 2012 or 2013. They could just be rebuilding it from the ground up. Without having a park map handy I couldn't tell you if they were going to expand on something or just get rid of it for something else, and I've only ever been to the park once during regular operation. It strikes me that the area is sort of... Forgotten? I don't know if that's the right word but I don't remember much being near there other than E.T. I'd just keep checking the website to see if we're still getting eight houses once that begins. I don't imagine it will interrupt too much, but I don't know. Man, I'm going to kind of miss how... Weird the area looked during HHN, with all the red "spooky" lighting and sounds mixing in with the child friendly stuff. A surreal experience.
  9. Aren't most horror movies now less violent? Less gore/violence/sexual themes and more "atmosphere" to appeal to the more "sophisticated modern" audiences.
  10. Which one has the biggest budget? Just for the future reference of all of us.
  11. Well. I know nothing about this movie but its recent and got... Good ratings(?) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2070897/ Then again, watching the trailer this seems like something that's 1. A porn 2. Wouldn't... Fly? One of the actress's wikipedia pages does say something about Fangoria revealing a horror nights house at one point, so maybe there's some sort of connection here.
  12. No real idea. Other than "the crow" which I wouldn't really say is a horror movie, and Alfred Hitchcock's birds, which is highly unlikely, I can only relate this to one thing. Poltergeist only had one "character" to die, a bird in a cage. I don't know if they had a pet crow or something since I haven't watched the movie in nearly 10 years, so... I can't really think of what crows could relate to. EDIT: UHH... GUYS, HOLY SHIT WITH THIS ONE: "On top of the master bedroom television set sits an Atari Video Computer System console with its two joysticks; later known as the Atari 2600." ~ IMDB
  13. This is a pretty good jump point for me to bring something up. I'd hate to have more Alien spec again, but when Jimmy said lifeforce. And chances are, I'll regret bringing this up somehow, but... Dan O'bannon, who is mentioned in the trailer for Lifeforce actually wrote Lifeforce's screenplay as well as Alien's. He was also one of the story writers for Alien. Now, part of why I bring this up ISN'T to incite more Alien spec. I hold it as a possibility but with what Murdy said and with "the mouse" as Jimmy called it having that license, I can't say for certain anything about it. HOWEVER: My true purpose for bringing this dead horse back to life is this: Perhaps other projects that these people, actors, writers and all of that have worked on are actually what we need to be looking at. It wouldn't be the first time this is the case. I mean hell, Patrick Stewart was in the movie. We could be getting a fucking borg house for all I know. It was also directed by the director of Poltergeist. I mentioned this in the CA forum section, but Poltergeist is a real possibility. Connections to both the atari 2600, E.T. and a few other things.
  14. Pfft, no. Dig dug wouldn't be intense enough. Let me blow your mind. What's the scariest game on the atari 2600? Who's the internet reviewer who's too afraid to play it? James Rolfe. Who has a movie coming up where he does? James Rolfe. The prop master? More like "Captain N: The game master." He's also had a review of ghost busters. He's even had multiple requests to do it http://www.change.org/petitions/angry-video-game-nerd-host-universal-halloween-horror-nights-or-busch-garden-s-howl-o-scream Get ready folks, this year is gonna be a shit load of fuck.
  15. I don't usually post on this section, as I haven't been able to keep up with LT (which is going to change, hopefully) but this isn't the only change. http://www.hhn24experience.com That link redirects to a go daddy page. Apparently, someone already owns the domain. From the looks of it, at least. Perhaps LT is making a return once again?
  16. Plus, with that logic I could just as easily say we'll be getting a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. house or a Fallout house. Gieger counters are used in a lot of things.
  17. Oh, hi @HorrorNightsORL. Nice of you to pop in on @HorrorNights' Snapchat. What were you two discussing tonight? :) pic.twitter.com/GgAxYh572M — Inside the Magic (@InsideTheMagic) April 15, 2014 And it's basically been confirmed that they're at least working together on something. Not surprising, but you know... For anyone who doubted or whatever.
  18. How deep I descend. Till I reach my end? How deep I descend? Deeper into this abyss. Weighted down and sinking fast. Life did not offer me. More than false destiny.

  19. The bonus hint is something we've sort of been over. Sort of. Mystique said "Ding dong" was in reference to an Edward scissor hands line "Ding dong Avon calling." Avon also made a product that looks hilariously similar to the T-virus samples and regenerate from the Resident Evil film series. Something that Hollywood has gotten requests for. Although, I take this with a slight grain of salt. Especially since if we get it again, we're going to run into a creative issue. We already had a Resident Evil game based house. And other than characters and story there's not much difference amongst the films and games (save for the films being shit) and I don't think GP, or even some fans would be able to tell enough of a difference to warrant that. Also note that Umbrella is a Pharmaceutical company in both iterations, working as a front for bio-weaponry and "take over the world" plots. Thus, "business of beauty products." Although, it could mean something else. No way to be sure other than asking Murdy over twitter. And I don't have nor do I want a twitter.
  20. I don't know about number four. Kerrezan are undead too. Doesn't make much of a difference. You also forget what "Beauty is only skin deep" actually means. It is reference to the BUSINESS of beauty products. AND we still don't know if the twitter means anything for us. Although some of it might/seems to.
  21. Now that we've gotten the Aliens speculation over with, we should probably focus on whatever the hell this means. Then again, I haven't been interested in vampires since I was about five or something, so... For all I know, could be this: Hey, people were talking about a Lions gate connection at one point, right?
  22. Look, I want Aliens just as much as the next person. But realistically it might just be one of those properties that we aren't getting for a long time. That being said, let's keep it in our minds as a possibility and seek some sort of alternative. Aliens can't be the only OMG property out there. Let me also mention that we haven't had a house on a space ship since IT, which should probably tell you something about how well received the concept of "sci-fi-horror" is when it comes to the general public. Doesn't mean it can't happen, but it would be "astronomical." You see, we have a little thing some call the "Sci-fi ghetto" http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ScifiGhetto
  23. So, Murdy basically said Aliens isn't happening at all, potentially ever. @BrandonGoffin no as much as I'd love to do that sets alone would be astronomical to reproduce... So, here's my speculation: Resident Evil is related to Beauty is only skin deep. Some fairy tale shit is. And/or the twitters have been thus far unrelated. There's a possibility for Orlando to do it, but it's small. At least for Hollywood's this ship has been sunk like the Nostromo. Goodnight, folks. We're nerds with no lives.
  24. I think there have been a few of these. There's one that I believe still runs or has been run more recently but every time I try to look for it all I find is nutcases talking about actual alien invasions. There was also an Aliens ride called "Alien: Ride at the speed of fright." http://www.avpgalaxy.net/alien-movies/aliens-ride-at-the-speed-of-fright/ There's apparently also an Aliens game called: "Isolation" which I know nothing about set to release October seventh of this year. http://store.steampowered.com/app/214490/
