I don't really know if I can say there will be more houses just based on that quote. Not out of the question, but not having kept up with the social media side of things, I don't know how much is true and how much is marketing spiel.

Certain things are actually starting to make sense now. Take into account that the mansion from 13 ghosts is apparently similar to the mansion of LT. My guess is that we're in fact dealing with a similar concept to the "Eye of Hell" from 13 ghosts. Perhaps either with the lantern/cane or some device that bypasses them. This would be supported by the voice we heard in the audio clip, the person sounded like they wanted to stop something. Perhaps some form of ritual requiring people's souls or something? If anything, it'll definitely have more of a result than just bringing Jack back. And Cassi or whoever else might using LT to do it.

I've seen it. I think I either had it on vhs or it played a lot on tv. Well, I've only seen the 2001 version. Didn't realize it was a reboot. Problem here is that I haven't seen it anywhere near recently. I remember liking it and once I googled it for this, I felt like tracking it down again.

Yeah, there doesn't appear to be anything hidden within the image this time. What you see is what you get. So, I checked imdb out and the first thing that's on there is about the ghosts being contained in glass prisons. Sounds similar to the lantern. I'd say where you guys are fairly spot on with current speculation. There's also something about needing glasses to see ghosts, there's been discussion of a 3d house here for a while. However, gimp has never given me this dialogue box before: Edit: Made the symbol more pronounced. I don't know what it is. But it might be important. Perhaps a letter or word in another language? Something fictional?

I said the same thing about alien. That being said, we should probably figure out if the "clue" means something else.

Personally, I blame the installation of the starbucks. Which was oddly packed when I went for Halloween horror nights last year. I am impressed she was able to keep texting and stuff while her cart gets slammed around, that's some dedication.

Yeah. I think I'm with you on that last part. I really like Dr. Who, don't get me wrong, and I don't think all of the fanbase of it is like this but... I really don't know if I'd want to go anywhere near that part of the park for fear of running into a bunch of hipster kids who are more interested in swapping tumblr accounts and trading one-liners than actually being at the event. Granted, a fool and their money are easily parted and you WOULD get some money out of people who'd go to the event for that house alone.

I'm wondering if Lady luck plays some part in this year's event. I mean... I don't know why she would, it isn't like they used her properly the first time, but with Jimmy really only posting things that related to her in terms of other icons and the extended scenes of the set it really does seem like they're showing some love for hhn 21.

One might think they would have to use both parks to make this year "something people won't want to miss." I've probably let on that I'm less picky than some people on this site. Hell, if this year was just sequel houses to things we already had, I'd probably still go. Got nothing better to do around that time and my area's halloween experiences are non existent (no decorations, no lights on at houses, no trick-or-treaters). But I'm betting you there are people who probably have less taste than I do that thought last year's experience was less than they bargained for. The area up from the HP side of things had nothing going on and I thought I was in a part of the park I wasn't supposed to be in because of it. The only reason I'd go up there is because I had to for some of the houses. Something like that again wouldn't wow anyone at all, I'd think. Especially not twice over.

You know... It strikes me that asking the question might not be something that I needed to do. The voice saying that something is inevitable sounds very much like Cassilda did in the first piece of audio she sent us last year. Did we ever come to a conclusion on who Cassi was? The question of how she got access to the lantern or whatever she's going for is still pertinent, I think.

I can't figure out how to isolate the audio any further, but this is what I hear: Unknown (to me) person: "...Hello? Can anyone hear me? My name is (something that sounds like Lindsey, maybe not though) and I'm trapped. Ever since (something that sounds like 'mom') told me to do this thing (something that sounds like 'that's inside' but again, probably not as it makes no sense). She's not who she says she is, she's looking/trying (hard to tell as its so quiet it mixes in with the background noise) to bring Jack back. Locked doors/not yours (doesn't make sense this way, can't tell what it is, you get the idea) are a behavior. Don't listen to anything she says, you have to stop me from-" Cassilda(?): "He lies(?) you can't stop it, its inevitable. I would say the general gist is that: "There's this woman, she's manipulating people and working towards a plan that involves bringing Jack back." The questions are: So, who are some female characters that would have access to some sort of way to bring Jack back but also have the potential of being discovered? Either by official means or by force. Who's trapped and where are they trying to contact us (or anyone) from? My guess is that this was taken from the prop warehouse and someone is trying to get the lantern. But that's just me. Its the only feasible way to explain why more than just Jack would be coming back.

Keep in mind that I'm no audio engineer and my ear drums aren't the best due to my love of loud music and first person shooters. We'll see what comes of my tinkering. Listening to a bit of the beginning of this one, it sounds like the person is saying: "Hello? My name is Lindsey(?) and I'm trapped"

When I played the audio backwards and messed around with it I heard this in the background: "...Hello? Mike(Maybe not, the audio here moves quickly) Its a trap/trick(This part could potentially be nothing) *Unintelligable for a few seconds* (Sounds like you can make out faint parts of words, but I can't figure out what) 8, 5 (or 9) (Or "Hey, Mike.) (Or Dave) She's not who she says she is. She's *unintelligable* Jack back(?) I know it was her Don't listen to anything she said (there seems to be a voice other than the man's that sounds like its saying "He lies.") You have to stop April(?) Gabriel(?)" That being said, I'm going to try to figure out what's said after "Who am I?"

This is the exact quote. Its the description for the audio post. Although, I don't know if it was there before.

Potentially. What with the audio's description mentioning "your words are just noise that fills my ears" I kind of feel like the main voice is to try to make figuring out what the conversation is more difficult. Edit: Part of it does seem to be original material, but the gibberish is probably indecipherable. Sounds like three or four pieces of audio going forwards and backwards and it may not even be words at all. I'll keep tinkering with that, but I imagine what we really want is the buried audio.

I think you and I are looking for two different things. I tried isolating the conversation in the background that I made an mp3 out of. So, unless you can listen to it, you won't have an idea of what I heard. That being said, I am trying to figure out what's up with the audio you're thinking of. The "who am I" definitely comes from Cassilda's first bit of audio she sent us last year, but I can't make out anything else she's saying. I think what she's done is put another layer of audio over that one to make finding the conversation I was trying to isolate more difficult. I'll try uploading the audio some other way. Push comes to shove I'll post it to youtube.
