So, I may be the only one. But tonight, I actually liked this zone. More so than some other zones. The fences were closed 3 times in my face and made me turn around in my two trips through.

I have to say, I was quite disappointed the two times I went through this house. The creep was there but there was very few scares. The opening poe was good both times I went through, the dancing room was good both times, the ravens were good one trip.

In case you're curious on what happened to the "first" show tonight, about 1 minute after they let everyone in the stadium rain started to pour. 15 minutes later when the show was supposed to start they said the show would be delayed by 5 minutes. 6 minutes later they canceled the show. From what I could tell, this was due to water getting onto the stage and making it slippery. Further, they seemed to look very closely at a pyrotechnic .
The 2nd show filled up and went on schedule. I'd give the show I saw a few hours ago a 6.

oh well im really glad to hear you say that actually, I was super excited about the event and the houses sounds like they rock but sounded like the zones suck by the reviews
I have not seen anything but I still wish they had made cataconbs or havoc zone instead of Nightmaze i mean, come on..
Havoc was only good due to the great high energetic casts.
Catacomb's story line would have to be modified to put it on a street.

I'd keep in mind that that video is just the animation that will be projected onto the building. When it actually is projected ONTO the building, it will look even better because of the added depth and such.
Let's hope that's the case.

Asylum in Wonderland was one of the most blandest scare zones during the day. At night it was a great zone. Why so quick to post about how awful Lady Luck and the 7 & YLHRO zones look before you experience it?

i heard things from sources i cant say that there has been talk of using a real helicopter in this house
Is the speculation thread your source? It was openly said someone saw a helicopter going into the SS.

Judging by the spelling errors and missing words I'd say this isn't the final map. And 7 looks way to short.
Not to mention the final map would list rides.

I'm really excited for this zone! I always remember going to Universal in Spain many years ago, before I even knew Halloween Horror Nights existed and going to their version of it and one room in one of the houses was like a greenhouse, with rows of bushes with plants coming out and touching you and people jumping out. So I have high expectations for this, obviously this is on a much bigger scale and in a much more open space, but yeah could definitely be interesting...so roll on October I say!!!
The open space isn't a problem. This being in central park and I'm sure they'll LOAD it up with fog like they did when actors were there. (School house)
On a side note, the link in your signature does not lead to any picture. Also, just when you get a working link to whatever picture you want, it'd be [img ]IMAGE-LINK-HERE[/img ] . Without the spaces of course. If you want the image centered it'd be [center ][img ]IMAGE-LINK-HERE[/img ][/center ] .

Am I the only terribly devastated by the loss of the house books? I absolutely LOVED seeing the house's elevations, concept art, floor plans, and so on.
I really do wish Universal will bring them back this year.
Meh, it was never that interesting to see sketches of things I was about to see with the lights on, in my opinion.

Actually Gambit I asked a similar question and PWT said that there are different actresses playing Lady Luck
Look at the reveal video posted at 11:30 on reveal and then look at commercial. It's a different actress.

That would be kind of... eh never mind. Plus, when Jimmy said some of the zone will be indoors, I think we might have a hidden icon house at Nazarman's!
Jack and Chance are getting married inside Naz's.

On a side note, all this talk about part of the scare zone is quite interesting... If Lady Luck was in there don't ya think it'd clog up the SZ and start a line?

Not quite - Saws'n'Steam (RED) and Winter's Night (CYAN) - Poe is "blue" and hasn't gotten its game yet.
There are of course back story tables accompanying each house. Winter's Night's newspaper article may hold the answer to what "The House" actually is... and that "spinster" sounds awfully suspicious. Hasn't Universal PR stated several times now that Lady Luck craves giving you a choice?
For the sake of being specific it's a Light Sea Green Cyan...

42 out of 46 posts are about concerns over people having PTSD including people threatening to boycott the entire event rather than just avoiding the one house? I understand it's a legitimate issue to a minority, but this is getting a bit ridiculous. So far I've only seen a single person who actually claims to have PTSD and they have the common sense to take precautions and not go. The Nightingales are the aggressors, not the soldiers. I'm just really disappointed that this house could be scaled back because most of the talk so far has been about the one issue rather than being hyped for what once was the most anticipated house. Put a clearly visible warning sign, warn the scaractors of the potential dangers posed in this one specific house and that should be sufficient IMO.
I feel like this post was missed.

Last night at one point their was 2 chainsaws in SnS and one outside SnS.
H.R. has a chainsaw sound effect but the chainsaw is a toy chainsaw.
7 has two chainsaws on each cast.
