Have I mentioned how much I love this zone lately?
-
oh the irony
also it really amazes me how the rockit reached 60+min at hhn. i cant imagine what will happen hell week:P.
does anyone know what the wait times hovered around last night for all houses? if IB was 75, i cant imagine saws/poe
Saws hit 45 and poe hit 90.
-
As long as your normal height you can turn your head and slant it a bit and see it without even looking at the roof.
In other news this house is up to 90 minutes while Forsaken next door is 15 minutes.
-
I could be wrong, but I thought they divided the lines up in sections (Section A, B, so on) and then each section adds a certain amount to the wait time. I heard them talking about Section A already being filled at HoH when I was entering.

Am I the only one that thinks a roof is absolutely necessary in the Masque of the Red Death room?
I've never looked up in the room, ever.

General HHN 21 Atmosphere
I love this picture, a lot.

These points:
1 - Your logic is broken. If ppl will want to take pictures with the hotties no matter what, it stands to reason that height will not make a difference.
2 - I personally feel like Sting Alley is crowded even if I'm in there alone with no scareactors or guests.
3 - Maybe Uni is setting something up, like how last year they suddenly added the icongasm in Sting Alley at the last minute. Maybe on the last day the Ladies will ... be.. juggling. Or something. Maybe hurling insults at everybody all night like the Hookah Smoking Caterpillar in 08.
Last year Saws n Steam was in sting alley. You're thinking of the year before.

In Winter's Night Mike Aiello's grave has a small toy clown. You probably won't even notice it, but, um. It's there.

Hand hearts?
First result on google images. ^ Hand Heart.

That room is in there but if you go early in to the day. You can see the full effect of it. As the night goes on people's shoes dirty it up. I'll give you a clue which room it's in.
Cat's play with what? It's a room inside not hard to miss just look down.
This house keeps me on my toes. It's fighting for my number 1 spot. I don't really see how anybody can say this house is terrible or just meh. Maybe your just understand the bigger picture of the house. From the 3D, the colors, the "Things" that pop out are terrifying, the non-actor scare that scares me all the time. Also anybody notice the crawler on the wall. Stuff like that makes this house amazing to me.
I can say this house is terrible because I get no scares in it. The only scare I've ever gotten in it was the finale while one actor distracted me. Also, I feel like some rooms in this house don't work, at all. When I get more scares in HR, which is supposed to be the fun house this year, something isn't right.
-
Unfortunately we don't.
Gotcha.
I get tons of vault shout outs in Forsaken. Are some of them from you?
-
Wait, there's a chainsaw gang? Where?
I was just talking about the normal chainsaw gang that's there year after year. You're not missing anything, there isn't one this year.
-
You probably went in during a cast change on Saws N' Steam because we have people everywhere.
SnS is the only house I haven't seen empty spaces in, just for the record.
-
Do actors in this house now have an on/off switch for their eyes? I just heard they did.
-
Unless I missed something, opening room is Halloween.
-
Not sure if you guys heard it yet, but there is a line I heard from
Conan
where he says to someone in the audience, "Oh, are you one of those Horror Night Junkies? Someone who goes home and blogs or posts on forums about how the show isn't as good as last year's? Well, I wasn't in last year's show!"
I thoroughly enjoyed that line.
The line has been in the show from opening show.

I liked the sticks better. It seems like now they're just trying to toss chainsaws wherever they can. I thought it was fine just having the two in 7 and two in Acid Assault...
This this this this this. x1000.
-
Confirmed yes they have black chainsaws. Which doesn't make too much since.
People have to have their chainsaws at HHN. So you end up with random characters with chainsaws that weren't intended to have them.
Did they completely get rid of the sticks they had that made the sound? They got plenty of scares with them and it was way cooler.
-
So, um, I just got word that LL's minions now have chainsaws... great.

Saturday of opening weekend I was in line for WN. There was a mentally challenged kid (around 16) in front of me, his step dad, and the rest of the family. I didn't pay much attention until I realized the sister was crying in her other brother's arms and telling the kid to not do this. To make a long story short, the kid decided to scream at his dad and tell him all kinds of wonderful things until we were at the front of the line. At the front of the line the kid threw a punch at his dad and his dad decided to tackle him. OPD came over and jumped in and pulled them aside.
Was a fun way to kick off HHN.

PWT....lol maybe the acid rain cleaned it very well.
Let me ask you all something. Take away the 3D building projections. How does this scare zone stand on your scale? Is it just as good or ....
Even if you take away the 3D for In-Between the house (to me) still works and is scary.
Without the 3D projections this zone is meh. There's some actors that you can tell are trying to scare much more than others, compared to a zone like 7 where almost all actors are trying very hard.
What's scary to people varies. For example, In-Between is at #7 on my list and without the 3D it'd be #8. I don't find it scary at all.

I can't believe nobody has even mentioned this before, but in a house full of holidays...where is Halloween?
Unless I missed something, opening room is Halloween.
-
crap....crap crap crap...
i saw the nightingale talking to someone up there and getting off i think, damn, those two are the best, i would be so sad if they are gone. it would ruin nightingales completely
They're both a cool effect but neither have scared me.
I wouldn't go as far to say as it'd ruin either house.

Are we talking about regular rain or acid rain?

All the actors in the zone are over six one, I believe.
