    2011 Scareactor Appreciation Thread

    First off, every single actor on both cast A and B in HR is awesome. I could name almost every actor on both casts and have a memory with them.

    Cast B Forsaken is awesome. 2nd scene you guys have amazing team work and got me every time. There's tons of great actors in Forsaken, both casts.

    Saws (don't know which cast) was great tonight as always. Plenty of VAAAULTS and such.

    Finally, Acid Assault was great tonight. Trying to run fellow actors over with a grocery cart was a awesome sight.

    We'll never know, I suppose, but I'm curious about the reasoning behind not opening Saturday up. Trying to ween FFPers after 3 years so it doesn't become too expected? Just an oversight by management?

    Surprised to hear about Friday, I deliberately skipped expecting a madhouse. If Friday was dead, can only imagine how empty it was last night.

    It was a bit busier last night, but still light. I didn't see anything get over 45 minutes. It was quite chilly all night, which seems to have thinned out the crowd the later it got.

    This house has gotten much better! Red death and tell tale heart guy props to you!

    Forsaken B:

    There's too many of you to name that gave me shout outs! Some I remember are 2nd scene and courtyard scene

    Nightingales B:

    Awesome cast! Props to the nurse who'd always pop out and then point at me. Soldier who is ripped in half thanks for doing the effect after the third trip through, I happened to be in front of the water spray and my shirt was SOAKED.

    Saws B:

    Props to the guy in the aquarium scene!

    WN:

    As usual great job both casts!

    As of last night, this is competing for my favorite house of the year. It's already my favorite fun house. I really have a hard time finding one actor that looks bored on either cast, which is extremely easy to do in some other houses. I could shout out to almost every actor on both casts. Seriously, you guys are all great.

    Awesome house, the scenery is BEAUTIFUL but why was there no snow in the first and final room's tonight? The 2 previous nights I went there was snow in those rooms, tonight there was no snow.

    I could be wrong but I don't think the snow machine is on constantly. Most snow machines I've seen are on for 5-10 minutes then off for 5 or so.

    This house was one of my favorites at the beginning of the event, but I'm feeling like a lot of the actors are just losing steam :( Maybe it's just my timing, but I go through this house A LOT and it just seems like it's on a decline. I want it to be as intense as it was for opening weekend again! I'm kinda hoping somebody can prove me wrong..

    This house was intense opening weekend? When I took my trips through opening weekend the house didn't seem any more intense than your average house. I felt like a portion of the house's cast were bored, too.

    According to Opening Night in the Press Conference, There are icon references in the houses themselves i only found two and maybe hint at another. Does anyone else have the other references? Winter's Night:

    Edit: (Apparently I can't read.) I never heard about them putting icon references in the houses, just overall HHN references like hands of cards that add up to 21 in Nightingales and The Thing.

    So has it been decided that this week is hell week? I know when I asked a few weeks ago it was back and forth on this past week and this week being hell week. I won't be going this weekend, just curious.

    just my 2 cents, i dont post much but.... anyone that dosent think this years event was amazing somethin is wrong with you... the houses alone were phenomenal. winters night was amazing cuz i went threw almost alone.... the forsaken... i have NEVER seen a set that amazing. especially the inverted floor. costumes is amazing... hr blood n gutz was hilarious. and the sets were awsome. the 3d imaging in acid assult...wow just wow. universal puts in ALOT of work and detail into this event just as much as any other haunt... so form me... not that it matters much... KUDOS to you universal... i have been for 13 years and you have NEVER let me down....

    So there is a scare with a guy with a Bungee cord that comes at you in a window but of all the times I've been to this house I don't ever recall seeing it I always hear it done to someone behind me or in front, I guess it takes a while to set up? <_<

    Talked to a couple people in the stores across the park last night. Apparently, hoodies are completely sold out for this year. No more until next year.

    Sorry, guys.

    Just like cards were completely sold out and no more were coming? It was said before that store employees have no idea what they're talking about. It was proven Thursday when more cards came in stock. I don't think they'll be more hoodies, but just saying to not put your full faith in what store employees say.

    Maybe it's just me, but I didn't like The In-Between. I may go even as far to say that I liked Clown-O-Vision in 2007 better than I did this house. The house itself had great potential to catch me off guard and scare the living hell out of me, but it didn't seem like the actors were really utilizing that to their fullest capabilities. It's not a bad house, but I wouldn't say the best of the event by any means.

    It's not just you.

    It is possible however, that I've only been through one of the casts this whole time. My next trip I'll make sure to try both casts again.

    BUT I need to know, at least in private message, lol, no but seriously because every time i go to this house the scares are lacking in some places, i just always feel the house is not as strong as it could be
