  1. Seems like we might be getting some decent facades for the sprung tents this year. As much as I loved last year's tent houses, I thought both of the facades were a little too simple. Don't get wrong I loved both facades, they worked PERFECTLY for their respective houses...but with such elaborate facades such as that of Winter's Night and The Thing they just came off as well, too simple. Maybe this is one of the positive consequences of being down a house this year. Make up for the lack of a house with some nice set pieces/facades or the houses his year. We'll see though on opening night
  2. I'm imagining similar costumes to that of some of the scareactors in The In Between (minus the bright colors) mixed with the effect of the weeping angels from Winter's Night. Perhaps a flying scareactor like that from the Forsaken finale...the possibilities are endless...
  3. Does anyone know where I can find blueprints/layouts of past houses? I know some websites have some pretty low quality pictures of them but I can't really find anything that has definition to them. Just curious if anyone knows where someone can get some access to the layouts of houses from the past 3 years or so Thanks!
  4. Check out http://halloweenhorrornights.wikia.com/wiki/Halloween_Horror_Nights_Orlando. They don't have descriptions for every house, but they do have a good chunk of them covered. Plenty there to keep you busy until this year's event!
  5. What exactly do they mean by mirrored? I'm expecting an effect similar to that of those creepy gimmicky pictures with the eyes that are cut out and set back a bit farther than the actual picture so it appears that no matter where you're standing, he's staring at you....
  6. I'll be there September 27th, 28th, 29th, and 30th with my beautiful girlfriend. Will look into possibly getting a Nightmares shirt
  7. I'd love to see your time machine! Ya know, the one that allowed you to fast forward and see EXACTLY what these houses are going to entail. Attend the event, THEN complain about what the houses are like...otherwise, it just comes off as bitching and moaning beforehand.
  8. Maybe, to fit with the trend of the names of the houses we already know about, the next one to be announced will be "Penn & Teller: Welcome To Las Veas" Maybe we ARE actually getting that theme everyone is complaining about...the theme this year is looking to be "Welcome". The icon? A trio of a Wal-Mart greeter, a Moe's employee, and that guy at Disney's Beach Club who greets everyone walking in. You know, people who say "Welcome to..." a lot. Gonna be a great year...so glad to see we might FINALLY be getting that overarching theme
  9. Be careful...not too many people here are too keen to other's opinions....especially if they're deemed as 'negative' and don't agree with theirs. However, I believe that what we might be getting this year could be unique and may be our own "Orlando" twist on this house. So I'm hoping (and here's to hoping) that it's unique in it's own front but still stays true to and fits in with the type of event that we're used to here on the East Coast. And that's all I have to say about that.
  10. Please elaborate, Legacy, I'm intrigued
  11. So are we looking at a possible 3D house involving P&T then? I know it's been causally mentioned before...but not much has really been said on the subject. With the success of The In-Between last year, I'd LOVE to see another 3D house!
  12. Anyone else thinking this might not happen tonight? Maybe Universal meant to post "by the end of next week" rather than "end of the week"?
  13. I think he's clearly implying a Family Guy themed house...c'mon, the signs are everywhere!
