What if P&T was in 3d(as rumored) but may also be the "dead exposer" type house as well? 3D with the constant strobe lights, may be a cool idea....and if its a toxic waste, post apocalyptic Vegas...then i think it would work.

I think the idea of some gory illusions should entice you...some stuff we might not have seen at horror nights before.

Has any one seen anything as it concerns to any other houses or do we have some scare zone ideas or props hiding around?(other then the fog machine in sting alley)

The Lady in black would be a pretty cool ip house...since it follows the same kind of HAUNTED HOUSE story as LT did...Might be pretty cool

P&T should be pretty cool. They tend to be bloody and "adult themed" on stage, so the translation of some of their bloodier illusions should be pretty simple to add to a haunted house. Im really looking forward to see what on earth the A&D team can come up with when given such a well known and respected duo such as P&T. I expect this house to be the "dark humor house" this year but I'm sure I'm not the first person to make that assumption. Still really excited to see what the other houses are and if we won't actually get any original houses which i totally doubt. We shall wait and see.

If you truly think that HHN hasn't gone down hill, and that SOME of the comments made on these boards...although made with a little too much vigor, are to some point right. No one here will stop going. We simply think the event COULD be better. I personally don't think the event is bad, but I'm also not a freak and I know that there are other events and that those other events are closing in fast, and the early signs are saying that instead of jumping the shark and innovating the event AGAIN, they SEEM to be going backwards...or at least in neutral. I don't think that is good enough for an event of HHN status. I LOVE HHN and will always support the event, I just think if it were my ship, I'd push the limit a little more...Love the guys and gals at A&D no disrespect, I know they don't have final say all the time. I think maybe the beef of a lot of you is that the event has actually gotten too big...Lots of drunk people mean lots of unhappy sober folks just trying to wait in these ungodly long lines. Maybe our anger is being aimed at the wrong target.

I don't believe you quite understand whats going on here. We don't hate the event, we LOVE IT!! Thats why were here. The boards are a place that people of like minds can get together and share thoughts. Thats whats going on. We are simply exchanging thoughts. Maybe not everyone agrees with everyone else, but we all do love HHN and are simply trying to give our 2 cents. I believe that saying that you don't or won't like something this early is indeed alarmist. As far as my posts are concerned, I was simply stating that with no theme, I simply can't see how the event will tie together. Not that I don't like it, or its stupid, or whatever. No I ment Howl-o-scream on the west coast of florida. If you attend the event at all, you would know that they are not that far behind what HHN was doing in 2002-03. They are on a faster track then HHN is, or it seems to me. I go to both and i would agree that HHN is better, but not AS MUCH better then most HHN fans would care to admit sorry wrong quote and i never claimed that Uni came up with the extreme house idea, i was mearly stating that HOS was, in ALOT LESS TIME, able to give the public what we were praying to have at HHN

That is exactly what i mean. If we go back to a time in HHn history, before icons and themes, we see what got us to this point. we also see a basic formula for witch HHN has built this unbelievable event. I personally think that if A&D or marketing or whoever makes these decisions, would be doing a great injustice to the fans as well as themselves, Horror nights is supposed to be immersive, isn't that why we go every year? If HHN Orlando becomes more like Hollywood I'm afraid that the HHN we have all grown to love and obsess over, Will be gone forever and the event will lose what it has gained by taking drastics leaps of faith and landing on two feet. USO is probably my favorite Theme park.(and IOA) But HHN is quickly losing ground to that OTHER EVENT on the west coast. The rumored extreme house has, in essence, been at HOS for the last 2 years...ALONE. Not exactly what the rumors were but close enough i think. I beg A&D PLEASE DON'T RUIN THE BEST HAUNTED ATRACTION IN THE COUNTRY. That is all

it's really sad to hear everyone talking about HHN having no overlaying theme. Isn't that, aside from budget, makes them different and better then everyone else? I've been going to HHN since 2001, and I can't believe that A&D would just so drastically and abruptly change the formula to a winning recipe? IDK maybe I'm way off base but I can't believe that HHN will go without a theme. I can understand no icon; but to have no theme? A&D can't let that happen, and I don't believe they will.

Finally someone said it. Im tired of going on the boards, just to hear 12 year olds complain that HHN is going to suck...when in reality none knows about the event or houses. These are the same kids when i go to the event are tied to mommy or daddy's leg. If everyone one forgot there have been some good diss. boards shut down because of this crap. This is a spec. thread, so if you're going to bash the event before it even is finished, be my guest, but i will no longer acknowledge such negativity, and i suggest that everyone else maybe cool their jets and be patient.
