  1. You don't have to do movie tie-ins. It's ok to do it sometimes like HHN17 and 19, but it gets tiring if they're all based on movie characters all the time. Also come on guys, we don't want to take all the fun out of this creative event by putting everyone's ideas down all the time or taking it too seriously like it's going to be a real HHN event, for example not worrying about what's going to market well. Sure we'll want to make it cool, but have fun with it!
  2. I REALLY like the idea of a voo-doo theme, that could be alot of fun to play around with!
  3. Very Cool!!! Any specific guidelines, am I allowed "envelope pushing"? Within reason of course
  4. I can send a copy your way! is it possible to attach files to posts here?
  5. Hey, don't get me fired here before I even start! I'm not THAT bad! lol
  6. Cool, I see I'm assigned as Show Writer, should be fun, how many shows am I writing for? I'd imagine one is Bill & Ted.... Do I also get to design a Arrival type show as well? And I may be a procrastinator, but when it comes to HHN, I'm more than dedicated, all of my friends can attest to that!
  7. I say we just put the page back up, as it was in protest
  8. Yeah I'd like in too if it's not too late! I have a good excuse....I rarely scroll down past the main HHN threads
  9. On that dark day, I will never step through the gates of Universal Orlando again as long as I walk this earth
  10. Does anyone know exactly why Roddy left Universal? Did he have a disagreement of some kind?
  11. I added a reply and pointed this rube to the official HHN Website, a commercial from last year, and an interview with Roddy. What other proof does this nozzle need?
  12. I made an account on wikipedia and I want to add to the discussion but I'm not sure how, it doesn't seem as simple as pressing "comment" to add your thoughts. I have to wonder if the rock this guy is living under has a TV, for if he did, he'd see the COMMERCIALS for the event that air constantly. I'd link to as many of those as we can find, as well as the official Universal Orlando website. Assuming he's heard of such a place. If all this comes down to is that he's looking for a "reliable source" to confirm or deny that BeetleJuice is NOT the presenter for Hollywood this year, tell him he'll get his source in a few weeks when the official website run by the Universal Orlando Resort Updates.
  13. Wow! That moderator obviously doesn't know his ass from a gopher obviously! I posted a link to this topic on my facebook to help spread the word
  14. Hope this isn't a dumb question, but why isn't Brian allowed back? Did he piss off the higher ups or violate his agreement with the event? I didn't see it in '07 but I did find his show in '08 pretty entertaining. All hail Mr. Happy Pants!
  15. Yeah, I never got why 1992 was called "The Second Annual Halloween Horror Nights" When it was Fright Nights in 1991, shouldn't it have been the first Halloween Horror Nights? Then again...the sequel to Hero's Quest was called "Quest for Glory 2"....
  16. Is that the official name for this year's event? Based on all the speculations I was hoping for something along the lines of "The Roots of all Horror"
  17. June 19th! Hey does anyone know the name of the track by MS that's on the website?
  18. I LOVE that music on the site! Very chilling!
  19. Wow, I really wish I could have experienced those days!! Especially during those moments when you have a slight buzz and a bit of an emergency to attend to, and you duck into the bathroom the one area you think it always safe, but nope, one of the scare actors decided to follow you in there for one quick scare. Man that would be a blast! I saw something similar to that during Reflections of Fear, I was waiting over by the Ricter Burger and I watched a few of the chainsaw guys chasing these girls and they ran into the restaurant, the chainsaw guys didn't follow them inside, but they were standing outside the door teasing and taunting them, it was a pretty funny sight
  20. I always though I house based around "The Amityville Horror" would be cool, the original movie and the book, not that ridiculous remake
  21. Yup, I remember seeing the Body Collector, my friend even went up to him and asked him if he was a Body Collector, and he nodded lol
  22. Roger Wilco can mop the floor with Guybrush anyday of the week! Back on Topic: I agree Kris, the glasses made the house more disorienting and alot more fun. If they bring back a house in the same vain, it'd be cool if they could also create the illusion of a room spinning around, like the vortex tunnel, but horizontally instead of vertically I'd also like to see another house like The Hallow, that was one of my favs from 18, and of course another Body Collectors, I never experienced the original, but CotP was one of the most chilling, atmospheric houses I experienced.
